Reviews for Hotel Restaurant La Petite Auberge
Review 1:The hotel was a little bit isolated in Autumn/winter and the town had nothing to offer. Difficult to find anywhere for breakfast or a coffee, and wine sellers were not too keen to give us a tasting as it was quiet, but the one that did, got our business.
Review 2:The room was good and watching the deer and llama eat outside the window was a bonus. The evening meal in the hotel across the road was good value and good quality. But at the end of November Hohwald was quiet, but the nearby towns were historically interesting, and lunch was good in Barr. and the gingerbread bakery at Gertwiller was worth a visit. Barr and surrounding towns offer a good choice of wine-tasting and a chance to buy Alsace wine.
Review 3:hospitality-breakfast home made jam
Review 4:There wasn't an awful lot of choice on the restaurant menu and it was quite expensive, as was the breakfast.
Review 5:The chalet accommodation was lovely, everything looks brand new and it is cosy and attractive, with a large bedroom upstairs and a seating area downstairs. The breakfast was very nice (apart from the coffee), with fresh breads and a good selection of items.
