Reviews for Bryn Mor Beach Hotel
Review 1:No hot water or heating in our room in the evening. However, this was just one of those things, as the boiler had broken down. It was fixed by the morning.
Review 2:Ram was a great host! Loved the location with a very pretty, clean beach just a few steps away.
Review 3:Chilly public areas. Instant coffee.
Review 4:Very welcoming. Great location on Dinas Dinlle beach, with easy access to Caernarfon and other interesting places to visit. Fabulous Indian food, including Indian breakfast option.
Review 5:the indian meal we had was very extortionate it was very basic but the price was over priced which was very disappointing especially we ordered 1 basic vegtable curry 2 nans and 2 samosa came to £28.00 or so

Review 15:From the minute we got there it was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Will definitely be staying there again.
Review 16:As I do not eat curry I found the evening menu a bit limited but as others like curry this is not a complaint
Review 17:Friendly welcome by owner and family attentive service and excellent breakfast
Review 18:Rooms very small - hardly enough room for us and cases. The room was dimly lit - needed more lights. Bathroom needed more accessible shelves to store toiletries. Danger in room = 4 point extension cable located on surface NEXT to kettle.
Review 19:Extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful owners. Good to see dogs welcomed.
Review 20:very thin walls and neighbours were easily heard.
Review 21:Ram and his family made us most welcome, and ram should be on stage. The food was amazing and the curry we had was brilliant.and all on site.
Review 22:We could feel the springs through the mattress , the only possible begative
Review 23:Friendly owners and were very helpful. Cooked us dinner even though we arrived 30 mins after they stopped serving
Review 24:We enjoyed every minute. The food was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Tea and coffee available in each room, with a fridge to keep milk etc. cool...TV in each room The staff and family were so helpful.
Review 25:No, all was great.
Review 26:A group of 20 running club members stayed for one night before a race. The hotel had everything we could have wanted. A great communal sitting area for us all to chill out together in the evening. The rooms were very comfortable. Ram was exceptionally accommodating with our breakfast times as some of us had to be out very early. Also, breakfast was served to individual requirements. We had a brilliant time at the Bryn Mor Beach and we will definitely be back.
Review 27:Ram and Mrs Ram are great hosts - they make you feel welcome and cannot do enough to assist you in enjoying your stay. The Indian restaurant is great value and really tasty home cooked food - after climbing Snowdon it really does the trick in warming you up and refueling your energy. The showers are hot and the beds comfy and the breakfast is plentiful and tasty. This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and it won't be the last.
Review 28:Peacefull and relaxing, breakfast was very good and the host came back and asked if you wanted anymore. The host was always available but we did not need to ask many questions. I will tell all my friends and family about the B&B. The area is quite but you are only a few miles away from all the attractions.
Review 29:No fresh fruit at breakfast
Review 30:Hospitality - outstanding host, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast Indian food in restaurant all homemade Well stocked bar!
Review 31:The facility is old and not sound isolated, bit noisy in the morning.
Review 32:India dinner is nice, even better than other indian restaurants. Close to the sea, could enjoy the sunset.
Review 33:The room was shabby, with dated decor, the bed was lumpy, the door had to be lifted to lock properly and the room was far from being sound proof.
Review 34:Both the evening meal and breakfast were appetising and good value. The host was very pleasant and welcoming.
Review 35:Couldn't get onto the wifi
Review 36:Staff were very friendly, didn't expect a cooked breakfast as it was cheap, room was very clean, would definitely be staying here again
Review 37:Noisy dog running around at 3am in the room next door. Walls are not sound proof. Glasses & ketchup bottles not clean.
Review 38:The person running the place was friendly and helpful.
Review 39:I have emailed the manager personally to say what an exemplary host he was in that he went out of his way to make my short stay an enjoyable one. I was served food as I checked in late (after meal times) and did not have to pay anything extra. Thank you very much Ram and I shall definitely be staying in Bryn Mor the next time I'm transitting through Caernarfon.
Review 40:The only thing I didn't like was somebody who was staying there with their dog wanted the dog with them all the time even whilst eating. Owners tried to please everyone not a problem with them at all but when eating in the bar area anybody with any consideration for anybody else would have put the dog it their room not where people where eating
Review 41:Staff were great couldn't do enough for you friendly and tried to please everyone even when we heard the way some of them spoke to them. Would recommend to anyone who didn't mind pets
Review 42:Sausages could be a better quality & bacon too well done. Choice of smoky bacon would be nice.
Review 43:The owners. Room. Pool table. Breakfast good. Everything in working order & clean.
Review 44:some of the poor reviews on here. This place doesn't deserve them! There is nothing bad to report here
Review 45:This is run by a husband and wife who are one of the most hospitable couples I know in this industry. Food is excellent, we were even treated to off menu treats! Food is excellent, none of that pre-cooked rubbish, this is proper home cooking. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated, some might say small but does that matter when they have a huge lounge with fab seating and free wifi in the communal areas. The place was lovely and warm too. We couldn't have been made more welcome. There is also a large bar area. I also liked that the hosts were totally committed to us having a good stay. I especially liked the ornaments and nick nacks which our hosts wife collects which made it feel very homely. We will definitely be back next year with more friends.
Review 46:We chose this hotel specifically for the price and the fact that it had an Indian Restaurant - we climbed Snowdon earlier that day and did not want to have to walk around a town looking for somewhere to eat - the food was excellent and the breakfast was huge - we had a great time at this hotel.
Review 47:Staff were very welcoming and the room was lovely and clean with enough space to put our travel cot up. The shower was nice and hot and the 3/4 bath was great for our daughter. Food was outstanding, we tried a homemade curry and it was delicious. Breakfast was also excellent. The sitting areas were very welcoming with a real fire being lit each evening and plenty of comfortable seating and space. We felt like we were at home and nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. This is a small and family friendly place (only 9 rooms) but also has enough space to sit quietly as a family or chat to other guests.
Review 48:Happy caring host had time for everyone and not treated as an number, Does need a little cosmetic work in certain areas but the warmth of this family establishment puts this as a minor
Review 49:First impression are not good the hotel looks a bit tired but the rooms and inside are clean and comfortable
Review 50:Nothing was to much trouble for Ram and his family the food is excellent you must try the indian food and Ram will keep bringing extra breakfast until you have had enough
Review 51:Scarse public transport, not much variety of breakfasts
Review 52:Quite, value for money, pleasant and friendly staff, fairly good access to other locations of interest if you have a car.
Review 53:Mr Ram his wife and daughter were so hospitable and welcoming, nothing was to much trouble, they all bent over backwards to make our stay as comfortable and as smooth as possible .There full english breakfasts are sublime and as much as you want ,with Mr Ram continually asking if you would like extra bacon, sausages or eggs with as much toast and cereals, tea and coffee you want. Evening meals were excellent as well, all in all a very good weeks break. We will be going back again that's for sure. Tony Robinson
Review 54:I liked everything.
Review 55:It only takes about 90 seconds to get from your bedroom on to the beach! En suite room had everything I needed, including a king size bed. Massive cooked breakfast in the morning including ceriels and toast. Hosts were very cheerful and polite. Scenic location.
Review 56:Nothing we didnt like.
Review 57:Family run business, made you very welcome. Breakfast was delicious with copious amounts of food and drink. Also being a restaurant is handy & Chip shop nearby.
