Review 1：One minor issue was when checking in, one of the staff seemed to have had a bad day. Rule 101 when dealing with customers is never communicate using sarcasm.

Review 2：Booked 3 bedroom cottage which had an old authentic feel to it. Place is clean and perfectly located for walking to the main sites. Pub bext door had great meals and drinks available.

Review 3：Fantastic little cottage with heaps of room! We were shocked at how big it was for the price. Very impressed and the location was great, right across from the Bendigo gold mine and old fashioned trams. Bendigo is a very pretty town with a lot of history .. Reminds me of a mini Melbourne

Review 5：The pool was great after a long day of travelling on a 40 degree day! Only $172 for a family room. Reception lady was wonderful - delivered us a microwave to use. Free Wi-Fi made for very happy teenagers!

I tried to give feedback about the disagree freezing our food, the clocks all set for the wrong time and the hot water cutting out right through my shower and she got upset saying i should have said something sooner (sooner was xmas day i had better things to do than move rooms) she handled it so badly. People with such bad service don't deserve to be in business

Review 8：Cockroach in bathroom, rubbish bins near room reacked, couldn't find light switch. Couldn't leave aircon on while not in room. Dirty towel. Had to walk up stairs to get to room so no good for older people. Overall room didn't look clean and I paid 3 times more then what it should be worth, Not worth the money.

Review 14：The pillows are a bit hard. I didn't read the sign in the kitchen properly and ran out of coffee but that was my fault. There really should be a security gate at top of the stairs, a bit scary especially at night.

Review 16：The Parking was rubbish, impossible to park with a trailler, the rooms were separated completely away from the rest of the hotel, carpark security was non existent. Room was right up against the Calder Highway so was very noisy all night.

Review 18：Being downstais on the street. Terribly noisy. Street noise and the people upstairs and on the stairs and in their bathroom. No cook top...just a microwave. Terribly gloomy..so dark/badly lit I was unable to work or read in the main room. No light in the garage. A demand that I do all the dishes and put them away. The demand itself is unreasonable (doesn't happen anywhere else in the world) ..and they didn't provide a tea towel!..let alone a dishwasher.

Review 20：Booked for 4 and got one double bed and one fold out sofa. The kids could not even sleep on the sofa as it would not completely fold out and the matress was so thin.

Review 21：Only thing that bothered me was that the plug hole in the kitchen sink had not been cleaned in a LONG time. To make the point, I cleaned one half of this dirty plug hole and it instantly changed from a very dirty black to shinny silver with very little effort effort ...which told me the cleaners NEVER think to clean it. This is where so many germs linger. Please tell your cleaning people to clean the plug ho;es in kitchen, bathroom and laundry.

Review 29：The 3 bed room apt I was given was covered in dust. Had window latches broken off. My self and my sons were greeted by a huge spider. Windows were extremely thin which made sleeping for my children very difficult. Very unclean and very disappointed in the whole place.

Review 31：We stayed for a week. the first two nights it was exceptionally hot, so as you can imagine we sweated a bit in our sleep. We left a sign out saying please service our room as it states to do so in the book. When we got back from being out we noticed our room had not been service, so I went to the office and asked why. I was told that the rooms are only serviced if you stay for more than a week. I had told her about our situation and was then told in a very abrupt and rude manner that they don't service the rooms or change linen over unless you have been there a week and if I was that concerned that the room had a washer and drier. I think that for $200 a night I could get the sheets changed. Not to mention that the room was not clean to start with. But what's a light dust and mop. I travel to Bendigo about every two months and stay the night. this time it was for a week. I will never stay there again

Review 39：The bathroom has not been up-dated for many, many years. The hand basin taps were absolutely filthy with years of in-ground dirt around the bottom of each tap and around the HOT and COLD buttons on the top of each tap. Cleaners should be instructed to use an old toothbrush to scrub the inground dirt out regularly. I can't image the number of germs that must be having an absolute party on that hand basin.
