Reviews for Premier Inn Leeds South - Birstall
Review 1:Only two choices for breakfast full or continental no inbetween for someone not needing a big breakfast.
Review 2:The beds were very comfortable, quiet at night a pleasant stay.
Review 3:Personal preference-but we like harder pillows, they were a little too soft for us.
Review 4:Staff were really helpful. Room was spacious, clean and comfy. This was our first time in a premier inn and it won't be our last.
Review 5:did not get much sleep on first night ,but everything was resolved very quickly by julie
Review 6:very helpfull staff , the old chimney is a good feature of the old brickwoorks, good breakfasts, when my wife was not very well julie was very helpfull and understanding we need people like her
Review 7:It rained for a while! We couldn't fault the hotel and staff.
Review 8:Friendly staff, the.receptionist was very helpful. We were there for a wedding in Leeds and the reception was local, we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay.
Review 9:Had been feeling poorly and did not feel like eating much so had a starter and then asked for a kids jelly and ice cream they were really obliging . Staff were great
Review 10:Nothing.
Review 11:Comfortable room, with wonderful pillows.During the night very loud shouting from next door was quickly silenced(if only other hotels would take note) We were informed before our visit that some painting was being done-there was no smell of paint at all.
Review 12:Room temperature maxed out at 23 & felt cold through the night. Bathroom lighting is poor & cold looking.
Review 13:Very welcoming & happy to help receptionist. Cleaners very polite was passing in the hall way. Good size room with extra pillows & towels.
Review 14:The un trained staff, took way too long to be booked in, she didn't know what she was doing.
Review 15:Liked the pub connected to the premier inn. Convenient
Review 16:Although we booked a quad family room we were allocated a double. Apparently Booking.com didn't mentioned the children on our reservation and the hotel had decided to change the room type. After a worrying time being told nothing was available, with Booking.com and Premier Inn blaming each other, the Premier Inn staff found us a room for four. Apparently this has happened before!!!
Review 17:Convenient for the motorway as a stopover. Breakfast was nice.
Review 18:Bed squeaked every time you moved plus it rolled across the room when I sat on it. Toilet gurgled with air. Something on the roof was lose waking me several times through the night
Review 19:Location good, rooms clean & tidy, friendly staff. Good night sleep guarantee honoured
Review 20:Location difficult to find, especially as hotel sign is hidden by trees and bushes...if you do not know the name of the restaurant at that location, you drive by the hotel Having to pay for wifi after their 30 minutes free.... Cost of breakfast for Continental, even though a descent one, is too much for a "budget" hotel.
Review 21:Staff were very helpful Size, cleanliness, and comfort of room Free parking
Review 22:Some of the customers have no respect for others and ruined our nights stay but we wouldn't hesitate in going back but would try to avoid a Saturday night
Review 23:The staff are wonderful , the food was excellent, and the hotel perfect
Review 24:Nothing
Review 25:Whenever I travel the first place I look for is a Premier Inn. They always offer good value for money, cleanliness and comfort. I have yet to be disappointed.
Review 26:Very friendly reception when we arrived late on Sat, lady could not have been more helpful. Room comfortable for 4 people. We were still able to get food in the brewers fayre which is ideally placed, staff there also very attentive at both dinner and breakfast.
Review 27:Cold do with a bigger fan to cool the room down, it was a very hot night and the silly little fan provided was a waste of time.
Review 28:Needed somewhere to stay before Le tour and this was perfect, friendly staff comfortable room and decent eatery.
Review 29:Small thing - could do with more teabags! Only 2 in the tray, not enough for us both to have a drink late at night & in the morning.
Review 30:Could not fault the room or the staff. Really enjoyed our overnight stay.

Review 42:Nice clean room, big comfy bed and handy bar and restaurant next door.
Review 43:In room 9 which seemed to have a service room above it so noisy from about 7am
Review 44:Motorway acces Staff very helpful at reception and in the restaurant

Review 46:Restaurant (pub) was very busy on Saturday night - but I guess that's not necessarily a bad sign!

Review 48:Poor service in the attached restaurant

Review 59:Very helpful staff; excellent freshly-cooked breakfast; very good value for a family room.
Review 60:Friendly staff Food Cleanliness Facilities
Review 61:firm mattress
Review 62:clean and tidy quiet
Review 63:Although the booking was for two people, there was only one set of towels.
Review 64:Clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed.
Review 65:The cost was a little higher than I have previously paid for similar accommodation
Review 66:Location was perfect for work. The breakfast was one of the best I have had at any Premier Inn
Review 67:The only downfall of the room was the temperature. We seemed to be freezing or boiling! However, we could open the window which was very helpful as you can't in many hotels.
Review 68:Location was great for a family event. We did have some issues in the restaurant but I don't think that should reflect on the excellent service received in the hotel.
Review 69:After travelling for over four and half hours and working before settingoff, we arrived at the hotel about 11.15pm and got into our room about10 minutes later to a very cold room, which continued during the nighteven though I turned the one heater on, this soon went off, so we werenot impressed with the comfort of our room. We were also not impressedwith premier inn to regards of the wifi, we have no problems with theway premier inn charge for their internet but I do have a problem withtheir internet over-riding the internet of the brewers fayre's freewifi, even though I complained to the reception staff, we were stillunable to get free wifi because of this.
Review 70:Pub nextdoor, seems to be a restaurant with a bar, rather than a pub that provides food.
Review 71:Ease of booking. Efficient friendly staff. Clean & comfortable Wide choice at breakfast Good value for money.
Review 72:Poor service in adjoining restaurant. Also, had to ask for extra towelsas there were only enough for one guest and the booking stated 2. Bedlinen not changed after first night despite coffee stain. In the end Itook the covers off.
Review 73:Friendly staff. Good location. Quiet.
Review 74:Room was very dated compared to other premier inn hotel's and wasnothing like the image on website. It wasn't worth the price paid.Had to pay to use wi-fi and there was no complimentary biscuits in roomlike other premier inn hotel'S. Would not stay here again.
Review 75:Comfortable bed and pillows
Review 76:Our room was noisy with the hum of the air con all night. We overlooked the bins and that was where members of staff smoked. It was a warm night/morning. Not very pleasant to have window open and smell cigarette smoke.
Review 77:Location was good. Easy motorway access. Convenient for overnight stay as we attended a wedding nearby.
Review 78:Stayed for a friends wedding 3 miles away at Oakwell Hall. What youexpect from a Premier Inn. Clean, bed was comfy and the shower good. Thestaff were very friendly and breakfast was ample for the price.
Review 79:Far from the Leeds city center, but was ok as I was attending a party close to the hotel location.
Review 80:Big room, comfy bed, very friendly and helpful staff.
Review 81:Room not particularly warm and had to ask for additional portable heater. Shower gel and hand soap dispensers both empty.
Review 82:Location and reasonable value. The guy on reception very helpful despite him being on duty for almost 24 hours due to the bad weather.
Review 83:night porter did a very loud early morning call to the opposite room at 6am and woke me up. The floor between the upper and lower floors are not sound proofed at all and the peron in the room above then kept me awake whilst walking backwards and forwards around their room for the next hour and a half. fine if you want to get up early!!
