The family-run Joainig's Hotel Garni in Pörtschach offers a private beach with deck chairs and sunshades right on the shore of Lake Wörth, only a few feet away. The restaurant has a conservatory and serves Carinthian specialities and Mediterranean cuisine.
Each of the spacious rooms has a balcony, flat-screen satellite TV, refrigerator, and bathroom. Breakfast can also be served to your room on request.
On arrival, guests are welcomed with a glass of prosecco and a bottle of mineral water in the room. On request, bathrobes and slippers, tea kettles, and baby monitors can be provided.
The Joainig features a spa area with a sauna, steam bath, and fitness room. A big children’s playground with many games and activities can be found in the garden. Child care is available on the playground during mealtimes in July and August.

Review 1：The hotel ha been renovated, so it is very modern, extremely clean and on a great location near the lake. Although we were there for the NYE's eve, the summer must be even more beautiful. The hotel has it's own beach, restaurant, a nice small bar and even a big playground for children. The stuff was very nice and helpful, so no wonder that the hotel is in the family for more then 100 years already. I definitely recommend the hotel for couples, families or everyone else.
