Reviews for Willow Tree Cottages

Review 1:Broken glass in window in bathroom so wind blew through making it noisy and a bit drafty. But, it was incredibly windy during our stay

Review 2:Fantastic shower! Comfy beds. Lovely breakfast. Free wifi and parking

Review 3:I was on business and Willow Tree Cottages was ideal for me. Very friendly and helpful. Flexible on breakfast times which was great because I needed to make an early start. If I'm working in this area again I will be back!

Review 4:It is a drive to somewhere for an evening meal or a supermarket

Review 5:The room and cottage grounds were lovely. It was nice to have a friendly chat at breakfast, and variety for breakfast was nice.

Review 6:Room was basic with only a skylight for natural light. It was functional and clean though so no real issues.

Review 7:Good location for a friends birthday in a near by village. Clean, comfortable and just what we needed for a 1 night stay. A good breakfast in the morning before heading off into the City of Lincoln.

Review 8:I was unable to connect with my laptop to the internet with the wifi

Review 9:Staff were very helpful. Nothing was too much for them. Breakfast was excellent.

Review 10:The only place to eat is at the pub next door but it is shut on Mondays. Wifi only works on the courtyard outside the rooms.

Review 11:Comfortable rooms. Good food and micro brewery at pub next door when open.

Review 12:The only place for meals was the pub next door. We did not know (having arrived fairly late in the day) that we were supposed to book a table for dinner, so were not able to have dinner there, and had to drive some miles to find another restaurant. Also had a problem that the WiFi didn't work in the rooms, and our own WiFi also didn't work - something to do with the insulation.

Review 13:The owner was very pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable.

Review 14:Wifi not available in room, was a bit far away from local transport links but that was my own fault for not checking location properly

Review 15:Staff very welcoming and helpful

Review 16:Breakfast ended at 9 am, we would have liked a little later.

Review 17:Lovely village surroundings. All ground floor rooms, ideal for my disabled mum. Large bathroom with super shower. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast but could have done with top up coffee, tea and toast.

Review 18:Fantastic, idyllic location. First class breakfast. Very comfortable room with an outstanding country pub next door. Lovely people. Wish I could stay in this calibre of place every week.

Review 19:bed a little too firm for me, breakfast was ok.

Review 20:small number of rooms, very private, good location to pub (next door). staff very good, we required a very early breakfast.

Review 21:When booking through Booking.Com I entered "2" people on the search. When it went to the Cottages the price etc I received was apparently for 1 person (I did wonder when it asked about the breakfast). I'm not sure whether this is a problem with Booking.com or with the Cottages website. However, you may wish to double check before you go.

Review 22:They were very accommodating when myself and my partner were late due to problems with our transport. We received a friendly welcome and had a fantastic meal in the pub next door.

Review 23:Bit bright in our room until the outside light went off, but otherwise fine and comfortable. Mobile phone signal not great.
