Reviews for Sunrise Beach

Review 1:The amazing setting of this hotel is at the end of a very narrow, twisting road, so if driving there, use caution! Buy "swimming shoes" for the pebbly beaches. The rooms are a bit small for 3 adults to share.

Review 2:The hospitality of the staff -Luci and her assistant, Sylvia, were so helpful- from car rental to sites to visit on Samos. The breakfast was delicious, with local honey, cheeses, olives, and fresh squeezed orange juice. And the small beach below is a lovely place to swim

Review 3:Hotel not ideal for wheelchair user, since no lift, but very helpul staff and wonderful setting made up for this!

Review 4:Easy going, friendly and polite staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Superb location. Excellent taverna 2 minutes from the hotel. Kokkari town (beautiful setting with good tavernas and shops) only 5 minutes away (via steep steps or very narrow road).

Review 5:Leaving.

Review 6:Beautiful location. Sheltered beach, no shops on it. Short walk to restaurants and shops at adjoining beach. Breakfast of local produce and riveting espresso eaten overlooking the bay. Balcony for each room. Go to sleep and wake up to sound of the sea.

Review 7:Top location walking distance to beautiful, quiet seaside town of kokarri and 20sec stroll to lovely secluded swimming beach. Don't stay here if you're looking for a party town but a top spot for a relaxing time away. Kokarri is a lovely town, big enough to have many good eating options, supermarkets, ATMs etc but small enough to maintain its charm.

Review 8:Loved everything, but be prepared for a bit of a narrow road to the hotel. Well worth it, though. Loved our stay there.

Review 9:Everything was fabulous there. The owners were wonderful, the breakfast delicious, rooms very clean. Balconies overlooking a gorgeous view. One of the few hotels in Greece with nice mattresses, beautiful beach in front, walking distance to town. Would go back in a minute.

Review 10:Take a taxi from the airport to Kokkari for 33 Euro. Then walk 5 minutes to a car rental place if needed. If we were to try and find it by ourselves, then we would have been lost as the streets of Samos are VERY small for what we are used to. It might seem "out of the way" for some, but honestly.. that's what makes a vacation perfect since it wasn't crowded. The shower is a little small, but we just laughed about it and still did what we needed to.

Review 11:The hotel is right on the water in a picturesque cove. The town of Kokkari is a wonderful place to stay and if's not "touristy". Very relaxing. The breakfast was the best out of the 7 places we stayed while city hoping in Greece & Italy. Lukia did a great job!! The fresh watermelon and other fruits/veggies were greatly missed when we left. I loved waking up every morning and going out on the balcony to see the Med. Sea right there. The hospitality of Sunrise Beach was first rate!! :)

Review 12:In Turkey we had these kind of plant 25 years ago and they say the Hotel was renovated 1 year ago. It is too expensive for a room like this . So narrow room and you can wash your hands, take a shower and use the toilet at the same time

Review 13:The view is perfect The Owner babi is a nice guy

Review 14:Location! Relaxed Vibe! Difficult for taxis to find..but once there..Fabulous location..just a path to gorgeous beach! Great Taverna right next door w/ delicious food and great staff!!

Review 15:I don't like the bathroom. It was very small, old and uncomfartable.

Review 16:I like the wiev of hotel and the woman who ıs workıng at the receptıon.

Review 17:Sweetest woman working there, Sylvia. Breakfast was the best thing we have had! Location is sublime. Loved it!

Review 18:Too far off beaten path for older folks. Hard to drive up to hotel.

Review 19:Very nice place. Staff (Sylvia) was absolutely wonderful. View was amazing.

Review 20:The most beautiful location on Samos and the staff were great

Review 21:Not cheap and no shampoo provided, I had expected at this price it would have been. Pillows like rocks.

Review 22:The view

Review 23:road was bed, reach to the hotel

Review 24:very good wiev and sea

Review 25:The narrow road to the hotel, as I scratched car against telegraph pole when took a wrong turning.

Review 26:Everything

Review 27:Driving to this spot is an exciting challenge that will leave you with a great sense of accomplishment with each pass. Make sure to rent a small compact car or motor bike...the challenge is worth it!

Review 28:An evergreen backdrop to the clear Aegean water is a beautiful and serene setting for this quiet beach and lovely hotel. Rooms are comfortable, clean and service is great. The little taverna next door has the best Moussaka on Samos.

Review 29:Once familiar with the hotel's location, it was readily accessible by foot from the town. However, initial access from the bus stop on the Main Street - we were using public transport on our trip - was a little unclear; 50 meres from he bus stop, there was a good sign giving directions from the Main Street, but an additional one or two simple arrow signs on the twists and turns on the roads to the hotel would have been of assistance, whether walking or driving there.

Review 30:The location was sensational, with great views over Kokkari own and to the local beach that was only metres away. The hotel provided a quiet relaxing location, being a seven minute walk to the town, its shops and restaurants and the public bus stop. The host was terrific, friendly and helpful; we appreciated the personal touch provided. A lovely breakfast was prepared by the host's mother. The room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided.

Review 31:Access by car is a little tricky but can be mastered soon.

Review 32:Very friendly atmosphere and impeccable service by the hotel owners. Very good condition of facilities, outstanding location, overlooking a wonderful beach. Located within walking distance from the village, the port and the market. Wonderful view over the Aegean sea!

Review 33:The location for the hotel is fantastic! The beach is secluded from the main tourist traffic so it basically feels like a private beach right in front of the hotel. The owner, Bobby, is extremely accommodating and easy going. The little taverna next to the hotel is fantastic. If you are looking for a place to really chill, this is it!

Review 34:Great service, really nice people, rooms are clean and beautiful
