Review 1：it would be handy if there was a shower in the main bathroom, as it can be inconvenient sharing an en suit in one bedroom. a dust would not go a miss, plus quieter upstairs neighbors ( we left a day early because upstairs were just too thumpy and noisy)

Review 3：Microwave overheated and nearly blew up, and toilets where blocked and leaked. I reported these straight away and the bloke says hed sort them straight away. Didnt dampen the mood at all though

Review 9：Some confusion with the apartment number on written email confirmation and then pre arrival confirmation differed. Though on getting keys clarified the correct apartment. The carpets were stained and soiled, needing cleaning. Bathroom sink and some Kitchen surfaces could have been cleaned better. There was only one T towel for the kitchen and I would have liked an additional one. The door to the second bedroom would not open properly, sticking to the carpet by very heavy fire door hinges. Needs attention. Kitchen hood and cupboards were greasy - just needed a soapy clean - though not anywhere near too dirty, was manageable. Doors were stiff inside flat due to fire door hinges. Bathroom door didn't lock.
Review 10：On arrival, the apartment was easy to access, keys immediately available through key pad locker. The apartment, very well set out with all main facilities was also comfortably warm. Great hot water - fast for all busy needs. Comfortable mattress to main suite bedroom. Second bed just ok. All linen was very clean and comfortable. All basic kitchen utensils and equipment available, so very satisfactory for a two night stay. Comfortable lay out of flat/apartment Would consider another stay.
Review 11：Booked and Payed for a Week yet Owners Violated our Private Space without Notice to get Hoover and Our Towles ? Bulbs kept Blowing so we Replaced Them Ourselfs as all very low Whatage and Very Dull Lampshades also Fell apart as very Old Paper Onces been up Years, Even Kitchen light Socket Fell Apart, Owners Even Admitted to Useing Cheap As Possible Goods ! Cleanliness was Not High on the Owners List Of Priorities Nor Value for Money Either, Not Realy a Very Comfortable Appartmend Needs Redecorating, Refurnishing and a Good Clean Throughout would Not go Amiss,
Review 12：Its a New Build in a Quiet part of the Town that still Managers to look very Run Down, Easy to Travel to and From via Good Road Network, Inconvenient for Town and Shops.

Review 15：Cleanliness left a lot to be desired- the walls need painting and the carpets/rugs were dirty. The communal area was also very dirty and littered with spilled chines takeaway/empty takeaway cartons and other rubbish Beds were not comfortable - just a thin sheet over the mattress, no matress protector or base cover which i find extremely unhygenic

Review 17：The proximity of the apartment to the club which was very noisy. Some residents were quite noisy so it was difficult to sleep.
Review 18：Steve was very good to deal with and he was able to answer our queries quickly. The apartment was well equipped and clean and we had a very comfortable stay.

Review 23：There was a fair amount of leftover food in the cupboards (sauces, tins etc). We assumed this was left by previous guests and available to use but some guidance on this would have been welcome (e.g. a notice saying please help yourselves to anything left in cupboards or a thorough clearing out). Otherwise no real bad points, in fact I brought excess luggage containing household items I thought I may need and unpacked hardly any of it. I liked the fact there was a washing machine but struugled to dry items - perhaps a clothes airer would be a good investment.
Review 24：I visited the area on holiday with my elderly parents and this was a good, if somewhat basic apartment to base ourselves in for day trips. Ideal if you need more flexibility that a hotel room gives. Kitchen has a good range of pots, knives and utensils. 2 double bedrooms with bedding and towels included, and 2 bathrooms - much better value that a hotel, particularly when travelling as a group.

Review 47：The noise! Could not get a wink of sleep-banging doors, children screaming and loud conversations. The bathroom did not have a shower and was only a basic bath, bed - o my god! Was really low and very small! Not comfortable At all and made noise when turning sides. The apartment was lesser than basic and was very disappointed.

Review 58：once inside the apartment block, it was unclear which way to go - we ended up going up all the stairs only to come back down and find a door to our numbered apartment through there.

No extra bed linen or towels 4. no basic small size toiletries 5. no instructions inside the apartment regarding garbage disposal 6. no cleaning service at all during the week i was there 7. no vacuum cleaner 8. no hairdryer etc. 9. Bedsheets had hole, 2 of the 4 towels provided were unusable A service apartment is one that has all facilities (including a cleaning schedule - especially if someone is staying a week) The owner should realise that not everyone wishes to take their "dirty laundry" home with them, however it does reduce his overall costs if there is no washing machine and he does not replace it!! As he stated himself he has renters from all over the world and therefore proper paid for facilities should be provided
Review 61：No shower gel and hand soap not in both bathrooms (we used both rooms, so resorted to washing up liquid- strange as kitchen was so well stocked) No email instructions received to access the key. I rang prior so luckily got some info over the phone from a lovely man but still took a while to access and find where key was stored Darlington wouldn't be my choice of stop over if I was on my own (selected as near to a meeting we were having) but nice villages nearby

Did not like the wooden frame around the bed in the main room because the matress sits inside the frame and we kept knocking ourselves on the edge. There were signs telling visitors to be quiet but most of the noise was from the flat above and next door!

Review 71：chipped cups (had to buy others): the fan didn't work in the en-suite: the heated towel rail didn't work in the bathroom, no fire blanket in the kitchen: no welcome pack (there were some instructions as to how things worked but several were missing): no instructions in case of a fire; had to buy a tea towel; There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke but think this drifted in from other apartments. The second bedroom had no drawers not really suitable for a double, heater was right behind bed so a fire hazard! There were only three of us but if four no easy chair for one of them. also you ssid apartment 11, letter from owner was 10!
Review 72：This is not a hotel so none of above apply. It was warm once the heaters had warmed up (except fot bathroom see below) comfortable furniture, comfortable beds & bedding, quiet.
Review 73：Relavively isolated from shops, the location is residential, this is not surprising as the flats are not serviced apartments, but are predominantly occupied by permanent residents. There was a general impression of wear and tare, however everything worked. If the party had been of four people, the apartment would have been rather crowded.
Review 74：The apartment was ideal for our (myself and daughter) visit to Darlington, its location, general layout and price was exactly what was required. The apartment was clean and spacious, more than adequate supply of cutlery, crockery and pots/pans.

We didn't use the 4 cups as they were left in a disgusting stateand 2 of them were chipped so we went to the nearby Asda to buy newones. We also had to clean the oven trays before we could use them.

Kids age 19yrs & 15yrs where impressed!!!Definetly book again. Highly recommend it. Shopping was grt. Asdasupermarket close by.
Review 84：Independence was paramount! The correspondence was top class, and allmy questions were answered rapidly and precisely. Appartment was tidyand modern.My kids asked 'Can we live here?' So couldn't have been that bad. Spacious enough to entertain the rest of my family without feeling cramped, and would definately recommend, as value for money in comparison to renting 2 rooms at a hotel is excellent. And no amount of money can account for security and peace of mind. Will definately be staying there again!
