Review 1：FILTHY carpets, bed sheets and door handles etc. The bed sheet and pillow cases had not been changed for a LONG time; in fact it was awful. Only savour was the duvet from the spare single bed. Duvet covers where nice, ironed and clean so we slepted fully clothed on top of the 'made' bed and draped the spare duvet over us, covered over the pillows with the towels provided, and turned on the heating. Also although 'non smoking' it stinks of smoke, which was additionally very unpleasant. Fortunately only paid £20 for 1 night as if paid £55 I would have been even more cross than I was. Shame really but if they sack the cleaners, and get some in who actually clean and it would be a very good place to stay, but for now bring your own bedding... No I seriously mean bring your own bedding, detol wipes and be prepared to never take your shoes off.

Review 3：It was very dirty; floors, doors and even the plates and cutlery were also very dirty! Very poorly kept, wooden bath panel was falling off with sharp edging! Wasn't pleasant at all.

Review 6：It was miles from shops or other amenities. MJB'S organisation and communication were appalling as entrance code was sent late and email giving permission to park did not arrive at all. I had to phone twice to confirm it.

Review 8：The apartment was not the one advertised it was in a very bad state of repair and had dirty linen on the beds! I complained, didn't stay and was refused quite rudely any form of compensation for the 4 nights we had booked, being told they make plenty of money by the exceptionally rude manager. I am still disputing this with them.
Review 9：No staff present at apartment. Our pin code to gain access to the roomhadn't arrived, so sat outside for an hour while trying to contactowners. Phone number just went to an answer phone and still haven'treplied three days later. Booking.com eventually got us the access codesand wish they hadn'T. There was no hot water, the whole apartmentwas absolutely filthy. (Pictures available) and smelt of what can onlybe described as a mixture of stale urine and cigarette smoke. Thenumerous air fresheners dotted around didn't disguise it. Thecrockery pots pans and cutlery were filthy but only matched the doors,toilet, bedding, walls and doors. The furniture pictured on booking.combears no resemblance to the sparse shabby stuff in the apartment. Allwindows were blacked out and the bedroom window latch was broken leavingthe window open and unsecured. Not safe on a ground floor apartment. Theblock is situated in the middle of a run down council estate and has noamenities near. I wouldn't let my dog sleep in a place like this.The weekend was booked by my 16 year old daughter who wanted myself andmy wife to have a relaxing weekend after I had just been diagnosed withcancer. Not what we got. Do not book with this company. Even after e-mailing pictures they refused (via booking.com) to admit liability/responsibility and refused to move us. Will not use booking.comagain until they remove this company from their listing.

Review 11：All well except the heating was not working. Had to stay in the property for two days without proper heating. Radiators not working in bedrooms. Also no shower only bath facility.

Review 17：Bedoom smelt damp and fusty, requested earlier check in however when got there bathroom floor was flooded, damp towels left on one of the beds. about 3.oclock a foreign couple just let themselves in and said they were the cleaners and they had until 4pm to tidy the apartment?!! which they then proceeded to do sort of !

Review 21：Was not a hotel, it was an apartment block in a council estate. car park had fence panels on the floor.The front door to our room did not shut or lock. left us feeling vulnerable from the start. noisy, cold draft coming through windows , smelly. dirty mouldy glasses. horrible neighbours banging on our door demanding we move our car. was there an hour before we got in our car and drove a 4 hour drive home late at night after attending a our loved ones funeral. will be demanding a refund.

Review 23：This place is a disgrace, it was smelly, filthy, dirty and disgusting.There were stains on the sheets, bits and hairs in the beds, the floor,doors and kitchen were filthy and no shower in the bathroom. Ididn't see any cockroaches but it would have been no surprise if Idid! The staff from the company were rude and unhelpful. We ended upbooking a different & very lovely B&B from roughly the sameprice as the place was too revolting to sleep in. Do not stay here!!!!!!

