Review 1：A bit of a climb to get to the lodging, but that added to the views. It was mentioned that laundry facilities were available, but the dryer didn't work well at all.

Review 2：The staff couldn't have been better. We were greeted with a glass of wine and wonderful homemade pork snack. The location is close to several outstanding beaches. Nice balcony at the room and terrace to the side. In between the last two bus stops, so nice and quiet.

Review 5：It was close to the beaches, even the West part of the islands were reachable within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff. The studio is close to tavernas and super markets. The decor was very pleasent, one of my favorite, featering traditional Greek colours. I can highly recommend it.

Review 11：The location of the apartments is fantastic. It is situated in a pine and olive tree forest just a stone throw away from the most beautiful beeches on the island. The hospitality of Tasos the owner was amazing. He and the staff, Dorina and Evgenios, were extremely helpful and accommodated all of our needs. Tasos also gave us excellent suggestions for places, trips, restaurants and cafes to visit. The rooms were cleaned regularly and the standards of cleanliness are very high. We are planning to come back again!

Review 12：The property had a long and difficult walk and it wasn't mentioned so it was very uncomfortable to do such a long and steep walk to get to our room. And payment was required by cash although the confirmation we could pay by credit card very unprofessional

Also very clean sheets and towels changed regularly. Would definitely stay at the same complex if I visit the island again. Would reccommend it too others.

Review 17：Room was very clean and comfortable...Koukounaries beach 5 minutes walking distance but also Bananas and Agia Eleni beach very close, up to 10 minutes. Great hospitality and pleasent environment.

Review 18：We were expecting a one bed apartment as defined in the booking form. You should note that ALL rooms are very basic and are studio Apartments, with No separate kitchen or bedroom and the washing machine room is across the open yard. Difficult to get the management to fully understand the difference between studio and one bedroom apartment..

Review 19：After the initial disappointment over the room type we had a very enjoyable stay. Bit of a slog (As noted else where) up the hill to the apartment but you can make it much easier by traversing back and forth across the car park. Very easily placed for the beach less than 5 minutes walk on a flat road, or a gate directly opposite the entrance takes you into the conservation area around the lake to the beach. Nearest Naturist beach is only 15 minutes walk or there's an alternative naturist beach around 20 minutes. All beaches in the area are super clean soft yellow sand, gently sloping making them ideal for young children. On departure day our case was left with the management until 16:00 no hassle. Next time we want to stay a couple of months.

Review 20：Perfect location, very friendly, very polite staff, the owner and the lady that was taking care of the rooms were both very nice people. The rooms are simple but nice!

Review 21：the walk up a very steep hill to the property is not good for people with walking problems. there isnt a great deal of storage space for your clothes.

Review 24：Amazing place full of people from all over. Friendly caretakers and guests. 5 minutes from the 2 best beaches on the island, near to a few restaurants and the supermarket. Long bus ride into town, but well worth staying closer to the beach!

Review 25：I didnt like the sound of the peacocks that live nearby and stroll in the yard.Ok, they are gorgeous to see, but they also have unpleasant voices. Luckily enough, they are usually quiet at night.

Review 26：I loved the place where the hotel is situated. From its balconies all you see is pine trees and olive trees, and the lake Strofilia, a bit further. You see absolutely no buildings (although there are some nice restaurants nearby, you dont see them because of the trees). It gives you the sensation that you are in the middle of a forest, but Kukunaries beach is only 5 minutes away. And you can reach the famous Banana Beaches on foot, from a path far more picturesque than the street that they use those who use cars.

Review 30：We liked staying at Aelia studios so much - the location is probably the best one in the Koukounaries area. Very quiet, full of greenery, close to several beautiful beaches (Koukounaries, Banana, Ambelakia, Agia Elleni) and at the same time close enough to the restaurants and the supermarket. Moreover our little boy loved playing in the garden, there was also a little playground within the shade of the trees. The room was cosy and clean and we found there everything needed for our one week stay. There was an awesome view from the balcony - of the sea, lagoon and the surrounding forests. Thassos, the manager, was very helpful.

Review 39：its a renewable block of apartments with an everyday room cleaning service. it has a very good location near koukounaries wich is the greatest beach in the island.The manager Mr Tasos is an excelent and friendly person and is ready to do the best for you..great hospitality..

Review 42：Mosquitos were the biggest problem we faced, because that directly impacted the quality of our sleep. It was either to be eaten alive, to be drugged up with mosquito repellents (that both me and my girlfriend are sensitive to), or to seal the doors and windows and turn the ac unit on (not an option with us). Internet or/and Wi-Fi connection is fair enough for basic use, but for something more serious, it just wouldn’t be satisfactory. At least at room 201, the reception was poor and the connection unreliable.

Review 43：For someone who enjoys peace, beautiful view, breathtaking beaches and wildlife, I believe this is the best possible location on the island. All of the best beaches are within 10 minute reach: some of them by foot, some of them by car or motorcycle. The host, Tasos, is a real professional, but at the same time very pleasant and friendly person. He was always there to help us with our questions, you knew the answer in advance: “Yeees..!” The cleaning staff, two cheerful young ladies, fit in the same category. Peacocks patrolling the garden, with rabbits showing up from time to time, plus the nearby biotope full of wildlife… it’s just a wonderful experience to spend your vacation there!

Review 44：Great place a 10 min walk to Koukounaries Beach with a big balcony and a wonderful view. It's very clean, recently furnished and has everything you need in the kitchenette.

Review 45：The studio was very clean, towels and sheets were changed every two days and complete cleaning was done each day. The view is magnificent, the position is great, closest accomodation to Koukounaries beach. HD TV in the room, with HD channels (DVB-T), air conditionning included, hair drier, shampoo, soap and shower gel. Very comfortable beds and mattresses. Beds are suitable for taller persons persons who like to sleep with their feet on the outside. Free WiFi, accessible in the room, although the coverage was not very good. But what impressed me most is the warmth of Mr. Tassos, the owner, who is easily one of the most helpful and friendly persons that we ever met in our holidays. A truly great experience.

Review 46：If there has to be a negative then the only thing I could say is that because of the slope from the road up to the studios it could prove difficult for people with mobility problems. Otherwise "none"

Review 47：Where to start? Everything is top-notch. All the rooms have been completely refitted for 2014 with new bathrooms, kitchens, air con (no extra charge for a change) and flat screen tv's (granted for UK visitors only BBC News but better than the option for most places) and last but by no means the least is free WiFi so bring your laptop. Nicely decorated throughout and with well equipped kitchen for basic meals. Sounds like an advert so far but that's the way it is.

Review 48：I have no reservations in allotting Aelia studios the highest acolade. It was very clean, very friendly management and efficiantt staff. Tasos was friendliness personified. A beautiful and quiet location, but not too far from the maddening crowd if that's your thing. I have no hesitation in recommending Aelia studios to fellow travellers. I wish Tasos every success in his venture and will definitely return if holidaying in Skiathos again. Thank you Tasos and staff.

Review 49：Very close to the most beautifull beach, very clean (they cleaned the roon every day), kitchen utilities very enough for watever you wanted to cook. Administrator was a very warm and pleasant person, the view to the sea and lake is real and extraurdinary in the morning. A quite and beautiful zone.
