Review 1：From the outside, the hotel looks very tired, but we chose it for the location.
Review 2：The hotel is directly across from the train, and just near the excellent 3* Michelin restaurant Troisgros. We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms, and though a little Spartan, it was quite comfortable. The value for money is excellent, but note there are some yet renovated rooms!
Review 3：Good location, opposite the station. Helpful staff who let us sit in the lobby and use the wifi and leave our car in their car park, long after we had checked out.

Review 18：We loved that downstairs was truly beautiful vintage style, but the room was wonderfully modern and absolutely immaculate. The staff were friendly, helpful, polite, and very accommodating, and the onsite parking in the city was a real blessing. We loved the hotel!

Review 20：It is located in very central location. The staff is friebdlh and helpful. Although they don't have kettle in the room, they bring boiled water anytime I asked. The hotel is very close to the best restaurants of Roanne, such as L'astree, Le central, and the famous Masoin Troisgros.

Review 24：In our room the light in the entrance way had no switch and came on andoff automatically by movement. This was extremely irritating and meantwe kept the door from the room to the entrance way shut all the time tostop this perpetual on off lighting. Also the toilet was in a separate"room" which was so small it was hard to stand up in there with the doorclosed. What was otherwise a good sized room was made very uncomfortableby the idiot who designed its layout and lighting system

Review 26：Even though the location was ideal for being car-free while in Roanne,the surrounding area lacked a few shopping conveniences. I was hopingfor a small market where I could purchase a few personal items, snacks,bottled water, etc.. Rather minor though considering downtown is a nicewalk through the town.

The rooms were small but tidy and the internet connectionwas fairly fast. Breakfast in the morning was sensible for the price andthe coffee was hot. I would stay here again.
