Review 1：Wi-fi in bedroom somewhat erratic. Times of shuttle bus were not convenient for afternoon/ evening trips out.

Review 3：My 80 year old mom was with us. Our room was reached by 84 stair steps. No elevator, no escalators or chairs. Wifi was not available in the two rooms we stayed.

Review 5：the room was not sufficiently clean. We told the reception and the hotel manager the day we left and they showed they did care and they were really sorry for this experience. I would consider this as a bad moment not a pattern but still it should have been avoided at a 4 star hotel.

Review 7：No bad experiences. The hotel is a little remote (more so that I expected) in that it was a long walk into Molyvos and even further to the harbour. Taxis were, however, plentiful and cheap.

Review 9：We had a blockage on our credit card on top of the whole payment we made. So, our credit card had no limits and they still could not solve the problem with the bank. The curtains in the room were probably never washed in last 15 yrs.

Review 11：This hotel rents its pool area for weddings, so if you are staying over the weekend during summer and paying top money for a sea view, you might want to consider renting another hotel (at least for a weekend) or changing to a room in the back. I have read previous reviews about noise issues from the pool area. I booked a superior room with a sea view, so when I was checking in, I requested a room furthest from the pool. I was given a nice room at the end of the property (far from the pool) with a great view. There were 2 weddings over that weekend (Saturday and Sunday). The music was so loud, carried by the winds, which I could hear it far away from my car when returning from dinner in the city. The music from a Greek wedding continued till 5 in the morning. So if you wanted to go on a balcony to relax - forget it! Or if you wanted to have a relaxing drink with your partner, and a calm conversation, you would have to shout at each other, because the music was sooo loud! My last night’s stay was on Sunday during one of the wedding nights. I had to be up at 3:30 in the morning to drive to the airport in order to catch a first flight out of Mytilini. I was exhausted and wasn't able to fall asleep, because the music was so loud and you could hear it with all the doors and windows closed. I’m not very sensitive to noises and a good sleeper, but in a situation like this you really need ear plugs to fall asleep. In my situation I could not use ear plugs, as I had to be up very early and have to rely on an alarm to be woken up, so forget about ear plugs :-) After staying in bed awake until 3:30, I finally got out of bad, got dressed and drove to the airport without a minute of sleep that night.

Review 13：1. WiFi Internet access is awful! Not working most of the time! Acceptable (but not "4-star hotel" quality) WiFi in the Reception area, completely unacceptable in the rest of the hotel.2. AC (Air Conditioning) totally inadequate in the large ballroom area, and even worse in the smaller area by the Gym, which was as hot as a sauna. Unacceptable for holding dance classes requiring physical activity! 3. Smoking is tolerated in open or "half-open" areas, including the restaurant and the pools. Even in open spaces, smoking is annoying and unhealthy. Sadly, Greece remains a smoker's paradise, but this is unacceptable by Western Europe/North American standards. 4. Hotel rooms are scattered up and down a hill. This is fine for young, fit guests, but could be a problem for older or unfit people. 5. Dinner hours 19.30-21.30 Seriously? in Greece? This would be fine for Northern Europe or North America....but NOT for a beautiful, sunny mediterranean island in the middle of summer!

Review 14：1. Nice clean rooms, with beautiful views, nice balcony and comfortable beds.2. Excellent breakfast, included in the price. 3. Great variety of quality foods for lunch and dinner, at very reasonable cost. The menu includes several genuine, tasty mediterranean cuisine options, and is far, far superior to the "junk food for tourists" that many "luxury" hotels provide. 4. Fridge in the room, well stocked, at very reasonable prices.

Review 15：Sunrise is absolutely gorgeous! There were two sparkling pools and a breath taking view of the water and Turkey in the distance. The staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was unbelievable.

Review 27：The staff were so friendly from arriving at the hotel to leaving, great service. We couldn't have chosen a better place, our hire car was parked almost outside our room so the steps weren't a problem at all. The courtesy bus into Molyvos is an added bonus, would definitely return.

Review 28：prices of drinks are slighty high in cpmparison. Beer in minibar is 1,50 and at the pool 2,80?? The other thing was that you have to arrange check-out the night before if you want to check out before 8:00. Since we did not see the sign at the reception, we had some issues. i think it's better that they inform you during check-in about this. apart from this a great stay!

Review 29：Nice clean rooms with seaview, large pools and firndly staff. The food could be improved, but outside there are plenty of alternatives! It's aso very close to fabulous clean eftalou beach..

Review 30：There is no beach, too far from the sea. You need to climb up and down too many stairs under the hot weather from the room to swimming pool. Too expensive meals even they are not the best compared to region. Wi-fi was not working most of the time.

Review 34：Just returned from an 12 night stay at SUNRISE. Initially booked a one bedroom apartment but realized that the superior room would be better for my needs. Trouble was hotel was fully booked. NO problem ... reception took me to the terrace where after enjoying a cold Mykonos I was shown the room that we would call our Greek home for the next 12 nights. Spacious and clean with an amazing view. All staff worked hard to make our stay a memorable one. A special thanks to General Manager Theofilos for arranging the limo for my daughter`s wedding and to Aphrodite at the pool bar for her great service. Mini bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. Included breakfast was a great start to the day.

Review 40：A dirty sheet was not changed. The mini-bar service people were unable to speak English and the dishes were not done. The time schedule of shuttle bus to Molyvos did not fit our needs - rent a car. Spent toiletries were not replaced by new ones.

Review 41：I liked that the hotel is built on a hill as a settlement of numerous houses accomodating a few rooms each, all furnished with a balcony or a terasse facing the beautiful Aegean sea. The gardens and the pool area is nice. The personnel is very kind. The breakfast buffet is plentiful. Overall we had a really pleasant stay and Molyvos is the ideal town to stay close to on Lesvos.

Dina, she is the best, always with a great smile on her face. Manolis, the great guy behind the bar. His secret recipes should try. Rooms is always clean and tidy. I'll recommend to have a drink at the terrace, just near the bar on sunset . The resort is just 5 min away the center of Molyvos by car. Location is good, price is good and staff is beyond :)) Thank you Sunset Resort. We had a wonderful time.

Review 75：Is quite a walk to the center of Molyvos (up hill on the way back) The food in the restaraunt was really bad! It seems it is made early in the morning and kept warm the whole day. I had roast lamb it was that dried up I could'nt even cut it with a knife. Not all the staff were charming!

Review 84：Nothing really in the negatives of the hotel itself. However, if you want to spend some time off the hotel, you will need some sort of transport to Molyvos village where restaurants and bars are located.

Review 85：Excellent hotel and best value for money. It is situated in the north part of the island of Mitilini, at Eftalou, just outside of Molyvos, the main touritic village. All the rooms are like bungalows, spacious, modern and clean with sea view. Staff is very friendly, pool and cafe is ok to relax. Very happy to have stayed there with my wife and daughter for 5 days. On our next time at Molyvos would come again at the same hotel.

Review 87：The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Dina exceeded myexpectations as far as providing service to a guest. She assisted mewith returning a rental car that wasn't working for me. Dina alsoprovided some places to go sightseeing once I received another rentalcar that was working for me. Also, this hotel has one of the bestbuffets that I've had in Greece. I had both the breakfast and dinnerand I thought both were very good.
