Review 1：Poor welcome, they forgot the welcome drinks, nomros We're ready and they had no idea of who had booked what. Room was over an hour late being made ready. When it was there were only 2 bath towels, no hand towels(they appeared the next day), the room was big but dated and needed painting. We had paid for a deluxe seaview room and paid over $300/night for a room worth no more than 150. There were no towels for the pool and once we asked we waited over an hour. Nobody staffing pool bar on the Saturday all day. Food was average at best apart from teppanyaki which was excellent. On the second night after a heavy rainfall the bathroom in our room smelt of raw sewage. Resort also massively overpriced $9 for a warm can of Bintang. Do not stay here

Review 2：A couple of the staff were excellent at their jobs and could not be faulted. Quiet location

Review 3：Lack of dining options, the quality of the food, the level of cleanliness, the poor condition of the beach, the resort is in need of proper maintenance and an overhaul. For the amount paid, we were expecting at least comparable standard to some of the Bintan resorts. The staff were a combination of pleasant to indifferent to just clueless.

Review 6：I was at this resort from 24-26th of December! This was my first time spending Christmas out of Singapore! Me and my partner were celebrating our anniversary too! We arrived a the resort and I had my mind blown away! This place was just breathtakingly beautiful! Beyond and words that can describe, they were having a complimentary Christmas on the first night of our stay, the dinner had a very nice setting, good food and music too, after the dinner we took a stroll down the jetty which is about 220m long(good for night walks with your lover, the view was amazing and so was the sea breeze!(totally missing all of it now) we chill at the jetty for some time before we called it a night. (FYI the rooms were just perfect!) The next morning we had breakfast, there was a whole lot of food in the buffet line lots of variety and food was good too! While we were having our breakfast at the table and admiring the view from the restaurant, A friendly staff brought us a cake for our anniversary and wish us happy anniversary! We were both lost for words for a second! We thanked him! We really appreciate that the resort went to this extend to help us celebrate our anniversary! We really are thankful for the gesture! We did alot of walking by the beach and just chilling at the jetty... Because a place like this has to be admired for its beauty! The rest of our trip was Fantastic and there was no hiccups. I recommend everyone visiting this place and celebrating a special day here, don't think twice because of the price or whatsoever, just make a reservation and you'll know what you have missing! I am already planning my next trip here!

Review 7：No kids club. No wifi A lot of mozzie Should improve the safety at the beach, the water sports were too close to those swimming. Speed boat were everywhere

Review 9：there was a staff at the restaurant who kept "reminding" us to move away from the restaurant soonest possible cos they need to prepare for lunch. He could have been more polite to handle the situation since we were still having our brekkie. No full range of shower needs provided. (No hair conditioner)

Review 10：The staff at the counter are relatively warm and welcoming. Attended to our requests within their capabilities. The proximity to the beach and ferry terminal is wonderful. Staff were very patience coaching us on the how-to for the extreme sports. Kudos to them!

Review 11：Vegetarians food options are almost non existent.Lots of mosquitoes or other insects that bite. Massage is quite expensive relative to what is available in other parts of batam. Free WiFi is very unreliable and amost non existent in most parts of the resort. Paid WiFi works much better. Indonesian Mobile networks rarely work in this resort's location. Malaysian mobile network have a stronger signal. Even Singapore networks were working better in some parts.

Again the romantic candlelight dinner which was hold near to seaside with well decoration on the hut. Once again, thank you so much.

Review 17：When booking I indicated for 3 person. But registered I was told to pay extra 910000 x 2 days plus cost of extra bed. I habe to pay additional 2 million plus rupiah for extra one adult. Very costly. Normally when I stayed at other hotel, I only pay for extra bed coat. Your staff at the counter told that it is the hotel policy. Sighhhh

