Reviews for Symply Padstow
Review 1:It would be nice to not have to lug suitcases up so many stairs, but this applies to anywhere and is not a criticism of the place.
Review 2:Comfortable with lovely view over Camel River, excellent breakfast, in a good location with very friendly and hospitable hosts.
Review 3:There was nothing not to like. It would be nice to have a private car park but i'm just being mega picky as there is no room for this in these properties so near the town centre. So actually there was nothing i didn;t like
Review 4:Lovely location and a fantastic breakfast. The room was really nice and it was the little touches like wine glasses, water and soft drinks and real coffee and nice toiletries and a little fridge that made it that bit more special. The view was also amazing and the owners lovely.
Review 5:Nothing everything was great
Review 6:Really friendly owners who are happy to help and also well informed about the local area. View from the room was brilliant too. Breakfast was excellent.
Review 7:En-suite door is very close to bed, not a problem for us but could imagine it would be inconvenient for others. It would be really good to have a light on the path leading up to the property, we ended up using a torch.
Review 8:Excellent location and breakfast.
Review 9:Very welcoming. The room was fantastic!! Really comfortable, extremely clean, spacious and had everything you needed and more. The breakfast was delicious with various choices to meet everyone's needs.
Review 10:Nothing everything was perfect.
Review 11:The owners were lovely. The bed was really comfortable and we had a great view. Also, the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
Review 12:The unusual shower should have been provided with operating instructions
Review 13:Close location and easy walk to the harbour and centre of town. Great views from our room. Excellent breakfast.
Review 14:Twin beds joined to make a double but both had stitched ridges all round so you can't lie together comfortably in the middle.
Review 15:Comfortably large room. Nice powerful shower - Mary's Shed products supplied are very nice. Very good breakfast.
Review 16:Only issue showers wasn't great. But other than that beautiful room.
Review 17:Brilliant location easy walking distance to everything you need. Lovely hosts very welcoming. Yummy breakfast!!
Review 18:The only thing we didn't like was that we didn't have more time to stay another night.
Review 19:The view from our bedroom was stunning. The breakfast was so delicious. We had car trouble and David was so kind, making sure that we were going to be able to get it taken care of. Loved the pub we walked to. Wished I had time to shop in the stores.
Review 20:The view was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was top notch! One of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in.
Review 21:Symply wonderful. Location is fantastic. The rooms are clean and have everything you could ever need. Fresh milk and drinks daily. The breakfast was fantastic and everyone so welcoming and friendly. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting Padstow. Just a huge thank you to Tina, David and Sarah for making it feel like a home from home.
Review 22:The room had an amazing view. It was big and clean and airy. It's really close to the town, 5 minutes at the most. They reserved parking for us at the front of the hotel which was very handy considering how busy it is there! Staff were really friendly.
Review 23:Very accommodating and really pleasant owners who allowed us to check in early to allow us to attend a wedding. Really helpful, great room with estuary view. All great
Review 24:Our "room at the top",was probably the best of its type we have experienced.Lovely big bedroom,king-size bed,and very tastefully decorated and a sea-view to die for.Only downside was that the toilet door hadn"t got a lock and kept on opening!! Superb "cooked to order" Full English, got the day off to a great start.
Review 25:nothing bad
Review 26:very friendly, great location and view, comfortable bed and tasty breakfast.Would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting padstow. Will definitely be returning here.
Review 27:The b and b was faultless..the only downside about padstow is that the place gets so packed with people because its so popular..
Review 28:The hosts and staff were very pleasant and the location was fantastic..nice comfortable room and quiet at night..great views of the estuary too..will definately stay again..padstow is good even even if the weather is'nt.
Review 29:Padstow is a gorgeous location and the B&B was easy to get to (and park outside). Great room with fabulous view, easy walk down into village. Very friendly helpful owners. Would highly recommend.

Review 31:Location, view and breakfast.
Review 32:We loved staying at Symply Padstow and did not want to leave! We stayed for two nights in the Rock View Room and the photos on the website do not exaggerate at all, it's exactly like that and beautiful. The views are amazing. We really liked the little touches of bottled water in the fridge and a small jug of milk for your tea. The breakfasts were very good. We would not hesitate to come back when we are next on holiday in Padstow. Thank you for a lovely stay! Martin and Vanessa.
Review 33:We loved Everything about this place! It really made our trip to England special! And we loved the village of Padstow! Would love to have been able to spend more time there!
Review 34:Nothing
Review 35:Our hosts were so pleasant even gave us a lift into town when it was raining, the place is absolutely spotless and really nicely decorated, they have their own chickens and breakfast was out of this world with those eggs

Review 38:Location just a short walk to harbour and all restaurants, shops and cafes. The breakfast was very tasty high quality bacon, sasauges and eggs. The views from the rooms are amazing and highly recommend accommodation. In all a wonderful stay!
Review 39:Insufficient choice for breakfast, the room described as a four poster room, the bed was too big and hardly left room for the bathroom door to open.
Review 40:Owners were friendly
Review 41:There wasnt anything we didnt like from our stay at symply.
Review 42:The owners where very nice and welcoming, The room was gorgeous clean and comfy with a great view, the breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh and all this being only five minute walk from padstow itself.

