Reviews for Cider Barn
Review 1:Very hard mattress - gave me an aching back. Good bathroom but nowhere to put your toiletries and no soap dish in the shower so had to put shampoo etc on the floor. Wifi not good in our bedroom. Breakfast nice but bacon had been cooked earlier so rather tough.
Review 2:Lovely converted old barn and pretty garden.
Review 3:Not a great deal of privacy (thin walls), bathroom for our room was not en suite, WiFi limited to unavailable in rooms (only good reception in common area).
Review 4:Beautiful house, warm welcome by hostess, surroundings.
Review 5:Warm reception, hot tea and great home made cake. Magazines and living room, warm on a cold and rainy night. Bed room/bathroom were perfect. Lovely barn conversion, breakfast upstairs was very good.
Review 6:Firstly, Louise is a great host!! Made us feel so welcome & a really nice, warm feel to the place. Lovely lady & makes your stay great. Very helpful & she does an AMAZING breakfast!! The barn inside is beautiful throughout, a real barn feel & kept a lot of originality in there. It's set in a lovely country village with perfect surrounding areas for walks & places to eat etc. Our room was brilliant!! Everywhere is immaculately clean, lovely en-suite & the beds were the comfiest EVER! I'd advise anybody to book to stay here & it's perfect for access to local beaches & days out. All in all a perfect stay & many thanks to Louise

Review 27:I didn't like having to leave! I didn't have enough time to explore the immediate area and enjoy the garden. There was nothing I didn't like about Cider Barn! Other than I had no Internet access which turned out to be a good thing!
Review 28:I loved the beautifully renovated barn with well furnished very comfortable rooms plus great en suite shower. The gardens and surrounding area and walks were lovely. I received a wonderfully warm welcome from the owner who was very helpful and made us feel at home. Lovely cooked breakfast. The ground floors have their own doors to the gardens so you can come and go easily.
Review 29:Could be signposted better from the through road.
Review 30:Very interesting hide away. Well designed and comfortable facilities with good friendly service and lovely walks close by.
Review 31:Sisters mid 50s sharing a room. I was phoned twice that day during business meetings and asked at length when we were arriving and if we wanted cake despite hinting heavily to get off the phone. We arrived early [4.00PM] for which we were reprimanded and were told to wait in the garden where it was blowing a gale - we were not offered tea etc, we were not at any time offered the sitting room which was next to our bedroom to use - we had asked for a twin room and found it made up "double" then, having waited 1/2 hr for the room to be cleaned, there was a pair of dirty socks on the floor. We were given pretty vague directions to local pub and as a result got lost, but finally found it. Breakfast was very late and interminable and although we had ordered the evening before and were again asked what we wanted it was very moderate and we did not get what we asked for. There was a very poor mobile signal but we were not offered the wifi access code. No I would not stay again. No I would not recommend it to friends or anyone on business or who has anything else to do.
