Reviews for Premier Inn London Enfield

Review 1:Like all Premier Inns I have ever stayed in, the air quality seems poor and it's impossible to open windows to get fresh air.

Review 2:Spacious room, large comfortable bed, quiet location.

Review 3:Not near station but knew this when booking.View of a full skip not pretty. Didn't like having to walk past smoking shelter to the restaurant.

Review 4:Restaurant good quality and price. Staff helpful & friendly.Room clean and beds comfortable.

Review 5:Very noisy family in room above. Had to complain to reception at 2am and again at 2.30am. Noise went on till 3.30am. The next day we had to change room to get a decent night's sleep. This was inconvenient for us and it seemed that nothing was done about the noise makers.

Review 6:Good breakfast in nice surroundings. Refund for 1 night under good nights sleep guarantee.

Review 7:seems to be fairly new set up and the facilities all in excellent condition. Kids felt very welcome and 'free' breakfast for kids deal really good.

Review 8:I know it's a little difficult to manage, but I wanted just a bagel and coffee for my continental breakfast - no cereal, yogurt, additional croissants or crumpets, etc. £6.99 seems a little steep for this.

Review 9:As usual - very comfortable bed. Also staff quickly set about changing my room when I pointed out that my original ground floor room was right by where smokers went outside to smoke. It would be good if an outside space away from any of the rooms could be given over to smokers.

Review 10:the mattress you could feel the springs bed too low even though you stated that the bathroom was disable friendly I had difficulty getting into and getting out of the bath if the baths where easy accessible it would help. The air conditioning was not working had to go to reception they turned it on at reception the controls not working in the room

Review 11:staff very pleasant nothing was too much trouble

Review 12:Blocked toilet bubbling away all night kept me awake. Housekeeping didn't bother to clean the room. Staff defensive and argumentative when I approached them about the lack of cleaning, and then said the housekeeping staff "Don't even speak English". Just awful. 2 bad nights sleep, 1 night refunded. Racist attitudes of staff. I attempted to call the manager on the number given to me: no answer. For a Premier Inn this place was a disgrace.

Review 13:The exit.

Review 14:Their checkout time of 12noon is different from the 2.00pm information on the booking.com website. This was an issue for me.

Review 15:The restaurant service and the free breakfast for accompanying children is fantastic.

Review 16:The smell in the corridors of cannabis was very strong even my 6year old asked what the smell was very disappointed. I booked online assuming breakfast was included but I had to pay an extra £35 for breakfast this should be clear on booking online

Review 17:Hotel was nice and staff were really friendly

Review 18:restaraunt was very expensive compared to our USA prices , also could have had some more choices on menu .and more vegetarian choices.

Review 19:would have been nice to have a phone in the room.

Review 20:No small fridge in the room to keep my tablets and also no room telephone but apart from that every other things were good .

Review 21:I just like the overall cleanliness and the peaceful atmosphere and some amswers to my questions on the telephone.

Review 22:Unfortunately there weren't any stores within walking distance. This was inconvenient for last minute purchases.

Review 23:Very clean hotel with friendly staff.

Review 24:Lady on check on Thursday after was lovely. We were in Enfield seeing family and found location handy and parking easy. Heating in room easy to control, quiet room only thing I would say as with all premier inns 2 towels per person would be handy even a smaller one for your hair.

Review 25:Only 1 towel in room despite the booking being for two . No conditioner in bathroom. Bed v squeaky.

Review 26:The easy location to find from M25 and easy check in system

Review 27:Few criticisms save for the size of the room was too small for a family of four; and the hotel should have publicised that the train station, Enfield Lock, located 5min walk away was closed for weekend. The quick time into the centre of London from this station also had influence our choice to stay here.