Heating very limited - the socket for the main electric fire was broken, though we managed to plug it in elsewhere and the storage heaters did not work

Review 39：Everything.. Firstly it is advertised as a hotel it isn'T. Thepictures of the rooms show something clean and modern, this is not thecase... It gets worse... Once you book you will receive an email withcodes for doors and plenty of other rules. I entered the flat, yes aflat. This so called hotel is in the heart of a residentialneighbourhood. With no local amenities in sight. However the flat wastidy but dark lighting is poor, the was a smell of dampness, the flatwas cold, the bedding was scruffy and seemed uncleaned with light stainson pillow slips. In the correspondence you are provided with a couple oftel no should there be any problems, I tried to call these around 20mins after arrived to try and get a guide to adjust the heating... Istopes trying after several minutes and stayed at a very nice andaffordable premier inn just a couple of miles away. Do not book thisunder any circumstance... You will be disappointed I am seeking a fullrefund and an apology... Booking.com are very helpful

Review 46：The other flat we booked in the big block was old and very smelly. All the problems others said are true. No shower, only bath, no hanger, no dinning table, just to mention a few. It is a shame as all these can be easily rectified.

First night one of these 3 (apartment nr.8) In the middle of the night we arrived at the apartments and found out the staff gave our apartment away to 2 other people who had problems with opening the lock of his own apartment door. So the staff gave them one of our apartments. When i called the staff, they said that this person was not ment to be there and i had to make them leave our apartment. In witch i sayed , come over and do it your self. In which he replied no its a one hour drive for me i won't do that.. Finally we slept in two apartments with 11 people with 4 double beds, so 3 people had to sleep on the floor you can imagine that this is no the way it should be..next day i couldn't reach anyone of the staff.. . There where no showers ..it Was smelly lets say stinking.. there was a brown stain in my towel.. en so on so on..it was bad. you can imagine that i rate the whole situation bad. I want a refund atleast for one of the apatments..

Review 54：Arrived at 7.30 pm. We were provided with an incorrect code to the room, and we didn't get into the room untill after 9, after being told to call 3 different numbers. After getting into the room, we then had to leave to purchase plates and cups as the ones provided were filthy, and the hot water was less than a trickle. 1.30am, we had other guests enter the room, as they had been given the same room as us. Very badly organised, very untidy, and I will not recommend, or use them again.
Review 55：It should be noted when doing the reservation that the confirmation and the doorcodes arrive later (= how late?) in to the given e-mail. In my case I had already left for my journey from Finland, didin't have internet connection so there was no way I could find out the door code. Fortunately I had a phone w/ me. The smell in the apt wasn't pleasant. (The first floor apt.) There were no instructions anywhwere in the house/corridor. Without friendly neighbours or the print of the reservation we would have been in trouble. The sheets looked a bit dirty.

Review 73：Arriving. This was an abandoned apartment, Seriously in need of refurbishment and shouldn`t be allowed on Booking.com. I felt pressured after booking but before arriving, I received an email with lots of rules and regulations how the property should be left. Never met anyone my entire stay and they send you a code for the electronic lock on the front door. I would not advise this property to anyone traveling around this area until they either clean it and bring it up to a decent standard or a complete refurbishment as I mentioned earlier.
Review 74：Leaving, Size was good value although it was a bit smelly of wet dog in the front room. Kitchen was accommodating although massively under stocked if on a short visit. Full size bathroom, No shower! Private car park, Rules apply!. Text details upon arrival but not before. Reading the poor reviews yet continue with the booking. Review 75：When we walked in we noticed all the dirty marks all over walls and the doors. There wan't any blinds attached to the windows they where lay on the window sill. When you was walking around there was no privacy, we was on the second floor but it didn't feel any more private. The bed that we slept on was about 4" too small for the bed frame.

