Reviews for Molivos View Studios

Review 1:Nothing to dislike

Review 2:very kind and helpful landlord - thank you, Menie, for your hospitality fantastic view on the village of Molivos and its castle you can walk to Molivos

Review 3:The owners were friendly and helpful. The property was close enough to the centre of Molivos to be able to enjoy restaurants etc. and far away enough to enjoy peace and quiet.

Review 4:Owner Menie is so lovely. she helped us for any questions we had and provided recommendations for a better vacation in Molivos. I strongly recommend this studios to everyone visiting Molivos. Thank you again Menie!

Review 5:The road into town can be a little dangerous to walk at night. Most visitors will probably rent a car or moped. A bike is also possible, but lights or extra caution are also needed. The apartment and view are great! However, when a young couple with an unhappy infant moved in next door, I found myself getting out as much as possible (whereas this place would seem to lend itself to slow mornings lingering on the balcony). The point is that the rooms/balconies are close and not super noise-proof.

Review 6:Fantastic view, friendly hosts, nice studio apartment!

Review 7:We had a great time with the help of hotel owner Menie and her families hospitality. Room had a great view. Evert night after visiting islands spectacular places we enjoyed the fabulous flower scent at the balcony out of the Olive tree garden.

Review 8:Nothing

Review 9:Very good value for money. Very hospitable and great view!! A particularly good choice for those with a car, as it's a bit of a walk into town.

Review 10:Nothing to dislike.

Review 11:Great place to be at. I had my breakfast with the great view of Molyvos Castle. Easy acces to everything. Very friendly people on premises.

Review 12:It is a bit far from the entrance of the town on foot. But if you have car, it is no problem.

Review 13:The place is quite, peaceful and relaxing. You can have a good sleep at night. The balcony has an amazing view of the bay and castle. There are also olive trees in the garden. You can have breakfast with this beautiful view and fresh air. The host is very welcoming and friendly.

Review 14:everything was amazing

Review 15:the landlady was so lovely, she made our life so easy that the only thing we must was sit and enjoy this amazing old city of molivos.. i hope that one day we can come back and have some time in the molivos view again. if you want to rest in the olive tress with the relaxing sound of crickets, yet be so close to the molivos, if you wan't to have your breakfeast to the best view of molivos, don't even think twice :)

Review 16:This is a dated and basic block of apartments and is not as clean as it could be - especially the bathrooms, which really need modernising with new showers and fittings.

Review 17:Fabulous view, quiet location, pleasant walk into the historic town.

Review 18:Good sized, clean studio with amazing view of Molyvos. Very convienent if you have a car, or only 20 minute walk to central Molyvos. Good wi-fi & washing machine in studio.

Review 19:all was perfect

Review 20:We were pleasently surprised about the location and the fantastic view Our room no 1 had 2 windows with balconis one with the view to Molivos Castle and the other to a garden full with olive trees The place is restful . We had a rented car but I think you can walk to the city by foot may be 20 minutes. I will never forget the mornings when we took our breakfast at olive trees shadow.

Review 21:the grounds could have been more manicured.

Review 22:the view from the balconey was second to none, with the view of the town wrapping around the large steep hill crowned by a very old castle.

Review 23:We liked being in a more rural location yet close enough to the town for easy access to eating and shopping. Without a car it is a walkable distance.

Review 24:The room was spacious, airy and comfortable. There was even a small bathtub (unusual in Greece)! The balcony gave an excellent view of Molivos. Meni, who with her husband owns Molivos View Studios, is extremely charming and went out of her way to be extraordinarily helpful - to the extent of volunteering a solution for a difficult travel problem we faced after leaving Molivos View Studios. In fact, the distance from Molivos itself is a plus in terms of tranquillity, but it does mean a 15-minute walk to get into town and an occasional taxi late at night if you're tired (that is, if you haven't hired a car in the first place). Highly recommended.

Review 25:Cookware could do with a refresh- pan was warped and it was a bit awkward to cook with the hot plate having one temp setting for both burners, but these are little niggles and the only reason we cooked at home in the first instance was because we wanted a sunset dinner with our wonderful balcony view. All washing up and cooking equipment you really need was provided.

