Review 16:Everything.
Review 17:Nothing.
Review 18:Breakfast was excellent. Decor in the room very pleasant. Room was warm and comfortable, light and well appointed.
Review 19:The hostess was more concerned about her leisure activities than her guests. Dogs mess at front door not cleared for last two days of our stay. The fresh milk for the coffee in our room was "off", and the milk for our breakfast the following morning was also "off". Owner talking to us at the breakfast table, ended the conversation when a tradesman arrived, then she came back to take our order for breakfast! The tradesman takes priority over the guest! Our visit was early in the season and the owner was not giving 100% to the running of her business.
Review 20:Good location in Grantown on Spey.
Review 21:there should be somewhere on the booking that says the B&B own a dog and a cat, sorry but not one for pets wondering round the house where food is being prepared, the down stairs dining room most uncomfortable do not like the idea of sharing breakfast table with other guest, that was a real Scottish breakfast by 11 am looking for the nearest tea room to get something to eat. the stay was OK for one night but would not use it again.
Review 22:the room we stayed in was small ish but very clean and modern bathroom, the hostess was very friendly and chatty
Review 23:I am not sure what constitutes four stars but this surely can not be it.The beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows should have been tossed years ago.The room in no way resembled the pictures we saw online. The bathroom was tiny and smelled of gasoline. You could here everything in the other rooms.Be wary if you are allergic to cats.
Review 24:The owner was sweet and very helpful with directing us around the area. The breakfast was great.Good place for people not wanting U.S. four star rating.
Review 25:A very relaxed atmosphere Jayne was a brilliant landlady and looked after me the room was luxurious and spotlessly clean. I would revisit in a heartbeat. Breakfast had lots of healthy options. I would thoroughly recommend. I also liked the european effect at the large breakfast table.
Review 26:A bit expensive compared to other places we stayed on our trip. Wifi didnt work for us (iPod and IPhone), so we had to eat across the street to get wifi. More of a business than a welcoming B&B (compared to other places we stayed).
Review 27:Good breakfast. comfortable room with good shower. Handy location, two minutes walk to main street.
Review 28:The town itself did not have a whole lot going on, but is in a good location for traveling to other areas, which is why we chose it.
Review 29:The owner was friendly and very helpful when I arrived with a back issue...nice room and really good breakfast. Good base for traveling to other areas like the Whiskey Trail or the National Parks in area.
Review 30:Very friendly family-owned B&B. Excellent breakfast and a beautiful room. You feel at home. Good starting point to explore the beautiful surroundings.
Review 31:The town of Grantown-on-Spey is not up to the same par as Dunallan, wished it had more shops to pop into, and it needs better restaurant options. Although the pies at Craig's pub across the street were fabulous.
Review 32:The proprietor, Jayne, was most gracious and friendly, as well as her family and staff. Her breakfasts were a wonderful departure from the usual scottish breakfasts, she had high end granolas, fruit, yogurt, as well as waffles, and delicious smoked salmon eggs. She was helpful in daily destination decisions, and the top floor room and bath were lovely and fun. If ever this way again, I would not hesitate to stay here. Actually this adorable place may be a reason to come this way again! In addition, the options for daily adventures in this area are endless. It is a great central location for exploring the beautiful highlands.
Review 33:Smallish room that didn't have that new "polish". Nothing extremely negative, but the guest house was not as tidy as others I have stayed in. It was fine...no complaints.
Review 34:Friendly staff and good breakfast. Grantown on spey is a nice place to stay in the area.
Review 35:Homely and warm reception form owners. Lovely rooms - traditional yetvery modern finish. Lovely breakfast with excellent choices from fruitand yoghurts, salmon, porridge, kippers to the traditional Scottishbreakfast.
Review 36:Very genuine welcoming hosts.Spacious clean rooms that have character.Central location great as a base for exploring Speyside either on the whisky trail or salmon fishing. Near Aviemore andCairngorm National Park for exploring the countryside at other times of the year or for skiing in winter. Grantown is great for the Motormania Vintage car rally in September and the Harley Davidson "Thunder in the Glens" rally in August. There is always something to do here.