Review 39：Every single thing about this resort. Let me start with numbers so thatpeople do not make a mistake by going there.1.when we arrived in the morning it was too late to check in. So we went to Batam centre and only returned around 6.30 pm. Our room was dirty! Used towels were hanging in the toilet. And the previous users rubbish was still in the room. 2.We were a group of 3 friends and we're told to pay extra SGD $91 for extra person.But irony is, they charge you SGD and don't allow you to pay in Singapore dollars. We were asked to pay in rupiah and they exchange rate was very high. 3. So after paying for 3rd person when we got to the room only to have bed for 2 people and towels for 2. No bed towels or anything for the 3rd person. 4.we called room service to clean up their mess only to receive service 1 hour later. 5.we also arranged for a birthday cake as it was my friends birthday. Called for the cake at 7pm.called them 4 times and the cake finally came when we were going to sleep at 9.30pm!!! 6.we paid so much for the beach front only to get trees blocking our room and worse still no WiFi in the room. $380 sgd we could have stayed in a 5 star hotel! 7.they said WiFi cost $20 for 24 hours. Everything charged in SGD which is ridiculous because we were Indonesia!! 8.breakfast was also terrible but they had a wide variety with flies all over. 9.bedsheets had killed mosquito stains and towels had people's coil of hair in it. 10.lastly we were too angry and annoyed and wanted to leave the resort, they only engage in a certain taxi company which charges you a flat rate of taxi fare which is $5 more. They receptionist refused to call a cab that runs by meter for us. 11.they didn't even apologise for the dirty room and we had to throw the towel out our selves! Totally disappointed and will NEVER RETURN TO THIS RESORT!

Review 45：We did the honeymoon deal. The room they gave us needs updating and a good clean. Sheets were not the cleanest and the bathroom was dirty. The room was just abit plain and dull. A painting and maybe some cushions for the hard wooden chairs "like the pictures shows" would have been nice. Our fridge was broken and in the deal we were to receive a free mini bar and fruit basket. Our fridge was empty and no fruit. We called 4 times over 5 hours until we received these. I would describe the place like a 70's American holiday camp abit like the one in the Dirty Dancing film. If your going to relax and have couple time I would go somewhere else. If you have kids and you like the UK Butlin's kind of theme then this place would suit you. Lucky we weren't on our honeymoon! we just done the deal as it looked good. Sadly we were very disappointed.

Review 49：We were in when housekeeping came so we asked them to return later. Before we left, we informed the front desk as well. However the room wasn't made up when we got back which irked us somewhat but it wasn't a deal breaker. It was made up the next day. Good as new. Bed was a little too soft for my liking but that's just a personal preference.

Review 50：The Emerald pool was great - water wasn't overly chlorinated and the deepest depth was around 1.6m or so. Didn't try out the older pool but it looked clean and goes as deep as 2.8m. Breakfast selection was varied and tasty.

Review 51：Few activities, with only a swimming pool and some basic water sports. Lack of entertainment facilities typical of resorts. Wifi is not free, which is absurd, considering most cafes and eateries provide free wifi nowadays. Beach is almost non-existent, only the size of 1.5 x tennis court size.

Review 63：With the friendly staffs around it made our stay a memorable one. Which includes the Front Office Manager that bid us goodbye. Though our room is pretty creepy as its just next to a mini forest, overall its an exceptional resort.

Review 64：1.NO free wifi connection. 2.Housekeeping is minimum, the room and bed does not feels fresh nor inviting. 3. For family with young kids, the only enjoyable activity is the swimming pool. More facilities, e.g. playground, water features, etc. is needed.

Most of all, I adored the hotel staff honesty and integrity. My wife's phone went missing somewhere at the hotels vicinity, and it was return by the hotel staff itself. Overall experience was enjoyable.

Review 92：I loved the staff and the facilities. Our room were less than 10m away from the beach so you could hear the waves crash when you're in your room. A really relaxing stay. While the city was a distance away, getting a cabbie for 4 hours costed about 30sgd and he drives you everywhere. We had a great time.

Review 95：-Food options were not enough to stay for 3 more days. There were only two restaurants. Cafe had a buffet plan and the local food menu. Teppanyaki restaurant provided fusion Japanese menu, grilled meat and seafood. The breakfast buffet were less choices. Furthermore the foods became half options after 9:30 because these were not refilled. -Several deck chairs at a poolside, it was not enough for all guests. Pool towels were always "no more...". -Many aggressive mosquitoes attacked us all night. I saw mosquitoes at a poolside, an elevator hall and our room. I woke up several times per night due to strong itchy. You should bring coils and a medicine for insect bites.

