Reviews for Chrialdon House

Review 1:Nothing, all first class.

Review 2:Absolutely every aspect of the facility. We were very well looked after, and allocated a lovely big bedroom that was very impressive to say the least.

Review 3:Faster wifi would be nice.

Review 4:Just love this place! Wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed in room number one, which was very spacious and had a nice few out across the backyard and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast included the typical selection of bacon, sausages, eggs, tomatoes, first fruit, cereal, etc. Isobel was a very warm and accommodating hostess!

Review 5:We stayed in the Deluxe Double bedroom and it was delightful. The room is massive, with a lovely decoration, a good bathroom, and a very comfy bed. The chairs by window provide a great space to relax and read before heading to bed. The whole house is gorgeous with an extreme attention to detail. The hostess is lovely and very attentive.

Review 6:Isobel and Iain have created a perfect retreat set within the beautiful village of Beauty. The House exceeded every expectation that my wife and I had for our stay. The room was immaculate, the bed was more comfortable than home, the breakfast was wonderfully made to order. If you want to visit Inverness and stay outside f town, then you must stay at Chrialdon House.

Review 7:The only thing I can say that I didnt like was as we were in the downstairs bedroom it was a little noisy when people were coming down for early breakfast. It was enough to wake me up and not get back to sleep, but tbh it would not stop me from staying there again and I still give it 10/10 overall!!

Review 8:Amazing attention to detail! Very Friendly staff! Great food! Comfortable beds!

Review 9:I liked the little extras like disposable slippers, cut flowers in your room and even though I could not take advantage of them being dairy intolerant, bowls of sweets and packs of biscuits left with the tea and coffee. And because I cant have milk I was left earl grey tea bags as well as the breakfast ones.

Review 10:I stayed in 7 different B & B's during my trip to Scotland, and this one, without a doubt was my favorite. Absolutely stunning house, and the hostess and hospitality to match!

Review 11:There was nothing not to like!

Review 12:Isobel makes you feel so welcome. She needs you at the door and helps you with your luggage. The room was more like a hotel suite; it was very spacious and comfortable. Isobel had little extra touches such as dressing gowns, slippers and hot water bottles that made all the difference! We would highly recommend you stay here if you can get a room!

Review 13:I booked a deluxe room for single use. however. the room had been double booked. despite booking.com confirming my booking. I was given a standard room. The owner was very apologetic but blamed booking.com for the mix up and gave me a £ 20.00 reduction

Review 14:Convenient location

Review 15:There is nothing I didn't like! Best Guest House I have ever stayed in.

Review 16:I liked everything about my stay - Isobel is a wonderful, welcoming hostess and Chrialdon House itself is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable with a relaxing atmosphere (and a homely guests' lounge with a woodburning stove). Our rooms were immaculate, well-maintained, and attended to every day; and the breakfasts were prompt and abundant (with a vegetarian option). The location of the house is very convenient, with plenty free parking. Highly recommended!

Review 17:Signal for wi-fi was sometimes low and faded away.

Review 18:Amazing house, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast. We would give this stay a thousand stars! Simply loved it.

Review 19:We were very impressed by the care and attention to detail that was put in the house. Furnishings, decor and even the breakfast cutlery and crockery were all carefully chosen and gave us the impression of living in a grand old mansion.

Review 20:Lovely big bedroom and bathroom. Lot's of selection for breakfast, which was very good. Use of the cozy living room with glowing fireplace. Beautifully decorated home. Isobel is friendly, interesting and so helpful.

Review 21:Couldn't complain about anything!

Review 22:The staff were lovely! Very friendly and very helpful! The house itself was absolutely beautiful! So much character and charm! I loved absolutely everything about the place! Breakfast was delicious, the beds were super comfortable and even included a dressing gown and slippers. Modern en-suite with good shower. This place provided everything you could think of. Best place I've stayed at.

Review 23:Nothing, it was completely lovely and I wish I could have stayed for longer.

Review 24:This was an amazing place and the bedroom was huge. The bed was enormous and there was nothing I could fault. The little touches were lovely and the hostess was a fantastic mix of friendly and professional.

Review 25:Isabel was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Coming out of the cold from a long day outdoors to a big burning fire in their lounge and dining space was lovely. Breakfast done to order and all very nicely done.

Review 26:How welcome we were made to feel. We were greeted as we drove up and before we even stepped into the B&B. Throughout our stay our hosts were willing to visit and make sure we were feeling welcome in their home. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Review 27:Nothing

Review 28:The welcome is very warm and nothing is too much trouble. The building is full of character and the room perfect (and with a wonderfully powerful shower in the en-suite). The facilities in the village are a short stroll away. A great breakfast to set you up for the day and a far more pleasant experience than the chain hotels.

Review 29:There were no Wifi in the room but as you are in the middle of nature and nice small villages maybe that's a very good thing? Just read a book or talk to other people, in real.

Review 30:The location, nature, room, restaurant and staff was excellent. What a nice stay, would have wanted to stay many nights but had time only for one...

Review 31:Nothing at all

Review 36:Bed was too soft, but good to live with.

Review 37:The House is wonderfull...outside and specially inside. Furniture is so nice and friendly. Also the host is friendly. We had a great welcome. Breakfast is great. You can choose in the afternoon what kind of breakfast you want to have and you have a plenty of choise...fruits, cerials, English Breakfast and only parts of it. Additional you can choose the time of serving the breakfast. The Chrialdon House is a wonderful accomodation in the area of Loch Ness.

Review 38:Probably the best B&B we stayed at during our week long round trip in Scotland. Very spacious and nicely renovated twin bedroom with all amenities you could wish for; Isobel is an outstanding house who made us feel very welcome

Review 39:The breakfast filter coffee could have been a bit stronger.

Review 40:Isobel made us feel welcome and at home. The house is beautiful and spacious with generous supplies of refreshments. Breakfast was plentiful and served on lovely china. The village of Beauly is close with an ancient priory to explore. We visted Glen Ord distillery and Rogie falls nearby. Which werecwell worth seeing.

Review 41:Beautiful house, room excellent. Lovely owners who went out of their way to make us welcome, even giving us the use of their back garden to sit in the sun. Came in one evening & Isabel even made us all coffee & biscuits.

Review 92:Wow, what a nice play to stay! Feels like home. We got a full breakfast even though we had to leave early.

Review 93:The room was rather small for us and quite warm. To be fair, the latter reflects our "taste" in climate control....being from the American South we tend to keep our rooms around 20-21 degrees, which locals might find chilling.

Review 94:I really liked the owner/operator who was very helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed the location in Beauly very much.

Review 95:Loved everything.

Review 96:Everything. Friendly staff, Beautiful spacious room with nice touches - sweets as well as real coffee bag and tea. The breakfast was superb with everything you could possibly want.

Review 98:Very clean, comfortable room with good wi-fi connection. We arrived late and were looked after well.

Review 99:Nothing, couldn't fault anything.

Review 100:The Chrialdon was a very high quality in every way. I have stayed in many guest houses in Scotland and this stood out as the best, a real find.
