Review 1：This hotel is located well above the beach but only in ten minutes nice walk down to the sea. Tolo is nice and quiet place well-connected with beautiful Nafplio. Yannis is very kind and friendly host: our room was updated for free. Hope to come back!

Review 2：It is not about the hotel but the church nearby rang the bell almost every morning at 7 which was "a good wake up" :-) For those who like cooking maybe the kitchen could be equipped better - but this is individual; we anyway spent almost the entire time outside.

Review 3：We were happy basically with everything during our 9-day-stay. The apartment was cosy and clean, also the balcony with the sea view. The bedlinen and towels were changed every second day. The hotel staff was friendly.

Review 5：Spacious apartments and fantastic views. The owner and his staff are very helpful and friendly. The Amaryllis is a small family run hotel and as such is very personable.

Review 6：Internet in fact is not usable. It takes a couple or times to try to connect and then you just not able to use a humble messenger sometimes, web browsing is total nightmare. Only night hours or early morning are good to use internet. Shame!

Review 50：Janis the owner was simply GREAT. Everything about Amaryllis was simply the best. Great breakfast very clean room with comfortable bed. I would not hesitate to recommend with my highest mark and will definitely stay here in the future. I noticed many said the location was to far away. I found no problem walking to the town or beach and for this walk we got a great view. You can also drive easily to the town and parking did not seem a problem when we visited in May

Review 51：The beach is far, you can't reach by foot, there is a long way down/up. The hotel is on the road, if you want to walk in the evening, you go a long way down to the beach. No teapot, no microwave in the kitchen. Nothing for cleaning dishes inside the kitchen. Even the cleaner left all dishes dirty inside the washbowl. There is no elevator inside.

Review 55：Many problems all over... The sheets on one of the beds where dirty and probably weren't substituted before our visit (the stains were also of an unpleasant nature - probably body fluids). The sheets were replaced, however we didn't see any signs of an apology from the staff... One of the mattresses of the beds, as well as the one for the sofa, weren't comfortable at all. The bed one was far too soft and the sofa one was as if you were sleeping right on the concrete right below (the sofa is actually a shelf with a mattress on top). The cutlery we needed to use for our breakfast wasn't clean and there was no sponge or dish washing fluid provided, in order to clean them ourselves. The room was situated right above the pool and the noise produced by the other visitors, in the mornings was rather annoying, while they were having their breakfast. During the morning hours it was virtually impossible to sit in the patio to have breakfast, as the sun was right in our faces and no means of shading (umbrella,tent) were provided. Considering the amount paid and the quality of the installation, I believe that breakfast should have also been included. Finally, the entrance for the private parking lot was far too steep and our car, no matter how carefully steered, was always getting its parts underneath scratched while entering or leaving.

Review 56：The place, where the hotel is situated, is ideal for access and has a wonderful view. The bathroom was also clean, very convenient with an ample supply of hot water.

Review 57：Janis the owner was just great. He offered really great value for money and his breakfast, especially his self-made cake, was just awesome. The rooms were clean and we liked the colorful interior design. I have to admit one of the best stays we ever had, we even stayed a day longer than anticipated because we liked it so much.

Review 59：The only drawback was the inability to walk to the town or the beach,because the hotel is on top of a hill, and the roads do not have muchroom to walk. Of course this also makes for spectacular views of thewater! However, the bus stops just a few step from the hotel, sointrepid travelers can take the 20 -cent trip by bus to the town.

Review 60：I liked my room very much! I was a single person in a larger familygroup, and chose a small double on the bottom floor. It was ideal forsomeone like me, who wanted to see the sights and come back to arelaxing place to sleep after a day of exploration. The patio wasspacious and the room was clean and well appointed. Balcony apartmentshad lovely views - great for your morning coffee or a bit of late-nightrelaxation and conversation before bed. Yianni, the owner, and theentire staff were very friendly and eager to help with any requests. Iwill stay here again next time I visit Greece and will highly recommendit to others.

Review 61：It is obvious that the last money that were spent for touristic development in Tolo was something like thirty years ago. This makes the accomodation overpriced even in decent places like this one.

Review 67：Apartment was beautiful, air conditioning was excellent, decoration was lovely, the bathroom was great, really clean and the shower always had plenty of water pressure wonderful big balcony with fantastic views. The location is excellent overlooking the bay and it is only a short walk to the beach and restaurants coming back the hill is quite steep but we just took our time. The room was cleaned everyday usually while we ate breakfast which was also very good and fresh towels were provided everyday. The owner and all the staff are the nicest people you could meet and only too happy to help with anything. The pool area is really nice and so are the pool snacks. I fully intend to stay there again sometime it was truly one of the nicest apartments you could hope for.