Review 28:The bedroom was nicely appointed on the ground floor, secure, but with easy access to Reception and car park . Hardly heard any noise sleeping in comfy beds, in a relatively large hotel. The room although better suited to a family of 2 plus 1 was very clean and modern . There was even detail bio friendly bath toiletries. Staff in both the hotel and the separate restaurant were very helpful and accommodating .

Review 29:Dining area inn on the park restaurant and staff very welcoming and polite.

Review 30:Overall good but room could have been tad bigger 2 adults 2 children the quard room not as spacious as I thought it would be.

Review 31:Terrible phone and Internet reception despite free wifi.. No phone contact with reception. Never again

Review 32:Wasn't great compared to other premier inns I've stayed at

Review 33:none at all

Review 34:the staf were very friendly, and the fact that a very good restuarant by the hotel for meals was a plus point, I was quite content and in future will use this hotel again.

Review 35:Only option for breakfast was all-you-can-eat, which sounds like good value, but actually it is rare that I want to eat a lot at breakfast. Would be nice to be able to choose items instead.

Review 36:Came down to stay the night before the London to Milton Keynes bike ride, which started at the Lea Valley Athletics Centre. Was easy to find, comfortable, and with pretty welcoming staff. Don't expect too much from a Premier Inn, but nothing to fault here for our purposes.

Review 37:Situated on a massive industrial estate. Fine if you don't look out of the window. THe restaurant served probably the worst ceasar salad I've ever had. Had to ask for dressing and the whole thing was gritty.

Review 38:Quiet, spacious room. Really comfy bed and convenient location for my meeting. Staff were friendly despite the weird touch screen check in. Breakfast ok.

Review 39:The toasters were a bit temperamental which could cause problems at busy times.

Review 40:We both found the room and facilities very clean and comfortable. The restaurant staff were also very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast table had a very good choice of food.

Review 41:We arrived late and kris was extremely helpful in getting us sorted out. He explained everything so well. The breakfast staff were great also very helpful. The breakfast choice was good. Rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff were polite and efficient (Laura).

Review 42:We did feel that the reception area could have been larger with more comfortable chairs. We came back in the evening and found there was no room in the pub/restaurant for us to sit and chat so we went to bed.

Review 43:The cleanliness and spacious room

Review 44:the breakfast, too many people and no possibility to have other drink except black coffee or tea ie: hot chocolate is not included

Review 45:the hotel, it was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly but you need a car there

Review 46:Maby prices could be a bit more competitive

Review 47:My Wife has mobility issues nothing was to much trouble for staff no matter what we needed they where so helpful

Review 48:The rate through booking.com had not been passed to the Hotel whichcaused a problem booking in.

Review 49:Quite, easy to find, excellent & friendly staff, breakfastdelicious, staff in restaurant brilliant. Clean & comfortable.

Review 50:walking from the train with bags....longer than anticipated and not easy to find.Enjoyed the hotel and it was near the rental car place and close to M25 for ease of leaving London.

Review 51:staff cheerfulness

Review 52:My room was not cleaned regularly, bed wasn't changed for the entire one week stay, dirty plates also left in room. House keeping was of a very poor standard. No phones in bedroom. No room service, had to pay immediately for dinner instead of charging it to the room...made one feel like a walk in guest and not a resident of the hotel.

Review 53:Friendly staff

Review 54:auto check-in..."job losses by stealth"...I will refuse to use on every occasion...I want to be greeted by staff and have a conversation with a human-being!...shame on Premier Inn!!!

Review 55:Delightful, helpful & friendly staff

Review 56:The internet facility sold to us was not working while we eventually used the free WI-FI available, was just wandering why they collected £10 for the services already available at zero cost , phone reception was horrible

Review 57:The ambience is basic and nice

Review 58:Nothing everything at a good standard

Review 59:Staff are professional and you can have a laugh with them. Rooms was spacious clean and comfort. Room layout are good. Ever cleaners are friendly

Review 60:The room was spacious, brilliant and good value for money. Excellent. No complaint

Review 61:The room was very spacious and clean. There's thought for seating. Most things in the hotel as I was there for a short period.

