Review 1：The room didn't look at all like in the picture. It was terrible, really old and smelly. I have no words for the bathroom, it felt like you are in a third world place from the '70. It had no hair dryer, the matress was also from the '70, the smell was of something old and rotten..the furniture was from 30 years ago, awful!!!!! And when we went to the reception they blame it on booking.com. They said that they didn't put the right pictures. I will make a separate claim to booking for this. But don't go there!!! Also they precharge you for one night and they give you the money back only ater one week.

Review 2：The pool was nice but they closed it at 7, the breakfast was really good and the view was great

Review 7：Breakfast variety and presentation was poor. Buffet during dinner was average For a 5* hotel Wifi should have been free. WiFi charges were extremely expensive. Finishes in renovated rooms were poor. During the last day there was heavy rain and reception did not even have an umbrella to share for transferring luggages into the car.

Review 9：- Booked a "Modern Room". Maybe it was modern in 1998... - The refrigerator was not working. Despite our numerous complains, it was never really fixed. - Very bad free wifi - We were informed by the hotel that if there was a double bed available, we would have one. Upon arrival, we were informed that the hotel does not have double beds at all, only twin beds that they join together to create a double one. - Staff borderline rude... - The swimming pool is much smaller than the one in the pictures. Overall, a very big disappointment for the money that we spent...

Review 10：- Really nice breakfast. - The staff at the restaurants was efficient. - The cleaning lady for the room 610 was really good and helpful with an issue that we encountered (tens of wasps in our balcony)

Review 13：4 stars hotel???????????? Very old room from seventies. Water leak oncorridor. Worn out carpet. Loose room door making a lot of noise,problem fixed after two nights. Dumb phone, window fixture eat by saltor woodworm. I'm surprised that booking.com did not inform about thedifferences between the rooms levels available.

We were already in Skiathos on a cheap self catering holiday and decided to book into the palace for our last night as a treat. The hotel upgraded us to a superior room free of change, and were very helpful and accommodating. We would recommend booking into the modern or superior rooms rather than the cheaper older ones as they look a bit dated. Would certainly come back.

Review 17：a) Despite the fact that a reservation was made through Booking, firstly a 'blocked amount' of 260.- was made on my credit card on Aug.3,2014 - and secondly, upon arrival (18th) the hotel demanded payment of1 day I.E. euro260 ,and debited my credit card accordingly... I think that it is absolutely unacceptable to be charged in this manner, as it looks as I'm not creditworth for the cost of the stay. It was embarassing as the stay was for 4 nights at a very costly price due to high season!b) The reservation I made through you stated that should I have dinner, the cost would be Euro 20 per person. I had dinner on the 18th, and was charged Euro 25! I was told that euro 20 would be applicable if I had reserved my hotel with dinner inclusive! 3) Young people, with no experience of customer handling at the Reception. 4) I stayed at the same hotel last year in July (5 nights) - so the hotel should (if they keep records) have a knowledge of their customers creditworthiness.

Review 19：The bed was hard as a rock ,the bedsheet were rough, we asked for double bed but got two twin beds pushed together. Never refilled the toiletries ,never removed food trays away , no room service menu in the room . Safe never worked despite our request ti fix it. We booked 2 rooms one superior double room for 2 and the second modern double room for single occupancy, at check in the staff told us they had upgraded the modern room to superior in order to be in the same side , but it was the worse double room ever as it was too tiny with only two feet from the bed to the wall ,never book room 260 it's unbelievably small ,it seams like they converted the brooms cupboard . The staff were nice but not professional .breakfast is free but the quality was poor . The pool bar had the worst cold coffee(frappe), it takes like water . I asked for any french champagne the bar staff said they don't offer by the glass and they done have a small bottle ,the next day I asked again and surprisingly they had a 200 ml bottle of Moet but on opening the bottle smelt rotten. Not sunbeds by the pool . The toilets by the pool were ridiculously high even for adults . The kids play area is not shaded and much to do for 4 years old boys . I would never come back here again

Review 36：Unacceptable unrefurbished rooms, we had to move a refurbished one. Mattresses of the refurnished room of very low quality of very old. Disappointing restaurant food and breakfast. Staff polite but seemed not professional.
