Review 1：Our room was in an older section of the hotel, and our room was a bit unusual in that it was on two levels. There was a nice sofa, a coffee bar, and a full bath downstairs. Upstairs was a lovely bed and a WC. The only problem was that the connecting stairs were a tight spiral. I wish I had been advised about the steps when I made the reservation through Booking.com. When we saw the room, we were too hot and tired to bother about asking for a different room.
Review 2：Our room was large, and the service was impeccable. Soon after we arrived on a very hot summer day, a staff member came to the door with a complimentary cold fruit tea and an orange brioche for us. The service couldn't possible have been more gracious.
Review 3：For the price charged for the room the maintenance faults were inexcusable. However , once brought to the attention of the management, immediate fixes were made. The lack of wi-fi was irritating but outside the control of the hotel as there was an external fault with the Orange broadband service.
Review 4：Excellent room and first class service. The restaurant and the meal were superb and worth every centime.
Review 5：The bathroom is not properly separated from the bedroom and after two showers it is all very humid. Not enough textiles in the room. Sadly, Roanne is an amazingly unattractive town.