Review 62:It's a bit isolated (the walk to Waltham Cross is OK in summer but it ain't pretty).

Review 63:Premier Inn standard. (I'd like the location if I was in a car.)

Review 64:The Staff were very polite and friendly and nice to our two year old daughter. The bed was very comfy, so comfy we might have to buy a premier inn bed! Breakfast was nice and plenty to choose from. We would stay here again.

Review 65:The receptionist was extremely unhelpful and unfriendly and the systemscrashed as we were booking in which took 1/2 an hour before we couldget our key. Overall not a very pleasant experience. I would think againbefore using this hotel or any of your locations . I will not berecommending your chain of hotels to friends or family

Review 66:It is suppose to be a smoke free hotel, but you can smell smoke in the halls where the employees work areas are located because They smoke in those rooms. The wifi is slow and in order to get faster wifi you must pay for it.

Review 67:Train station is a 10 minute walk.

Review 68:We'd a room near the air conditioning radiator which was very noisy during the night. It was next to our room outside the building. It's not nice when you've that experience with children.

Review 69:I like the flexibility of the accommodation.

Review 70:Floor needed a good vacuum under the bed. Other than that no issues

Review 71:Rooms have been upgraded. Air con was an unexpected bonus as not listed in the booking. Train station was only a 10-15 min walk away which then got you into London in 30 minutes. Also very handy for accessing the M25 and surrounding area.

Review 72:Staff helpful and friendly. Room spotless. Immediate change to a 2p room when we were mistakenly given a 4p room. Railway station was not very far, good starting point for visiting London.

Review 73:When we arrive we were greeted by a lovely member of staff who talked us through the new check in system. We stayed in room 21 ground floor. The room was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The air conditioning was really easy to use. The staff were very obliging. We needed tickets printed and we kindly asked the receptionist and there was no problems getting the tickets we needed printed. The breakfast was brilliant the staff again went out of their way to get you anything you needed. The range of breakfast was brilliant. The restaurant is great value for money and the food was great. We would definitely stay again. The hotel is only about a 10 min walk to Enfield lock station.

Review 74:The WiFi was very slow and we didn't want to pay for the upgrade, phone signal was non existent over 2 different providers, a nightmare for business customers I bet!!

Review 75:The friendliness of all staff, including housekeeping, the fact we felt as if they really cared abt us and we were not just a number on a conveyer belt! The air cooling was a treat as it was so muggy outside. (I work for a rival hotel chain but could be persuaded to go for a job within this hotel chain)!!!!

Review 76:It is in the middle of an industrial park. Breakfast was good, but rather high priced, especially if you didn't have a huge appetite.

Review 77:Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Review 78:Two night stay; most of the towels went missing after the first night, and coffee wasn't topped up after first night

Review 79:The bed was comfy but a bit noisy

Review 80:Not a bad experience, but we had a family room, but only 2 bath towels were left and 2 mugs, so the chambermaids need to check the numbers for the room even though the extra bed was made up. Although the staff were very helpful, our first trip to London we decided to go via Cockfosters tube. The receptionist said it was about 15-20 minutes away, in fact it was over 35 minutes and a 45 minute ride. The taxi fare was £16 each way. The taxi driver suggested we went via Enfield Lock, either a 20 minute walk or a £5 fare and straight to Liverpool St with a 25 minute ride, needless to say this was our mode of travel for the next 2 days. It would have been great if the receptionist had advised us a little better.

Review 81:All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room clean

Review 82:The crawling black flies in the bathroom and on the Carpet. Flies were attracted to light. Something bit my right middle toe when I was bare feet. I didn't see what it was but i was okay after I washed my feet.

Review 83:Everything else! Excellent staff-- Sarah and Bradley especially made a lot of difference. My children never had difficulty reaching me.

