Review 1：The hotel was clean and offered good value for money. There was a bit of a smell in the room, and the bathroom could have done with some updating, however great value for money and a friendly manager.

Review 18：I don't want to be uncharitable, because I think the owner is quite nice. He made excellent breakfast and I felt if there was anything we needed he would have tried to help. Towels and bedding clean. Television worked fine. But the wallpaper in our room was peeling. In the bathroom they need to take a grout remover to the bathroom tile and go ahead and get that replaced, could do that easily maybe in a day or so. A nice swipe of the bathroom wall with a rag and a little bleach will take that little mold stain right off the wall. A bit musty. I think with a bit of work could be much better! Bed a bit hard. We didn't see any other guests while we were there but we were only there one night. Think "place to stay at the beach" and you are going to be fine.
Review 19：Helpful owner who cooked a great breakfast to order! Great location right near the water! We needed a place to stay on our way down to the airport and booked at the last minute, arriving late to check in but he was very kind. Wifi great!
Review 20：Basic but adequate rooms in accommodation run by friendly, down to earth northern folk. Excellent breakfast, both in terms of quality and quantity, with good choices for vegetarians. Well located for the seafront and the bus/rail stations.
Review 21：Traveled with travel mobility scooter, grandaughter and myself. They were informed of this and was assured i would be given help but no help was given lifting up the 10 stairs to doorway.no smiles from staff.

Review 40：The WiFi could be a bit dodgy at times, and the parking was a little tricky due to having so many other guesthouses along the same road with no room for a dedicated car park. However, all in all I cannot really complain much, as in general it was a very convenient place to stay.
Review 41：The hosts were really welcoming, and very accomodating even when I arrived late due to traffic issues! The room had everything I needed and it was good value for money. The breakfasts were great (with accomodation for special diets) and clearly I'm not the only one to think this, as a lot of the comments in the hotel guestbook referred to the breakfasts! The location is really handy - within easy walking distance of the seafront and the main areas of the town.
Review 42：This hotel advertised a Bar, but the host refused to open it. I choose hotels because they have a bar!!. The host was quite belligerent and showed now sign of empathy towards the "closed" bar. The shower area was filthy, with black marks everywhere. One of the towel rails was excessively pitted with rust. Shelves in the room were very dusty. The cleaner should be sacked and the host needs to show that he cares about the guests 24/7, not just at breakfast.!!!
Review 43：The location of this Hotel is great. Car Parking was excellent, right outside, on the street. Bed and bedding was superb and very clean. Very comfortable nights sleep. The shower was nice and hot. Breakfast was excellent with a great range and even a menu. Host was very pleasant and accommodating at breakfast.

Review 45：My partner got stranded in the area when a ferry due to bad weather. I made the booking then phoned to explain the situation and that my partner was staying rather than myself. The gentleman I spoke to was really helpful and friendly. My partner tells me the room was clean and comfortable and the food was good.

Review 50：The WiFi is very bad. No problem with the reception but the response and download were slower than my 12 kB/s mobile connection. The breakfast could be better. I know people expect full English and it's difficult to make but the hash browns were always spongy and the sausage tastes as if it was just warmed up in oil. The rest of the breakfast is fine, though (egg, bacon, tomato, beans).
Review 51：Good value for money, the B&B, although old, is very clean. I loved the location, Morecambe is a backwater but the view of the bay and seagulls waking you up in the morning are priceless. Furthermore, there are great bus connections to the whole Lancashire and even the Lake District.
Review 52：Wi-Fi was rubbish, I stayed on the 2nd floor and had to put my laptop on the floor to use Internet (although signal level was good, the number of obstacles on the way from the Access Point thwarted quality). Room furniture, fittings and tapestry remember at least the sixties or seventies. Got a room that was for smokers (at least in the past), despite my booking choice. Bedside lamp not working.
