Reviews for East Farmhouse
Review 1:Nothing at all
Review 2:Very homely and welcoming. Breakfast was perfectly cooked with an amazing fruit salad. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Recommend 100%. Also precise directions given to find the farm house.
Review 3:The bed was not a good standard and when the heating went off it was freezing in the room in the middle of the night.
Review 4:The hosts were very nice and the breakfast was good. The house was lovely with a pleasant outlook over farm land.
Review 5:Wifi didn't reach the bedroom, but had a separate lounge with tv where you could pickup a signal
Review 6:The location, the owners were very helpful, food excellent.
Review 7:Warm welcome on arrival. Tea/coffee and cake as soon as we had put bags in room. Room very comfortable. Good breakfast. Nothing too much trouble. Very peaceful location.
Review 8:The worst part was leaving!
Review 9:Liked the space and style. Big doors, polished floorboards a foot wide. And yet more space. A fine working 18th Century farmhouse with a charming lady in charge. Think: Doors, Floors and Chandeliers. We will return.
Review 10:don't like the layout of the room, having wash basin in dressing table in bedroom, shower cubic is also in bedroom, a bit of lack of privacy. separate toilet downstairs. shower head is lack of power, there is no tissue in the room and hardly any shampoo and shower gel. Bedding is bit on small side and thin.
Review 11:breakfast was super, hosts are very friendly
Review 12:Only comment I would say is the WiFi signal is weak so you cant really get it in the room and be careful taking long showers as the hot water seems to get used up, otherwise nothing major.
Review 13:Lovely quiet location, very nice breakfasts. Nice clean room with everything you need and nothing was too much trouble. Friendly atmosphere.
Review 14:Only that there were no beans with breakfast !
Review 15:The couple Gill and Bill were lovely, friendly people.Lovely location, nice breakfast cooked from local produce.
Review 16:Located a little off the beaten track, but well worth that extra mile for the peace and security Eastfarmhouse provides. Close to the Wolds and beautiful little villages and countryside.
Review 17:If not used to B&Bs, it may feel a bit uncomfortable if you need to stay out late. It felt like the owners were waiting on us to come back at night. The only other point may be the fact that the room did not have a look. We booked the family room. It was not a problem for us but some people may prefer en-suite
Review 18:Great customer service.. felt very welcomed and the owners were very helpful. Pippa the dog was lovely too. Nice location and beautiful house with fireplaces etc. Homemade cake and tea as a welcome treat
Review 19:Having to go down a steep flight of stairs to go to the loo at night, and light for the extremely cold corridor was also the main light to the bedroom, so disturbed partner/child as was a family room.I had sight difficulties so not good for me personally. Wouldn't suit someone with a disability.
Review 20:Amazing locally sourced food, beautifully cooked and presented in a traditional farmhouse dining room, surrounded by period furniture. Hosts very friendly and welcoming. Log fires took off the chill of the old house. Really friendly black Labrador. Tea & coffee and homemade cake on arrival.
Review 21:Nothing. This was perfect for our needs
Review 22:Being greeted with coffee and homemade lemon drizzle cake got our stay off to a wonderful start. To be able to enjoy it infront of an open fire - even better. We had a lovely quiet stay, slept really well and were very well taken care of. Even came home with fresh eggs!
Review 23:Nothing
Review 24:Everything, I was met by the landlady Val on arrival, showed me my room, made me a cuppa and a piece of cake, very friendly, her husband lit a real coal fire in the guest lounge, really enjoyable.
Review 25:The toilet was downstairs to the room which we thought might be an issue but ended up being okay, especially as there was a sink and a shower in the bedroom
Review 26:Pretty location, great breakfast, comfortable room, friendly and helpful with our children
Review 27:Leaving!
Review 28:Peace & quiet. Welcome cup of tea. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendliness and helpfulness of hosts. Beautiful 18th century farmhouse. All guests share large dining table at breakfast, great conversation AND great breakfast.
Review 29:A little tricky to find in the dark.

Review 31:A little difficult to find in the dark - otherwise no complaints at all.
Review 32:The owner was really helpful and accommodating. The place was spotlessly clean and tidy. Nice little sitting room downstairs for guests.
Review 33:Nothing springs to mind .. We had a very good nights sleep and a tasty breakfast which is all you need from a B&B.
Review 34:Very welcoming Great breakfast Great nights sleep
Review 35:No complaints whatsoever. Will book again next year.
Review 36:Quiet location and friendly hosts. Comfortable room with pleasant views over garden and farmland beyond. Generous en suite. Healthy full English cooked breakfast set me up well for a long day's walking.
Review 37:You'll find the location is very remote, especially if you are city folk. It was 2 miles to the nearest village with only one pub, which in its self wasn't all that good really, although the evening meal was nice. When it rained heavily on the Sunday we found ourselves confined to our room, because nothing in the area was open; luckily we had some DVD's and the laptop to pass the time.
Review 38:We were warmly welcomed into a beautiful old farm house, which is not only a family home but also a working grain farm. The owners are really nice, genuine people, and we fell in love their wonderful pet dog. The location is very peaceful and the gardens stunning. Our family room was spacious, warm and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, with eggs from their own farm and meats from the nearby farm shop.
Review 39:There really wasn't anything I didn't like. Great value for money, and a good location as a launching point to get to several locations with multiple attractions for the day
Review 40:On a busy and physically demanding business trip, it was like an oasis of peace and comfort. The hosts gave just the right amount of attention when you needed it, but weren't stifling. Everything right down to the food was of the highest quality. Quiet and comfortable, I slept amazingly well.

Review 44:The Owners' hospitality (they were both very nice) The beds were very comfortable Breakfast was lovely Lovely house and location Tourist info was there too
Review 45:My wife and I plus our 5 year old son stayed for one night prior to visiting Waddington Airshow. On Arrival the owners Jim and Gill were there to greet us and we shared tea and cake, they were very friendly and our 5 year old took to them immediately. The location is quiet but near enough to most attractions to make it an excellent base. The room was big enough and very clean. The breakfast was excellent with cooked breakfast with their own free range eggs plus award winning local sausages! There was also fruit salad, toast, cereal etc. Gill arranged a table for us at a local pub for evening meal and was helpful with anything we asked. I wouldn't think anything would be too much trouble. Our son was on first name terms with them both and insisted he wanted to say goodbye to each if them before we left. I have to say that our stay here was excellent and we would always stay here if we needed a base in Lincolnshire again. I hope Jim and Gill read this as We would all like to say thank you for a great stay.

Review 91:Very warm and friendly hosts. Children made to feel very welcome. Great breakfast.
Review 92:The satnav took us to another location about a mile away (not their fault) which was a derelict farmhouse. Could put other people off? The downside of being so remote I guess.
Review 93:We loved it. The room, the location, the breakfast, the hosts. It was like staying with family. But staying with family you like! One of our top 5 locations.

Review 99:Our hosts were so welcoming to their beautiful home. we broke our walking journey at East Farmhouse and it was a haven. The food was phenomenal: we came in to afternoon tea with homemade cake, and the breakfast was a perfect example of a locally-sourced fry-up. I'd completely recommend it.