Review 84:No adverse comments

Review 85:We were travelling with my grand children one of whom is a celeriac and needs a gluten free diet. The resteraunt staff were were most obliging and advised on any menu item and alternatives that he could eat. At breakfast he was provided with gluten free toast. I would like to pass on my thanks to Emma the assistant manager who was most obliging with special thank you from Max my 6 year old grandson

Review 86:There we're hairs in my bed that did not belong to me org partner, hairs in my bath before I had used it, grains of some sort of substance on the carpet. Couldn't locate thermostat for heating should have been explained and wasn't and also although we we're provided with free wifi, my phone had no service from the beggining to the end of my stay couldn't access anything.

Review 87:I liked how welcoming staff we're

Review 88:It was raining when we arrived and it took a few minutes to find the door to get in, while getting soaked. Staff told us that the restaurant was open until 10pm but didn't tell us that it was in a separate building - we spent ages looking for it and we had to go back to ask - better signposting is needed.

Review 89:Friendly staff, very nice rooms, free wifi and great breakfast.

Review 90:I had to go to reception as soon as we got to our room because there were not enough towels. There was only 1 hand and 1 bath towel. Although we were left 2 bath towels on the other days we were there we were only left 1 hand towel.

Review 91:The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable

Review 92:Booking.com booked us a single use room and it was on the paper as a room for a quadroom for 2adults and 2 children.

Review 93:Premier inn were quick to rectify this problem Beds were reallyc comfy great breakfast

Review 94:The only problem was that I stayed on a warm weekend and the air con didn't work. But the staff offered us a stand alone fan.

Review 95:Very quiet, plus comfortable and exceptionally clean rooms.

Review 96:I was put into an adapted room for a wheel chair user. However I am not in a wheelchair. I am 6ft tall and this made using the bath and sink and other facilities difficult

Review 97:The staff were lovely

Review 98:We were in room 42, with air conditioning units outside, which were like sleeping next door to a jet engine with the plane continuously climbing and falling. I took two attempts over two days to get moved despite one helpful member of staff doing her best to help us.

Review 99:The second room we were moved to was very nice, however even then there was only one bath towel. The onsite restaurant was quite good and the staff were very attentive.

Review 100:No fridge or safe in rooms as standard.... Room service still knocks on door despite we having a 'do not disturb' sign.... Car park always full

Review 101:The rooms are refurb'ed to a high standard... Bed exceptionally comfortable, large TV. Some staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Review 102:Room was great. Nice bed, clean, great facilities, great bathroom. I have been all over the uk in all kinds of hotels and it was way up there on room quality. I also had my work van full of tools and the barriers / cctv was good.

Review 103:No bath mat to step out onto. We used our towels.

Review 104:The welcome. The friendly person who checked we were okay and the ease of registering our arrival on the computer.

Review 105:10 minute walk from the train station (Enfield lock) okay when you know where you are going but we hadn't checked it out in advance and felt a little vulnerable in the area. Coming from London cross the tracks and if not before take a left when you reach a major road and it's just down there on the left.

Review 106:Quality of food although had to wait for most breakfast items to be restocked. Size and cleanliness of room. We were going to a party in the local area and took taxis there so not reLly sure if other guests used it as an alternative to staying in central London but it didn't take long on the train.

Review 107:There wasn't any wifi through most of my stay and very poor phone reception. Really ruined my stay.

Review 108:Staff:excellent, especially a lady named Raulka if i remember her name correctly. Bed:really comfy

Review 109:Booking in staff untrained, not their fault.

Review 110:Had a problem booking in although done by management, but it was dealt with swiftly and politely by a trainee!! Asked for a quite room and it was provided.

Review 111:Got woken up at 12:30am by somebody knocking on my door. Also had £1155 erroneously deducted from my bank account by Premier Inn

Review 112:Close to where I was going

Review 113:We on the ground floor people where walking passed our window constantly as we were near reception also very thin wall house keeping was Hoover at 8am woke us up.

