Review 1：pool was a little small for the amount of guests...that's it!

Review 2：Very friendly staff and fantastic home made food with something different every night. Very peacefull, large and comfortable rooms with plenty of relaxing space inside and out. Local restaurants were also fantastic!

Review 3：Room without airconditioning. There was one window, and even when it was always open, it stayed very hot in the room. Thankfully there was a fan... No lunch possibility (reception closed from 1 - 3)

Review 5：Do not go here if you are allergic to wasps, the pool area is so full of them it's crazy, for me who has fobia the pool was useless. Apparently they've also had scorpions in the resort so look out... They also do not have AC in the room, only a tiny fan in 40 degrees. But worse was that the owners were not very nice. They made it clear that they do not like young guests, no matter who they are or how they act (we are very calm). Their lack of hospitality towards us showed time and again, things like not letting us play cards in the garden after 23h, again quietly, but instead they let the timer shut all the lights off. When we arrived early for check in and asked if it might be possible to check in early, the owner laughed us in the face! I couldn't believe it. Instead of offering us to store our bags and go for a swim while waiting he had a good laugh at us "stupid" guests... There is nicer places in the area, I am sure.

Review 6：The staff except the owners were nice. The garden and house is pretty. It's close to a cute town and the river. It's clean and the location is nice.

Review 7：What an amazing hotel. We enjoyed our stay here immensely. Excellent and friendly staff end great facilities. A clean and well organized hotel. The location is in the heart of the Ardeche withany sights to see within easy driving distance. All in all a great experience!

Review 9：The hotel has an interesting history and has been sensitively refurbished. Dinner was excellent food with local themes which we enjoyed very much. The staff were very welcoming and helpful- we enjoyed our visit very much

Review 10：The pool was heated which is ok but not at those hot days. it has nothing to do with the hotel, but we found the village itself a little bit of a disappointment. Perhaps since we were late in the season but there was little to nothing to do or see.

Review 11：We had a large and clean room. The room had a very good atmosphere. In our reservation we asked for a certain room based on the pictures and this was also granted, so good customer service. We stayed 6 days and had dinner in both the restaurant as well as several restaurants in the area. Our conclusion is we,d better stay in the hotel for the food. It is an excellent dinner and very good value for money. There is a lot to do in the area, i would certainly recommend a canoe trip ( discount voucher @reception) and/or a simple stay at mazet plage for a dive. Further, the hotel is nice and calm during the day if you want to have a good rest.

Review 17：After spending 3 days charging about Carcassonne,we wanted peace and quiet,we got both here.Food was very good,both breakfast,a huge selection and evening meals were good value for money and tasty.Family run hotel,staff all very pleasant,would book again.

Review 18：but it was anything but - with the owners/stroke managers prowling. 1st there was the dinner we had to decide on immediately when we arrived, wet and bedraggled after a 100 mile bike ride - as the table was otherwise booked... only there were obviously free tables when we ate?? - for what was an overpriced, awful dining experience, with equally miserable looking hotel guests - to the no swimming policy in the lovely pool before 10am (anytime I suspect), for fear of breaking the early morn silence. That is unless you were on the west side of the hotel, 200 metres from the main road, with every car roaring in your ears... After a 2nd request, a grudging 'yes, ok' was offered to swim with the cleaning robot, but by then the it didn't feel right. All in room and meal came to about 150 euros, with no swim for about a 12 hr visit. Avoid, unless you are actually quite poor and can't manage any better, but want to stay somewhere that flatters to deceive. Ben PS - and remember the lovely owner charges a full nights deposit up front, because he is so clever.
