Review 7：The only fault I can find is the fact that the private bathroom doesn't have a toilet, but there was a toilet just a couple of paces from any room so it wasn't a problem.

Review 11：Actually only from Sunderland but myself and my partner fancied a change of scenery. We had a lovely day at the metro centre in Gateshead (ideal considering South Shields metro is literally 10 minutes from the hotel) we then enjoyed a curry on Ocean Road and had a lovely midnight stroll to the beach before turning back to the guest house. Absolutely delightful stay and Brenda (owner) was lovely, as were her three dogs! The room was immaculate and the bed was extremely comfy. Would definitely recommend!
Review 12：Nobody at home when we wanted to check in at 14.00 hours, but the proprietor arranged an alternative way to get our suitcases in a place to await her arrival from the market.

Review 22：It would of been nice if there was an outside area for us to sit down and have a drink but I think that's just how the buildings are. Or have a bar. But just being picky as there are pubs just a 2 minute walk and the prices are good.
Review 23：We were up for the Rugby League magic weekend and there were 6 of us staying. Brenda really help us out and made the room for us 6 to stay and even got new beds in for us. Very friendly owner and a great location by the sea side and a 10 minute walk to the metro.
Review 24：The host is extremely welcoming and nothing is any trouble. The breakfast was good quality and plenty of it. Great view from the big front bedroom. Whilst the shower was ensuite it was a shared toilet.
Review 25：Having the toilet in the hallway for 3 rooms to use. We had private shower and sink but it was a little awkward in the night unlocking the door and leaving the room to use the bathroom. Minor inconvenience though-would be very happy to stay there again.

Review 39：The seacrest is amazing value for money and ideally situated with short walk to town, beach just across the road. Brenda was the lovliest lady and so helpfull. I stayed in room 3 and have to say the bed was the comfiest i have ever slept in. The breakfast was cooked to perfection. It is a pleasure to stay in this guest house and i would highly recommend anyone to stay on their visit to shields. I will definatley return again. Cant say enough about the seacrest only it is the best guest house i have ever stayed in. Thanks :)
