Review 1：Extremely friendly, helpful staff if needed but otherwise I was left to come and go, which I like. Great location. Very clean and quiet. Quick, simple check in.
Review 2：The apartments are very small and old. I think they should call it a studio instead of apartment. OK for backpackers, but absolutely not for a family. They have a small terrace (not enough place to eat outside). The kitchenette is poorly equipped.The apartments are not in the same building, but on the other side of the road. If you want to use the swimming pool, you have to cross the road (which is not usefull with young children). In general, the apartments are overpriced (other places we stayed in were cheaper and much nicer)
Review 3：we were expecting a different kind of room from the pictures, and especially we had requested a double room with double beds and instead we got one with two singles. The guy offered to fix it but simply pushed the beds together..not the most comfortable night. Wifi only in common areas and very scarce in the rooms.
Review 4：The hotel looks really nice, it's 10 min walking away from the centre (matala is a beautiful fun town!), there is a bar and pool.
Review 5：The Matala Bay Hotel is an oasis of relaxation in a perfect location. Just a few minutes stroll to the beach and bustle of Matala, we found the poolside a peaceful break from the wonderful Matala Beach Festival. See you next year!

Review 7：This hotel was the closest hotel to the Matala Beach Music Festival. It took all of five minutes for my friends and I to walk to the beach. Great location.

Review 10：floors were tile and echoed continueously--- bus came after 12:00 screaming and yelling people. the staff did nothing. they tried to break down our bedroom door about 2:00. We "looked" at breakfast and could not leave fast enough

Review 12：the bar maid putting soda water instead of tonic water in a Gin and Tonic, and being told both they didn't have any tonic and it didn't matter because tonic and soda water were exactly the same.. Cancel two G and Ts. The staff are very causually dressed and do not wear identity badges so it can hard to tell the difference between fellow guests and staff
Review 13：It is on the edge of Matala, a few minutes walk to the beach, restaurants etc. Good swimming pool, air con etc. Room very clean

Two singles bed put together instead of double we believe we paid for appears professional photos on web page but rooms not as appears swimming pool could be cleaner with more sun loungers limited breakfast choice exposed electrics in shower !! And did functional shower head until tightened by myself ...

Review 27：We make a rezervation to be there at big festival, we choose 1 room for three people, include parcking, breakfast (7.00-9.00 wrote on the confirmation)..so when we arrived there...nothing was like the room that we choose...he took as and drive to another apartment at the other side of road...but he was already ask from us to pay firstly because of traffic of festival..we dont agree to stay at the appartment which like we think was his house..it looks like this ... so he drive us again to matala bay and he gave us a double room with extra bed ...but we already pay for three...the room was not clean...we didn receive parcking...and finally breakfast start 8.00 o clock...the choice is yours!!
