Reviews for Trewern Arms Hotel
Review 1:Very kind hosts. Great bacon at breakfast! Plenty of space in our room. An old bathroom but spotlessly clean. Beautiful and peaceful location. Good value for money.
Review 2:We had dinner in the restaurant, I hated the peas which were like bullets and the carrots which were very dry!
Review 3:The location was perfect for our business trip, the bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and the staff very helpful and friendly
Review 4:Flooding of shower is the only complaint
Review 5:Location and staff were awesome... Food and drinks were great... Defo Goin back... Hope ur honey moon is as awesome as the nite stay we had ?
Review 6:The facilities were a little dated - the shower for example, only just fitted the description! Otherwise we had a good stay if only for one night .
Review 7:Good location for our cycle ride on Sustrans Route 82! A comfortable room and bed
Review 8:Bathroom a little dated but fine.
Review 9:Beautiful location with lots of interesting places to visit nearby. Extremely friendly and hospitable hosts and charming bar & restaurant. Food great including breakfast. Room was basic but clean & comfortable. We will return as excellent base for exploring West Wales.
Review 10:Rooms a bit dated, carpet in the bathroom.
Review 11:Loved staying here; quaint little village, classic traveller's inn. Felt like I could have been 200 years back in time. Food was very good. Lots of interesting history in the area. If ever back in Wales I would definitely be back here for a few days.
Review 12:Limited menu
Review 13:Friendly staff and large comfortable room. It would be nice to have had biscuits on the hospitality, tray but beautiful large towels were provided.
Review 14:The facilities are clean and well maintained but are tired and need some modernisation.
Review 15:Lovely old pub in pretty location with friendly and helpful staff. We had a triple room for just the two of us - which also meant we had lots of space.
Review 16:This was our second stay at The trewern Arms in Nevern and we greatly enjoyed it. The staff are all lovely and helpful and the room was very comfortable. all being well we would hope to come back next year for a third stay.
Review 17:There is only one hotel and restaurant in the town, therefore, we do not have choice for dinner and breakfast. I ordered stake which costed me 15 pounds for dinner on the first day arrived. However, it was really awful. Breakfast was all right, but 9 pounds for one was very expensive. So for the rest of stay, we went to Newport which was 5 minutes drive for breakfast and dinner. We could not sleep well, because someone or something knocked the heater at 6am every morning. The bed was not comfortable, and the wardrobe was wiggling. The staffs was not very friendly.
Review 18:The hotel is located in a nice place.
Review 19:The breakfast is bed, burn croissant for 2 days. The full English is very small for the price and the chef deep fried the sausage and the bacon, and the tomato was raw. This things is disappoint us.
Review 20:Very nice and friendly people , nice area .
Review 21:As we travelled with older children the family room was excellent as it gave them their own space. We ate there for 3 out of the 5 nights we stayed and the service and food was excellent. We loved the location and the room was very clean. the added bonus of the wifi for our teenage children was great.
Review 22:Lukewarm welcome, redeemed by one staff member, very dated with lack of attention to detail. Eg dangling extension leads in bar and showers that were worn out.
Review 23:Location,
Review 24:unloved, sad, stuck in the 80s with young staff (except for one lad) who really didn't seem to know or care what they were doing. Came back one evening to find a cleaning sponge in the sink- only sign that anyone had been in there. Floor filthy, bin full, same towels, total lack of care.
Review 25:Sweet location.
Review 26:Room was not ready on our arrival @ 6pm & we had to wait half-hour to gain access! Breakfast was too expensive. So, ate locally, for half the price! Show was very small