Review 114:Bathroom was a good size plenty of clean towels with bath and shower.

Review 115:2nd night out of three very hot in room.although there was a air conditioning unit fitted it did not work.TV went wrong on second night and did not work at all. after speaking to the reception the next morning they refunded the cost of the room for one night and moved my wife and I to another room with air con.very pleased with the treatment we recieved . could not be better.thanks . Breakfast was very good.

Review 116:Parking was difficult to find on many occasions. I feel bigger vans should have a different place to park.

Review 117:The friendly staff, they seemed genuinely friendly and efficient.

Review 118:No air con, even though I was informed in prior.

Review 119:Value for money, nice staff, nice room, even prepare baby cot for my little baby, very considerable, free parking, free internet

Review 120:Two hot nights spent in this hotel with broken air con which the staff decided not to mention when we were booking in and left us to find out later in the evening ourselves. They then said they might have some fans left for us to use but of course by the evening all the fans were gone....so three little kids struggled to sleep. There was a wedding party staying at the hotel who made loud noises at 4am each night and the staff did nothing about it. It was left to me so bang on the doors and get them to be quiet.

Review 121:Location

Review 122:I liked the fact that the room was clean and comfortable. The size of the television was big. Also there was a wide choice at breakfast that catered for vegetarians. The porridge was tasty as I do not like mine with milk

Review 123:The air con didn't work (being updated) so had to leave my window open - it was a hot day/night. The result was a disturbed night's sleep from drunken party goers. Shall ask for a quiet room next time I stay at a Premier Inn. The staff next day were v. understanding and I did get a refund. Thank you.

Review 124:The comfortable bed and the quiet location but still handy for a train link into central London.

Review 125:A friendly welcome by helpful staff. A good free car park and a good restraint facility on site. This is a good location for anyone wishing to be near the northern part of the M25 or doing business in the Enfield area.

Review 126:Would have liked to have carpet vacuumed daily and bathroom floor moped.

Review 127:The room was very comfortable, breakfast was lovely and the staff very friendly. Checking in and out very quick and easy.

Review 128:On checking in we were told that our booking had come through from booking.com as a single room and on the middle floor and not a three person family room we needed on the top floor as requested when the booking was made. Not the best start to our weekend! Our stay was for 2 nights and on night 1 we were kept awake by what seemed like a family of elephants in the room above jumping off their beds!! On night 2 we were once again kept awake by what sounded like a riot in the car park outside the hotel to which the police were called. Eventually the noise subsided and we managed to get some sleep. Not exactly our best weekend away!

Review 129:The staff were very helpful, the room was very clean & tidy. The bed was fantastic and the breakfast was great.

Review 130:Room was clean and comfortable.Air conditioning worked which was great as it was warm.Requested a quiet room which we had. Food in the restaurant was delicious-we ate supper and breakfast there.

Review 131:Friendly welcome, good information and help. Booked table for us in the restaurant right away. Service in restaurant was good and the food and beverages excellent value. Bed and pillows very comfortable and everything worked in the room!

Review 132:Linen not issued correctly, so far every Premier Inn we've stopped in has had something wrong with it. Will be trying other companies in the future to compare notes.

Review 133:Typical Premier Inn - furnished well and comfy.

Review 134:WiFi signal was very weak. Had to go outside to make a call and my phone signal was poor also. I can tether of my phone for WiFi but that signal was poor also.

Review 135:The rooms was clean and comfortable.

Review 136:I made a request for a baby cot for the room about three weeks before and booking.com informed me they had passed the information to the hotel. However when a checked few days before checking in, I was told they could not help and I had to go back through booking.com. So my one year old had three difficult nights sleeping on a single bed. Although breakfast was good, it was very expensive.

Review 137:Breakfast was good and the rooms were excellent. The location of the hotel was perfect for me. There is also enough parking space. We had no issues with noise.
