Reviews for Middleton House Bed and Breakfast

Review 1:If I had one negative comment it would be noise from big lorries on main road outside the house

Review 2:Everything about the room itself was excellent; decor, mixture of styles, really comfy beds, big telly, extra touches in room like the shortbread and underfloor heating in en-suite. Cate was a lovely, attentive lady.

Review 20:Great b&b. We stayed for one night during T in the Park weekend. Kate couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The house is beautiful and our room was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean.

Review 21:There isn't anywhere to eat in the same village at the moment, but the nearest places are only a couple of miles away so it isn't a big issue.

Review 22:Very clean and well appointed. Very friendly, lovely breakfast. All in all excellent place for a stop over.

Review 23:Take a picnic if you want to eat, there is no where serving food within reasonable walking distance

Review 24:Spacious and spotless, quality feel to the rooms finish and linen / towels etc very nice quiet place, had to leave early so can comment on the cooked breakfast

Review 25:The accommodation was excellent as indeed was the breakfast. Kate went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect for us. Nothing was too much trouble.

Review 26:Beautiful B&B with helpful, friendly owners. When we arrived, the owner offered to build us a fire in the sitting room and brought us a pot of coffee. Home-baked cookies in the rooms and home-baked goodies and cooked-to-order breakfasts made this extra special. Plus the rooms are beautifuly decorated. Big comfy beds, too!

Review 27:Nothing.....I can't find fault with this B&B.

Review 28:Loved everything. The house is amazing, the room is huge and the bed is so massive and comfortable. The little touches were so nice and the hostess is the perfect mix of friendly and professional.

Review 29:The town itself seems to be dead. We wouldn't have booked here had we realised it was not actually part of Auchterader other than postally.

Review 30:Great welcome, the house was well presented, comfortable, warm in the essential areas, and we had good recommendations of where to go for an evening meal. Particularly enjoyed the home-made bread at breakfast

Review 31:Kate and her mother made us feel very welcome in their home. Our bedroom/en suite lacked for nothing. Being able to relax in a warm and comforable guest lounge in the evening was a real bonus. The delicious breakfast set us up for the day. We will return, and soon!

Review 32:Cant think of anything we didn't like.

Review 33:Friendly owner. Could not have done more for us as we were researching our family tree. Got us a meeting with local historian who was very helpful. Everything about the place was just perfect. It was clean, comfortable and breakfast was great.

Review 45:The room had a very spacious area with a high ceiling. A family room with one double and one single. The beds were very comfortable! The staff were very nice as well and we had a lovely night at the house. Highly recommended!

Review 46:It's location in the village of Blzckford is unfortunate in that the village is devoid of any form of dining establishment.

Review 47:The Middleton House experience in itself was excellent and the establishment was central to the surrounding sights.

Review 48:Location of the B&B is good for exploring the surrounding area. The village it's situated in, Blackford, doesn't offer much in the form of restaurants, so you always need to drive somewhere at night.

Review 49:Great new B&B in a great area. On the doorstep of Loch Lomond national park (about 45-60 mins drive) as well as a few great sights and Stirling castle. Gleneagles golf course also nearby. Our family room was great, modern and very confortable and clean. We spent 2 nights at Middleton and really enjoyed it. The warm breakfast (Scottish!)was very good too, though not much choice in the buffet if you are interested in a more continental breakfast.
