Reviews for Buslingthorpe Manor

Review 1:Did not realise the Manor was a guest house but the owners and their family were charming.

Review 2:Hosts were amazing, fantastic breakfast, wonderful room, with every possible little extra to make our stay memorable, such as flowers, fruit, scones and a glass of wine. There was even a decanter of Port should we have wished!

Review 3:We were so pleased to stay at Buslingthorpe Manor and to be looked after by the wonderful Jo. She was 'just our cup of tea' and we look forward to staying again. Room was better than expected and the breakfast was superbly done.

Review 5:The host was very friendly and helpful, gardens and house beautiful, bathrooms clean with lovely facilities, breakfast excellent.

Review 6:Some may think it's a little far out from town, but if you've chosen somewhere in the countryside like this, you're probably a driver anyway!

Review 7:Gorgeous stay! We could have quite happily moved in! Very friendly welcome and good recommendations for local amenities. Lovely room that was spacious and cosy at the same time, with a fantastic jacuzzi bath! Fabulous breakfasts to top it off.

The rooms were beautifully decorated with little touches such as candles, fresh flowers, cookies and a selection of tea choices anad freah milk!! Breakfast was excellent with a great choice, fresh eggs and freshly picked berries. Oh and we were even offered a glass of wine and beer on arrival :) which was a perfect touch.

Review 13:We had great difficulty in finding the property. The map wasn't helpful. We were further from Market Rasen than the address suggested.

Review 17:Beautiful historic building in landscaped grounds and peaceful rural setting. Comfortable and well arranged and completely charming, considerate and helpful host.

Review 18:Although pets are allowed I don't like them in the dining room, mainly the cat always seemed to sneak in. I realise it's difficult you can't keep the door shut with guests coming and going.

Review 19:Very welcoming host Joanne she couldn't do enough for you. Spacious room lovely cooked breakfasts, this lady is an excellent cook.

Review 20:Lovely and relaxed. Terrific welcome from Jo. Felt like valued friends, rather than paying guests! Beautiful room and the comfiest bed I've slept in for a long time. Whole jar of cookies in our room, basket of fruit, dish of nuts, and FRESH milk on our tray. Fresh flowers too. Beautiful antique furniture and lovely blinds, drapes and soft furnishings. A room filled with light. Bathroom was not ensuite, but was spacious and boasted a bath and a large shower cubicle. Again, attention to furnishings! The house is beautiful and the gardens are just perfect. The free range eggs are incredible.

Review 37:We were delighted that we chose to stay at Buslingthorpe Manor. Jo and her husband Jim were very welcoming as were the two dogs. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the spa bath was fabulous. There was fruit in our room and as we arrived on boxing day they also provided us with a meat platter supper, inc chocolates and nibbles, very kind. The location was great for Lincoln, Louth and Skegness or coast, very quiet and relaxing, just what we wanted. Review 39:Our stay for one evening on 6 Dec 2014 whilst on a trip to Lincoln market was excellent. On arrival we were welcomed with a glass of bucks fizz and a mince pie. Review 48:We found it a little difficult to find using online mapping services -especially in the dark! The one we used sent us the long obscure way round. It was maybe partly us but some fellow guests also had problems. A good ordnance survey map and a reading light for the car is a good idea! Once we got it worked out though no problem.
