Less than 5 minutes’ drive from Market Rasen Racecourse, the 18th-century Advocate Arms is a 5-star restaurant with rooms, which serves local produce on its menu. Blackout blinds, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV and a memory foam mattress are included in each spacious room. Free private parking is possible.
The long-distance footpath, the Viking Way, is less than 15 minutes’ drive away. Lincoln city centre can be reached after 25 minutes’ drive and Cadwell Park racing circuit is within 40 minutes’ drive of the Advocate Arms. The Hubbard Hills are a 35-minute drive away and are a pretty picnic location.

Review 1：There is nothing to not like about this hotel/restaurant
Review 2：We like every aspect of our stay in this hotel, the room was outstanding, we had a meal in the restaurant on the evening which was good food at a good price, the staff were very attentive.
Review 3：Poor security as back door which had a keypad security lock and lead directly to the bedrooms was always insecure due to people going outside to the smoking area.
Review 4：Very comfortable, nicely decorated and appointed. Delicious food and friendly, helpful staff with a lovely ambience. Spacious bedroom and ensuite, most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!
Review 5：Not a bad experience but slightly disappointing. We had a family as guests for lunch their being 11 in total. Serving was very delayed between courses and we only had two. Waiting staff had little to do as we assumed their was a 'problem' in the kitchen. Menu was not quite what we ordered and expected.

Review 9：Dominic Jeffrey, the Hotel Manager was excellent. His staff couldn't be faulted. It is a lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, ideal facilities with an excellent restaurant. What a little gem this place is. Would have no qualms whatsoever in recommending it to anyone.
Review 10：We stayed for one night as we were visiting Lincoln and chose this hotel as we looked at the good reviews on the internet. Comfy bed, clean room, lovely modern bathroom. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening and the food was excellent and well presented. Breakfast menu was varied, well cooked. Staff efficient and friendly. A very professionally run small hotel. Would highly recommend.
Review 11：I needed to leave for work at 05:00 & there was no offer of a packed breakfast of any description. My room was above the bar & on the main road so there was loud noise from both within the hotel & from outside (It was Halloween). The noise did not subside with other guests clomping up stairs to bed at regular intervals all night, at 03:30 id had enough so got up & went to work early.

Review 25：The hotel gave us an upgrade and the room was absolutely fabulous. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable and the room had a big balcony which would be lovely on a warm evening. The restaurant was excellent.
Review 26：We paid for a room with a balcony but the kitchen extractor fan was just above so not pleasurable sitting out. Light bulbs missing from main fitting and cobwebs, also cobwebs in bathroom. Curtains need fixing so the whole lot doesn't pull into middle when closing. 5*....maybe not.

Review 36：A very warm and friendly welcome on arrival, we were quickly shown to our room. On our return in the evening, we went into the best organised and well run restaurant i have ever been to! The food was superb and the service fantastic. I would detour to stay again!!!

Review 49：We found the walls between bedrooms on the thin side, quite unlucky where there's a very loud snorer in the next room so noise was an issue. On check out our bill was incorrect, with another resident's dinner and breakfast bill on it, but this was quickly rectified by staff.

Review 75：Two minor points: In the evening they only served 'restaurant food'. As our reason for staying at this pub was about the location and we arrived late, it would have been nice to a bar menu alternative. Difficult to find a electricity socket in the room that was free.

Review 77：Our booked room (room 9) was called an 'Executive Double Room', but it was very small. The walls are very thin and we were kept awake by the occupant of the adjoining room snoring and his early morning phone conversation which was clearly audible.
Review 78：Excellent restaurant, outstanding food and staff did their best to help when our shower broke on arrival (no alternative room was available on the first night, but we were able to shower in a room that was being re-decorated and were relocated for the second night in another newly decorated room, which smelled a bit of fresh paint, but was ok). It was not an ideal situation, but the General Manager was helpful and knocked some money off our bill and gave us a bottle of wine for our inconvenience which was appreciated.