Review 26:A well-loved, clean, and beautiful hotel run by a young family. After a long trip from London via flight, ferry, and car, we were greeted by the lovely owner and her young son at the hottest part of the afternoon. We were led inside our very large, cool, clean studio and shown our incredible castle view from our private balcony "welcome to your Molivos View." Room was huge and very clean. We regrettably only stayed for two nights but despite this, our room was cleaned on our second day, and everything refreshed. We left a couple of plates in the sink from breakfast (planning to wash ourselves) and even they were cleaned for us. Location was great for us. Quiet, peaceful, idyllic. We booked this property for the view, the good reviews and the value for money. If you want a place right in the thick of the cobbled streets, night-life and villagers, this might not be for you, but then, you don't get the spectacular castle view inside the town. There is lots of parking right on the main street into town and the drive from the hotel took two minutes. We always found parking. Walking takes about 15 min. We found this very convenient and had no regrets coming back to our tranquil setting in our big breezy room among olive trees at Molivos View. We travelled all over the island and Molivos was our favourite town for shopping, eating and sightseeing. Just gorgeous.

Review 27:Exceptionally kind and helpful owner. Gorgeous location - beautifully peaceful and best ever view of Molyvos by night. A 10-15 minute walk from town or beach, so close to everything but without the noise. I could have stayed a month - am working on how to arrange that!

Review 28:Only the bed was a bit hard.

Review 29:A amazing place because of great apartment with the beautiful view on the castle, the sea and the olive trees. The owner was really nice and our room was cleaned every day. The walk to the village is about 20-25 minutes en to the harber about 40-45 minutes. This was no problem for us.

Review 30:We were 4 adults and we got 2 rooms at the upper level: the view is fantastic! The location among the olive trees is charming and peaceful. The owner was nice giving us tips on places to go We had a car so going to Molivos was only a couple of minutes but walking is ~10 minutes (and it's 2 km from the apt to the port a bit farther)

Review 31:The location of the hotel is a bit far from the Molivos center, and we would have had some difficulty if we hadn't rented a car.

Review 32:Our room was very clean and spacious. We had the view of the Molivos Castle from our balcony, with olive trees around. The room was equipped with everything we needed. Over all we very much enjoyed our stay!

Review 33:Quite a long walk in to Molyvos town especially at night when road was dark However if you have a car it was only a few minutes drive to a large car park on the edge of the town

Review 34:Very quiet comfortable room with two balconies and wonderful views Rooms kept exceptionally clean

Review 35:Location was fantastic, enjoyed the view of the well-lit castle with some wine! Molyvos is the most beautiful village on the island, also worth a visit is Sykaminia up north. Would definitely recommend!

Review 36:Nothing to say

Review 37:The accurancy of any detail, the amability if Meni, the young owner, and the wonderful location in a olive tree countryside close to Molyvos village.

Review 51:Views & cleanliness, service great, very nice & helpful owners

Review 52:Room had everything you would need-fridge, oven, utensils etc. along with a fabulous view . The owner Meni was incredibly gracious and hospitable.

Review 53:wifi was a bit weak in the room

Review 54:all in all a lovely stay, i would defiantly go again!

Review 55:Super clean, friendly and helpful staff, great WiFi, close to everything.

Review 56:Everything...

Review 57:The room had everything we needed. Very comfortable, clean, kitchen available, great view from our studio. It is a wonderful place.

Review 58:On the road to Molivos, we would have missed it if it wasn't for the GPS coordinates.

Review 59:Beautiful view from the balcony

Review 60:menie the owner was vey nice and helpful: this is key for an enjoyable stay view over Molyvos great room very clean tea making facility/ fridge

Review 61:What was there not to like? The location was peaceful and natural with stunning views. it might have been a little more difficult had we not had a car as walking is not as easy these days and though the beach is accessible it might be tiring to walk to the town of an evening and return after a meal out.

Review 62:This was one of the best studios that we have ever stayed in. It had been thoughtfully and tastefully equipped, spotless, represented the best value for money by far and then on top of that the owner was a delight and nothing was too much trouble....not that we caused any I hope. Very professional.

Review 63:Internet connection very poor in the first week, but improved by our 2nd week there.

Review 64:Has to be the best/prettiest views of Molyvos Fortress & Town! Very clean (daily cleaning service). We stayed for 2 wks - even though Molyvos is at the north end of the island, it still was a great base to visit the rest of the island. The owner - Menie was lovely and very helpful.

Review 65:nothing!

Review 66:The room and views were exceptional, the balcony looked on to the town and castle, when lit at night was magical. we loved the resort. beach and the resteraunts had good food at good prices, we will definatley be back!!!

Review 67:Matress may be more comfortable, it was a bit so hard.

Review 68:breathtaking view of molyvos castle, very spacious room, full and functional kitchenette, hospitality of hotel owner lady (thanks Meni!)

Review 69:First of all the very kind owner Ms.Meni's hospitability. It was a very clean and good decorated room with amazing Molivos castle view among olive trees. Not too far to the Molivos' costline by foot. The vicinity is very quiet, and there is a supermarket very near.
