Review 1：One of the best hotels I've visited in Greece. The staff were very helpful, the breakfast was fantastic and it was absolutely worth upgrading to the sea view. A lovely, relaxing visit.

Review 2：Very expensive room service, eg €4 for a small amount of tea. We would have expected a kettle and tea bags in the room.

Review 4：Only minor things: The beds have a plastic backing which isn't very pleasant to sleep on when it's hot. it would be helpful if reception staff were able to tell visitors more about the area. Pool staff reserved prime spots by the pool for local residents who often didnt turn up.

Review 6：We had a problem with booking. After booking the room on booking.com, hotel took from our credit card money that was on the web site. Just two hours later they took additional 133 Euros with no explanation. After our reaction and the reaction from the booking.com they refunded 132 Euros. Breakfast was always the same each day. There is a small beach in front of the hotel but you have a better choice if you go away from Volos. Milopotamos beach for example. Overall, to expensive for what they offer.

Review 16：The hotel is a modern 4-star property with all the facilities this entails: a well-apointed spa, conference rooms, free wifi and a large swimming pool. It is located right next to a small private beach, fairly close to the commercial centre of the town. The rooms are large, bright, spotlessly clean, with big windows and contemporary furnishings. The bathroom is also quite large, clean and well-appointed. The staff is very kind and helpful and they gave us a lot of tips on what to do, where to go and what to see in and around Volos. All in all, it complies with the international standards of any business hotel and it is one of the best options for accommodation in Volos.

Review 23：The beach is small and not so clean. It does not belong to the hotel itself and there were no sunbeds. The showers were not working.

Review 24：The location and the view of the hotel is excellent. The design of the hotel and room was great. The food is nice and gourmet. There are also nice restaurants and cafes outside the hotel (in a walking distance). Staff was friendly. Very big and free parking space.

Review 25：The location of the Xenia Volou is good. It is right on the sea front with a public beach out front. It is lovely to hear the waves from the room(facing the beach) and the view is superb. Xenia also has a great swimming pool. If you like spas and massage this is the place for you! Very pampering! You will have a relaxing time and the staff are very helpful and kind.

Review 74：Very noisy...Sea view rooms facing the back yard, close to the beach...saturday and sunday were full of families, maaaaaany babies and children shouting...could not have the balcony door open...only after 18:00 was getting calm and quiet...imagine, if you wanna watch some TV with open windows, no way..better to have a family with children to prefer this hotel...also, mini bar a bit overprized...

Review 87：Without appearing to criticise, I so not think you can have one memberof staff as an 'expert' in all aspects in the spa. I wanted amanicure, pedicure, hair and waxing done...I Ended up having to'choose' what I wanted most - a pedicure and hair. Whilst thepedicure was average..the hair was barely that...I Paid the same moneyin town the same day to have it redone. You need a dedicated stylist inthe hotel. We have them in Cyorus and it is my job to visit the 5 starhotels here to assess them for a well know travel magazine.
