Reviews for La Seigneurie de Naves

Review 1:Breakfast was a bit poor....for the money we paid I would have expected at least the possibility to have also eggs for breakfast.

Review 2:The owners were very helpfull and friendly. Location was really nice

Review 3:Liked the luxurious accommodation and the fact that eating places were within reasonable walking distance for evening meal. Very welcoming hosts, excellent breakfast and tea/coffee available in room on arrival.

Review 4:Breakfast had very good produce but the replenicing took too long and was too little at a time. Could not pay with creditcard (was not mentioned until paymenttime)

Review 5:Beautiful restored house and rooms located in nice quiet Village.

Review 6:At the peak of summer, rooms can get warm, and a fan in the room would be helpful.

Review 7:Les Naves is a super cute village, and a short drive from Les Vans with lots of places to eat out. Our room was very big and so was the bed. The pool was very welcome to freshen up on a hot day.

Review 8:Beautiful building in a beautiful "village of character". Lovely decor and atmospheric surroundings. Good walking nearby and a short drive to the nearest town. A good base for exploring the area. Lovely hosts.

Review 9:Very difficult to locate and not on the GPS that we tried using. It was off season so the very few facilities there were mostly not open.

Review 10:Atmosphere of the inn and charm of the village plus the warmth of our hosts made it a very memorable stay.

Review 11:There was nothing not to like.

Review 12:the location and hotel were second to none, Fenola's english was really good and she was helpful with information when needed. Would definately stay again. The whole area is beautiful. The breakfast was eaten in a lovely setting.

Review 16:The hotel only served breakfast no other good.

Review 17:Lovely pool. Lovely setting. Cute breakfast. Gorgeous bed in a beautiful room.

Review 18:it is hard to find but we called the hotel and he came to search us to the town.

Review 19:Extremly romantic and super cute.

Review 20:Would have liked a wider variety for breakfast - some cheese and ham?

Review 21:We loved the setting, the building, the room, Franck and his wife were the perfect hosts, the cider!, the room, the swimming pool - we loved all of it. would highly recommend the evening meals too

Review 22:Breakfast is yogurt, croissant, orange juice which may be adequate for most. I would have preferred some fresh fruit but this is a small detail.

Review 23:The setting is like a fairytale! The innkeeper, Frank, was a wonderful resource and chef! The room was very large, pool magnificent, dinners excellent. The town of Les Vans is charming and the market on Saturday is great. Frank gave us a great itinerary to see the gorge.....stunning!

Review 24:Toilet in the bedroom, by partition only.

Review 25:Wifi in room, also hot drink facility, swimming pool, adequate breakfast. Easy parking nearby. Dinner available if required.

Review 26:Can't think of anything we didn't like.

Review 27:Loved Franc (owner) and his hospitality. He was very helpful recommending day trips and spoke English! Dinner's were very good and reasonably priced. The facilities (room, pool area, eating area) very clean and comfortable. We thought it was a good value too. We will recommend to others.

Review 28:We wanted to have very romantic evening. When we wanted to fill the bathtub with water, the hot water was over the middle of the bath. We were not able to take a shower. Bad toilet door also.

Review 29:The bed- and the bathroom are fantastic! We stayed at the one at thelower level in the vault! The room was really huge. The well placedfurniture fits good to the stone walls. The whole accommodation lookedlike a picture of a homes & garden magazine: vintage bathtube andbasin but with a rain-dop-shower, black-and-white-tiles, lots of booksin a bookcase. It was like staying in a castle (burg). The owner arevery friendly and can speak perfectly English! He knows good places togo at the Ardeche! There is also a swimming pool but we didn't had achance to see it due to the weather If you decide to stay there youhave to be aware that you will live in a mediveal small town: So thecar need to be parked outside cause the streets are too narrow! To seethe town is a must! If you walk there, a cat might follow you! ;) It"guided" us through the city! There are great views, olive trees, anfractuous roads ...For breakfast you will get continental food: bread, croissants sweet stuff jam, butter, coffee, cocoa, tea!

Review 30:there was no airconditioning in a room. since room was in the first floor and window was rather a "glass door" than a window (which was beatifull), it didn't feel like keeping it open during the night. So room was fairly warm.

Review 31:very beautiful traditional french style hotel (B&B) with roughly 10 rooms. Naves is small beatifull village, so no traffic noise to room. dinner and breakfast where good, host spoke good enlish and nicely entertained guests.

Review 32:The village where hotel is, is just so small and lovely. Also staff was friendly and kind.

Review 33:Dinner could have been of better quality