Review 44:Tina was welcoming and friendly (she had been in contact prior to our arrival date as well). Our room was lovely; very comfortable and clean with a nice view and an en suite bathroom with a good shower. Contents of the mini fridge were complementary and breakfast the next day was delicious, with plenty of options and great, locally sourced food.
Review 45:We loved the panoramic view of the estuary from our room. The location is excellent, about 5-10 mins walk from the centre of town and on street parking available directly outside. Breakfasts were top quality and our hosts friendly and helpful. A joy!
Review 46:Nothing!
Review 47:The friendly reception, lots of nice little touches like the big selection of DVDs to borrow and the sherry decanter in the lounge, the fridge with milk and water in your room, nice locally-made toiletries, the splendid breakfast, the fabulous views over the estuary, the helpful suggestions about dining and parking, the proximity to the town so you can leave the car behind when you go for a meal.
Review 48:I thought that the hosts were very caring and attentive and so lovely indeed. The breakfast was outstanding. The view from the room was amazing. The location was perfect.
Review 49:Nit picking a little but the shower pressure was poor however this did not effect our stay.

Review 51:We had a room at the front which gave us a great view of the estuary. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very large. The breakfast choice was very good and the hosts were very welcoming. Would recommend to anyone staying in this area.
Review 52:Poor parking facilities Room a little cold and had to use the fan heater.
Review 53:Nice warm comfy bed and pillows Outlook good Good variety for breakfast. A nice box of chocolates and birthday card from the owners, a lovely surprise
Review 54:Very friendly welcome from Tina - very comfortable rooms and good en-suite facilities - excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and great location with easy walk into the centre (harbour) area. Would certainly stay again and would recommend highly.
Review 55:I thought in comparison to other 4 Star B&Bs around the Devon/Cornwall area "Simply" is very expensive - but not expensive for Padstow as this seaside town seems to be in high demand and accommodation is priced accordingly. We were walking from John O Groats to Lands End and we needed somewhere to stay, otherwise if I had a car I would have stayed out of town.
Review 56:This is a very good B&B. Efficiently run, clean, tidy and excellent views over the estuary. Good breakfast and a pleasant welcome on arrival.
Review 57:Parking in the road very limited depending on time of day. Not sure if there was alternative parking if there were no spaces in road.
Review 58:Friendly, helpful owners. Short walk to town but just far enough away from centre to be nice & quiet. Lots of little extra touches like dressing gowns in the wardrobe. Beautiful views. Peaceful & relaxing.
Review 59:Lack of parking space, but considering Padstow is such a popular place this problem has to be expected.
Review 60:A marvellous view from our bedroom and excellent breakfasts.
Review 61:Parking, although managed to get a parking space later in the day and then left it there for the duration of the holiday.
Review 62:Cleanliness Comfort Breakfast Near to town but not too close
Review 63:The view was beautiful, room was luxury, breakfast was delicious and closeness to town brilliant. Owners and staff so helpful and friendly, felt very welcome.
Review 64:Posts on bed made room feel a tad small and serve no purpose - but hey, I'm really picking nits here - this place really is a pleasure to stay at.
Review 65:Location, cleanliness, facilities - everything provided even bathrobes . Breakfast was faultless. Awards are well deserved. Pity our stay was so short.
Review 66:We only had 1 night there! Love to come back soon.
Review 67:The room was extremely comfortable with lovely 4 poster bed. We were blessed with fab weather and the view across to Rock in the morning was all the better for that.
Review 68:Excellent location, short easy walk in to town. Good views. Lovely sized room, nicely decorated with some welcome extra's e.g wine glasses and corkscrew! Plus good quality complimentary toiletries. Fantastic breakfast as well.

Review 74:The location was perfect.Wonderful views from our bedroom of the Camel estuary. There was nothing more the owners or staff could have done for us and there were no more extras they could have supplied, everything was there. The breakfast was second to none.

Review 79:We stayed here for 3 nights and we loved it. It is less than a five minute walk from the main harbour, bedroom is clean and light. Shower is warm and powerful. Just a lovely cosy little place. The breakfast (which is fully customisable!) is delicious and the staff couldn't do enough for you. They even bought us a bottle of wine when they found out it was our first wedding anniversary. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
