Reviews for Yacht Bay View

Review 1:Sea wall repairs are a temporary restriction on car parking (to March 2016/)

Review 2:Yacht Bay View is a superior B&B. We liked everything, especially the cheerful and helpful landlady. The cooked breakfasts were outstanding!

Review 5:There was nothing to dislike

Review 6:Everything was spotlessly clean , very friendly hoists breakfast was perfect ample choice of breakfast to choose from fresh fruit yoghurt cereals kippers U name it & they had it ,would recommend a stay to every one xx

Review 7:We were in the attic room so to be very picky, a small shelf/bedside table would have been useful.

Review 8:The breakfast was excellent. The owners were very friendly and accommodating.

Review 9:Obviously no fault of the hotel, but The noise from the yacht club behind, people stood outside smoking and talking really loud, and the music was a concern.

Review 10:Friendly atmosphere and quality food

Review 11:We paid a little extra for a superior room. It was well furnished, comfortable bed with excellent bathroom and large shower. The breakfast was really good and staff lovely - nothing too much trouble for Joanne who owns the property.

Review 12:Nothing as everything was either as expected or better.

Review 13:Great location. Excellent sea view. Great host in Hazel with nothing too much trouble and a good breakfast.

Review 14:plumbing not perfect-shower changed from warm to hot/cold while standing under it.

Review 15:lovely room with sea view. Room well equipped-water, robes, good bedding and towels. The breakfast and service excellent.

Review 16:The attention to every detail to make us feel really at home. The excellent welcome from our hostess. The superb quality of food ,bedroom etc. could not be faulted

Review 17:Absolutely nothing. A full length mirror behind the bathroom door or on one of the walls would have been good but certainly not a big miss.

Review 18:I was staying in a twin room with my mother. It was a lovely room with everything we needed. We had lovely comfy beds. Fluffy white towels. Tea and coffee facilities. Bottled water. A small but lovely ensuite nicely decorated and toiletries. Hazel was a lovely friendly host. Very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this and would return anytime.

Review 19:I visited with my sister-in-law on holiday from New Zealand and we both enjoyed the location. Isobel met my brother in Morecambe in 1956 and spent her honeymoon here in 1957. We found it a suitable location for public transport around the Lake District and nearby Lancaster. Our hosts made us very welcome with genuine friendliness and information to help us enjoy our stay. Having a tv in the bedroom as well as the lounge gave you individual choice

Review 20:The sea view room gave a beautiful view that my visiting parents very much enjoyed. It was easy to get to from Heysham ferry and had great walking connections to coastal and canal paths. Excellent breakfasts too.

Review 21:Parking was the main problem outside the hotel very limited spaces, but after 5pm you could park just round the corner at the Town Hall. Before 5pm you are limited to 30 minutes no return within 2 hours. Plenty of car parks, but had to pay. Free after 6pm.

Review 22:The owners were so friendly

Review 23:Very friendly owners who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. As for the breakfast, if you can get better I would like to know where. It was as good as it gets. Thx.

Review 24:nothing

Review 25:The rooms are very clean and tidy The location is excellent which is more than I can say for some of them along the sea front and excellent value for money

Review 26:Our superior twin was a little on the small side for 2 & the en-suite rather bijou but overall very clean & comfy.

Review 27:Hospitality, helfulness & friendliness of owner was excellent, as was the quality of breakfast.

Review 28:Big and fluffy bath towels. Within walking distance to railway station to travel to the Lake District, Preston and Grange Over Sands.Breakfast was excellent with a choice of full English or kippers etc, Owners very friendly and nothing was to much trouble.

Review 29:there was nothing we disliked about the stay and would difinately go back there and recommend it to other people if they say they are going to morcombe.

Review 30:the hotel was very clean, breakfast was great and good location, not too far to walk along to the centre where all the shops are

Review 31:Honestly, nothing. I imagine it would have been a little tough without having a car, but it was truly a delightful stay and the hospitality could not be beat- I was meeting a colleague and her parents stopped in with her, they were welcomed with tea, made at home- it was such a lovely place to stay.

Review 32:The warmth of the host, the delicious special breakfast options- the mushroom and bacon benedict was to die for, the cosiness of the sitting room and bedroom, easy free parking, and the little touches and brightness throughout the room and the house- and as mentioned in previous posts, the view from the breakfast is stunning.

Review 33:Nothing

Review 34:I liked everything about the guest house.the views were terriffic the rooms were very clean. The staff were excellent and very easy to talk to. The breakfasts were excellent and of good size with plenty of options. Will certainly look at going back again.

Review 35:If you are on the large side you may have trouble getting in the shower, this isn't a dislike as I loved the hotness and strength of the shower but cubicle a little small.

Review 36:Our delux room, spacious, King size bed with lovely mattress. strong shower was heaven. Tea coffee and bottled water in room. Spotlessly clean. Owners very friendly, and Bay window with views to die for.

Review 37:Our stay wasn't long enough.

Review 38:Our first visit was so good we had to return. Hazel and Roger were as welcoming as before. This time we had a view over the bay, great for watching the fishing boats before going to breakfast which was excellent. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed so comfortable.

Review 39:Gorgeous room, comfortable bed, wonderful location and super sea view. Excellent value for money. Delicious breakfast and lovely owner. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Review 40:There was nothing we didn't like. Some visitors may find the stairs difficult because the hotel is a tall building, and our room was on the second floor. Not a problem for us, but be aware of this if stairs are an issue for you. The only thing which perhaps made our stay less than 100% wonderful was the weather, as we experienced the tail end of the recent hurricane!

Review 41:This hotel is warm and comfortable. It is beautifully clean, and we felt at home from the moment we stepped through the door. Hazel is a marvellous hostess and does everything she can to make sure that you are comfortable. When she showed us to our room we couldn't believe just how beautiful it was, with a generously large bed and two comfy chairs overlooking the bay. There was every type of tea available, plus coffee and chocolate-based drinks, as well as luxury biscuits, and the supply was topped up daily. Breakfast was delicious and with a great choice of cereal, fruit, cooked food, toast and tea/coffee. There is a lovely lounge area, and the pretty Breakfast Room overlooks the bay. Just wonderful!

Review 42:we found the owners to be very friendly and had lovely a breakfast each morning. The king size bed was so comfortable and the shower larger than normal. Location very convenient on the sea front.

Review 51:A really nice B&B with an excellent choice of breakfast menu. A perfect location on the Morecombe Bay sea front, which our rooms bay window took full advantage of.

Review 52:On street parking can be a little tight. The upper rooms might be a problem for those who have difficulty with stairs (or heavy luggage, as we had).

Review 53:Nice old fashioned B & B. Room a little small, but we expected that. Good breakfasts and lovely landlady.

Review 54:The only things I didn't like was not always any Internet available and also no change to the dirty towels so if you like a lot of clean towels then take you're own