Rang to ask about this and was told complaints dept would deal with it, and would not accept this made a stay very difficult with a young family. Was told to get off the phone line as hogging a very busy business - tried to explain this was because MJB requested complaints only by email and would ignore phone calls, but as yet have still ignored emails. Prior to going to this accommodation I rang MJB concerned about some of these reviews and the lady said they did not respond to these complaints on booking.com as they were just opinions and not valid. This seems to sum up this accommodation. My real question here is how can booking.com continue to list them with such continuous negative reviews. I tried to call booking.com but the lines were busy so emailed to request a call back to which I received an email saying please call us. If neither the accommodation nor booking.com will do anything about this property group (MJB) all customers can do is a) refuse to go to MJB and b) continue to take this up with booking.com. I have never been disappointed with a property before, so this was a real surprise to me, and the terse, impolite, uncaring and now based on the facts of my (our) trip (not opinion), MJB to me seem completely untrustworthy. If a property as listed as self catering it has to facilitate this in gull. A working microwave without prior notice so I can only buy microwaveable meals is useless except to warm up drinks or meals (which I could not cook). Oh and by the by, we had to clean everything - crockery, bath, sinks, etc. Be prepared!

There was nowhere to put any clothing we spent the first hour cleaning the property we accept that some painting is needed but there is no excuse for dirt. Also the door code is the only lock to your room there us no other way to lock your door, yet you would think they change the key code but No as someone else staying there who I spoke to knew our door code ? WHY

Review 96：The apartment was much better than expected from reviews being a 2 bedroomed flat, and comfortable for grown up daughter and self. The carpets were badly stained and only one knife and saucepan lid for potentially 3 people but as we were just there overnight to attend a funeral and did not cook this was not a problem to us.

Review 99：We were put in Caxton court not Elizabeth court. Nowhere on booking.com was this place advertised totally misrepresented. The place was dirty and dusty with insects dead and alive. There were inadequate facilities no wardrobe, shower not even a mirror. It was in a rough area and we did not feel safe staying we left early and cut short our holiday.
Review 100：The one I stayed in is a one bedroom but they have put two double beds in the room and a single in the living area. This was off putting.There was also a stale slight smell to the property.Although I do feel that if extra care was taken with cleaning and a updated bathroom suit was fitted the property would benefit in the long run.
Review 101：Having used Elizabeth court a number of times it suits my needs . It's a lovely flat with a good kitchen/living area. It's value for money. But it could be improved in areas.
Review 102：The tea cups were dirty, there was blood staind on the bed sheets, there was coffee thrown up the wall in the bedroom. The windows wouldnt shut properly. We only needed one bedroom but they charged us for 2!

Review 114：There was only a tiny window to ventilate the sitting room and kitchen, and it had been shut all day when I arrived.It was a very warm day and the flat was like a sauna.The windows are rotten and do not open except in the bedroom,and being ground floor were closed.

Review 117：Booking/check in/accessing the property/parking was all easy and straight forward, handy not to have to worry about keys. Was like a home from home for our stay, we felt comfortable and relaxed.
Review 118：Imagine walking in a room full of damp and a dodgey drug smell. Multiple it by 10 and that is exactly how the apartment smelt on arrival. There were silver fish in the bathroom and I think everyone in Kings Lynn had used the towels provided. There's no shower (wouldn't of used it anyway) and the place had not even been hoovered. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay not even for how cheap it was. We was also provided with the wrong room code and when I called to find it out I think we had rudely woken the chappy up at 5pm!
Review 119：This is the second time we have used MJB and unfortunately on both occasions they did not forward the pass code on time,they state they will e-mail details the day before travel..on this occasion they sent it on the same day as we travelled down.....Booking. Com were very helpful and all was well...apart from this everything went smoothly and we will use the apartments in the future.

Review 121：Booked at the last minute.Living around four hours drive to Kings Lynn we would have been half way there when conformation and room number/door codes were e-mailed so could not get into the hotel.If we had stayed there would have been extra charges for parking,again because the e-mail was not received explaining to text the vehicle registration number.

Please note American Express cards are not accepted.Please note there is no reception or staff at the property. Guests will be sent a code in order to let themselves in within 1 day prior to arrival. MJB cannot give these codes out over the telephone, so please provide a valid email address and a mobile number when booking. Guests will be advised of their property details once the booking has been confirmed.One free parking space is available to you for the duration of your stay, subject to availability. A link will be sent to you after booking to reserve your parking space.
