Review 1：Have stayed here a couple of times. Quite like the hotel, rooms are good size and reasonably comfortable. Hotel is let down by lack of maintenance; e.g. one room couldn't turn heating off; another room couldn't turn it on; TV's don't work or the buttons need new batteries; no plugs in the bath etc. With a little attention to detail and better maintenance could be so much better.

Review 2：Location on the harbour front, very convenient for all restaurants, cafes, bars and the main shopping area. Popular cafe/bar on top floor with great views.

Review 3：The wifi was weak, but Nikki sorted all out and it got better.Breakfast - not much of a variety and even the omelet was cold...

Review 9：In the bathroom there was no shower curtain, no shower head holder on the wall and no electricity plug to shave. However our other friends staying at the same hotel had the shower curtain and had the shower head holder! So it must have been an exception for us.

Review 13：The hotel is not visible when driving. There is no parking nearby so you cannot stop and search. The hotel said parking available. Was expecting to park adjacent to hotel. Parked illegally on the street 500 meters from hotel. Walked there with my bags. Was told at check in that parking is available only inside the port parking area and there is a fee.

Review 15：Excellent position, had a corner rooms with both sides looking to the sea. Volos has a wide quay, no traffic allowed, with great places to eat. The whole city is very pedestrian friendly. Enjoyed it in November, not sure about the beaches in summer, but winter is great.

Review 16：Room very hot only able to cool it by opening balcony doors so then had the noise! Air con not on!. Bathroom very small for normal size people.

Review 20：Very run down fir the price. Poorly maintained, ripped sheets, mould in the bathroom, loose hand rails on stairs, stuffy rooms and air con turned off for the winter. Breakfast less than adequate. Generally poor and not as advertised.

Review 21：The lack of a bathtub or a chamber in the shower resulting in the water overflowing, the lack of a table and a chair in the balcony, plus the poor breakfast, all of which don't correspond in any way to the extremely high accommodation prices!

Review 22：The privileged location at the bay of Volos, the fantastic view from most of the rooms, the cleanness as well as the very good air-conditioning! The furniture was all new and in a very good condition.

Review 23：A lovely hotel, ideally located in the centre of Volos (the rooms have an amazing view of the harbour and the main promenade, and it only takes 3 mins to walk to the famous tsipouradika of the town). Breakfast was very good, the staff friendly, and the facilities excellent.

Review 30：The system operating the closure for windows is broken in the 2 bedrooms we stayed in . The result is that noises from the port promenade and wind are not complertely stopped . Breakfast quality must be improved

Review 31：The rooms are clean, and simple, but looking a little tired. The furniture (bedside table, mirror etc) had a few chips here and there (not major but showing signs of age). The bathroom in my room didn't have a shower on the wall, although there was signs that a shower screen had previously been present.

Review 32：The hotel was in a good location on the waterfront of Volos, with a view looking out over the port. Unless you are planning to spend a great amount of time in the hotel (with many fantastic bars, restaurants, beaches so close why would you!?) this hotel is great for a short trip due to it's location.

Review 34：The lokation is perfekt if going to take a ferry to the many islands.It´s also direct in citycenter if you want to do some shopping. Werynice beds, balkony overlooking the harbour and a good breakfast.

Review 35：This hotel was in a perfect place right next to the marina at Volos. It was also very close to the port. My room was very elegantly furnished and looked like it had just been refurbished. The hotel bar was very pretty as well. The staff was very helpful, as they helped me plan my way via ferry and bus all the way to Corfu. I would recommend this hotel to EVERYONE!

Review 73：We asked for tips on what to do in Volos. We got the answer: "There is nothing to do in Volos". And we didn´t find anything to do. It was just extremely hot. But we just stayed one night on our way home after a lovely week at beautiful Skiathos.

Good break fast, specially I liked the jams which seemed to be homemade and were very tasty. Very nice and polite staff with high skill of English.

Review 79：-Air-co was not working -Bathroom was not vented so it smelled not sofresh. When taking two showers in a row, the bathroom floor was wettrough. -Breakfast was more oriented to Greeks. We did not likeeverything (personal taste) and would have liked more kinds of bread.Coffee was also not good. The tea assortment was very large tough.

Review 85：The staff didn't show to take care for customers requests, or at least to show that they are trying to. 2 examples: Asking for a glass (there was none in the room) the receptionist replied to go myself and take it from the bar ! ! ! The hotel refused to give a (even symbolic) discount, or to change our 3-bed room with a 2 bed room (we have reserved for 3, but one canceled last minute) with the excuse that there were not available rooms with 2-bed (lie, the hotel was half empty).

Review 86：The hotel has a great waterfront location amongst most of the restaurants in the city. It is close to the port for ferries to the Islands (Skiathos and Skopelos) and also close to the bus station for services to the airport (EUR 5 each way compared to EUR 45 for a taxi) and other Greek cities. The staff in the hotel are friendly and efficient. Plus, there is a great buffet breakfast included in the room rate and complementary refreshments in the minibar. All in all, the hotel is a great place to stay in Volos.

Review 88：Hotel Kipseli is at the central marine of Volos, nearby the shoppingcenter and it values the money. Hotspot the roof garden... It's a superchoice for visiting "temporarily".

Review 90：The hotel is centrally located and is close to the bus station and Hertz car rental which was perfect for our transfer to the Pelion region. We had a sea view room with a balcony which overlooked the new promenade and harbour. We arrived late and the hotel went out of their way to be helpful and provide us with food.

We were eventually moved toanother room but only after being made to wait afew hours.