Review 96：- Our room at TIARA Wing was lovely, wooden, simple and nice designed interior. Room size was large, space was kept at clean and good conditions. It was so comfortable. -Good transportation, Free shuttle bus service from Nongsa Ferry terminal which is operated between Singapore and Batam.

Review 97：They ran out of pools towels at 12noon. And didn't replenish it the whole day. It happened on both days. Their room condition was bad too..I got bed bug bites after 1 night.

Review 101：When we booked our 14 day stay we asked for a room high up, but on arrival we were 'upgraded' to a room by the sea next to the jungle. It was filled with large ants crawling around in our bed and they had really painful bites. Also underneath the lowest madrass it was leftovers of food, pubic hairs and used toilet paper, really discusting ! We had planned to stay 14 days but checked out after 5 hours and left to a much better hotel on the Island. We would not commend this place to anyone.

Review 102：The location is nice but a bit far away from Nagoya. The beach would have been nice if it had not been so much trash lying around.

Review 109：Location: One needs to budget sgd 30 for each trip outside as there isnothing within walking distance (not even a 7eleven). However this alsoapplies to most of the other resorts.Wifi is not included in the price of the room, budget sgd 20 per day if you want to have wifi in the room. Check in Despite being almost void of guests ( mid week) I was asked to wait 45 minutes until the room is ready, this was reduced after I pointed this out. An old and not particularly clean fridge (empty too) was the centerpiece of the room, otherwise the room was generally ok. Yes - as many have also written, there are mosquitos but there is lots of vegitation so what else should one expect. Bathroom: not cleaned properly and nothing that a good scrub wouldn't fix either (but I didn't come here to clean the bathroom). I thought the opened and half finished complimentary after-sun cream was a nice touch. Other than changing the towels there wasn't much evidence of cleaning, items of rubbish around the sink remained untouched during the stay. Check out: No inquiries if everything was ok, or if I enjoyed the stay, just: 'here is the amount' and 'your credit card please'. Quite a few people have written here that they were not satisfied with the general cleanthliness of the rooms, I would tend to agree with them.

Review 111：This is my 2nd time here... Checking in is a breeze... They gave a free upgrade to our room in which we refused as we prefer rooms at the Tirta Wing instead of the Riani Wing... Room is clean n spacious... The view is amazing... Very peaceful... Me n husband love it very much.. Would definitely come again in near future...

Review 114：Didn't deliver request of adjoining rooms despite 2 months' notice and confirmation that they are able to give this to us. Then staff tried to argue what "adjoining" rooms meant. Room given to us was ant-infested. Ants got to our toothpaste and other items. Overnight, our baby had at least 10 ant bites. Cut our trip short and left first thing that morning. Pool also had an open rusty drain - dangerous for kids.

Review 123：The major thing that was a bit of a let down was that there was no complimentary wifi in the rooms. Wifi was charged at $20/day which was quite expensive. The riani section of beach was 'off limits' and a little dirty. Lastly, the massage was a little bit on the expensive side.

Review 124：We loved the ambiance of the whole resort!! It really gave us the relaxing holiday we were looking for! And the room was beautiful and had that rustic island feel that me and my girlfriend absolutely loved! We loved the fact that when we open the room door and we can see a stretch of the private beach and feel the sea breeze. By just relaxing in the room was already a treat! The facilities on the resort was very good as well. Especially the fact that it was very clean! The staff was fantastic! They were very patient even when I pestered them for things. They also had the initiative to actually double check with you when there are conflicting instructions from you.

We had to wait 3 hours at resortlobby area, before heading to airport for 16.45pm flight.When ordering taxi's they are private cars and cost more than metered taxi's. From Airport to hotel by taxi 60,000rup, hotel to airport 100,000rup by private car. Pricing is to high for the room amenities. Lack of Information in Rooms. Prices in SGD, but when you pay its all converted to Rupiah. You pay in SGD you get Rupiah back. So double whammy. Conversion rate the hotel uses is very high.
