Review 1：Spacious villa, well equipped kitchen, could do with a cloth and spray to wipe down tops. Bedrooms comfortable and enough storage space. A good position to explore surrounding area.

Review 3：Very well equipped, modern house. Everything you could want was there. Good bathroom and downstairs cloakroom.
Review 4：Great self contained house to stay in near Padstow. The place had all the amenities you could want and was well placed only 3 miles away from Padstow sea front. Great if you have children as there was plenty of space but as you have a separate living room once they are in bed you can relax or watch a film etc.
Review 5：Position on the site was poor as we weren't keen on being with non holiday makers. No blind in landing window this was very poor as you needed to cross the landing to go to the bathroom. Many light bulbs not working in a number of rooms. Batteries in remote control for bedroom tv not working. Window in lounge very poor fit with large gap when closed and cold with wind coming in. Smelt of dogs in the lounge.

Review 8：Location was perfect for everything that we wanted to visit, although you will need a car if staying here. Accommodation was clean and had everything that we needed, large tesco near by for anything else. Would definitely recommend this property.

Review 10：We liked the property, it was neat and tidy. The only problem was with the mattresses they were worn out. If they put hotel quality mattresses in it would have been perfect.
Review 11：I couldn't believe arriving at property on a Sunday at 4pm and not being able to access the villa after lying so much money. The code you gave for the prospect was incorrect we had to wait 2hrs to find someone to access property after a 5hrs drive not impressed!!! How they can then charge the rates when you are in a cheap home site is unbelievable. The washing machine door broke so couldn't get washing out, until next day, will not stay again. The propert is stated as in St Merryn, it is 1-5miles to village with no footpaths so you cannot walk into it. Car was needed. Very disappointed and need some sort of reply! After paying £750 for 3 nights for a 2 bedroom 1 shower property in its location is unfair!

Review 14：The only negative was the lack of information on checking in. There didn't appear to be any central reception building, we had to call the resort who them gave us intructions on how to obtain our keys from a safe. This was fine, however, it would have been nice to receive the instructions beforehand with the booking confirmation.

Review 22：The house/villa was perfect for what we needed, good sized rooms, kitchen etc. The onsite store is good for snacks etc but you'll struggle if you want ingredients to cook a meal
Review 23：The bed mattress, it sinks a lot, so I woke up both of days with pain in my back, also the couple on the next room had the same complaining.
Review 24：The Villa was very clean, very modern, very pretty, this is just like I would want my future house to be. Keys keeper is very nice as well as the cleaning lady. They had milk and tea for us and house is fully equipped. Heating is also very fast.
Review 25：Check in weird , you had to collect keys from a safe at another house. A little bit further out of Padstow than we thought , but found a good local taxi firm

Review 29：TV did not work first night, despite calling helpline who could not help and gave us wrong house number to ask for assistance from staff based at villa complex. we had planned to cook a meal for those arriving later than ourselves on the first night and subsequent days but could not as the oven did not work! the oven and hob were very loose fits in the units.

Review 33：Bay Retreat Villas were lovely and very modern. They are just a short stay from Padstow and parking was very easy. Each villa had its own driveway! It was also nice to have a cloak room (powder room) on the first level. The rooms were all spacious.
Review 34：Did not see anyone the whole holiday. Keys picked up from safe outside one of the properties and keys posted there afterwards. However, if we needed assistance, there were numbers to call. But saying that, there was no mobile phone reception!

Review 38：I and another older lady friend stayed for few days at Bay Retreat and we enjoyed our time there. The accommodation was well equipped and very comfortable. Whilst there family called to visit and they were impressed with the accommodation, so much so that they are considering a visit themselves at some point.
Review 39：Make sure you read the instructions for out of hours key collection properly. Property no 26 is for staff, your property number will be on your envelope. Not always obvious late at night and in the dark. No internet or mobile reception. Mattress could have been more comfortable.
Review 40：Clean, modern retreat. Very quiet. Nice enclosed private, small decking and grassed area with chairs. Lovely spacious bedrooms. Clean bathroom and downstairs toilet.All kitchen appliances are here, they even supplied dishwasher tablets. (but not washing up liquid) handy shop and pub/restaurant. Dog walking close.
Review 41：Without air conditioning the rooms upstairs got very hot and it wasn't always easy to keep the windows open when it rained. Bed in the upstairs room was a slat bed but the slats hadn't been put in properly, just laid on top of the frame, so the bed collapsed the first time someone sat on it. But when we fixed it it stayed up and and was comfortable. Washer/Dryer was hard to figure out and unfortunately the handle broke off when we opened it (cheap appliance) but they sent someone straight round to fix it when we called (apparently happens all the time).

We were only passing through and just stayed for 2 nights and the villa more than met our needs. Excellent value for money, 4 adults and a teenager stayed.
