Marizan Caves & Villas sells fast on our site. Marizan Caves & Villas are in the highest spot of Oia, right at the edge of the famous Caldera (cliff), overlooking the sunset and the Aegean Sea from over 650 feet in altitude. Guests can relax on a sun lounge chair and enjoy the 4-person hot tub available.
All Caves are on different levels, with balconies. Every Cave is a unique unit built in the rock, in line with the historic and traditional style of housing in Santorini. All Caves have a magnificent view of the volcano & the Caldera and come with TV, air conditioning, refrigerator & basic kitchen equipment.
Facilities include breakfast and daily maid service. You can spend your day on the porch and enjoy the view and peacefulness of the scenery. The center of Oia with its elegant wine bars, restaurants and shops is just a 5 minute walk away.

Review 7：Watching sunset from hot tub.Excellent location with terrific views over the Caldera.Room had private seated area balcony area. Staff with Georgia and Marios who gave us warm welcome and helpful information not forgetting the glass of local wine on first evening. Accommodation was excellent,well maintained with full kitchen facilities and cleaned daily by a friendly staff.

Review 8：Car park is not very convenient as it may get very crowded during busy hours eg. Sunset times. The reception lady was not very helpful. The views inside the villa was great, but the reception lady didn't allow us to take photos in other parts of the hotel, the lady told us to stop taking photos even we didn't disturb other residents at all(no other residents was nearby). She said 'No, you can only take photos in your own balcony' without any further explanation. I can fully understand if this is the hotel policy, but it sounds a bit rude to the customer. Maybe we are just young couple? The jacuzzi can only fit in 2 or 3 adults at the same time, and it is shared among all other residents at the hotel.

Review 9：The location is great for sunset views. The jacuzzi was great. The bell boy helped us with the luggage, otherwise it would be pretty difficult for carrying luggage from the car park.

Review 15：During our one week stay, we had fresh bread in the morning, laid on our terrace table each morning. Twice, we had plain, jam and chocolate croissants along with the bread. I wish this had been the case every morning.

Review 16：Marios, the manager, is very helpful, always willing to answer questions if you are curious about the tourist industry in Santorini. What I particular like about Marizan Caves & Villas is that it is at the end of Oia and therefore you have some intimacy that you may not have in some other hôtels in the same price range.

Review 17：Marizan caves has the best location in Oia. Fantastic views all day, but sunset views are amazing. Georgia was the best host we have ever had. She was extremely helpful and gave us excellant recommendations for everything from food to boat tours. I would definitely stay at Marizan again.

Review 18：The kitchen is great , but they only have the ham and cheese that for you to cook with salt and leper. We have to use butter instead of oil to cook the food that we purchased from the supermarket in the town. But we understand that it's reasonable

Review 19：Although the hotel location is a bit far and difficult to find , but it has the best view in the Oia that Keep you away from the crowd street and enjoy the sun set view in a comfortable way. The staff is nice and will carry your luggage for you , that was lovely. We went to Oia in mid April , the weather was a bit unstable, sometimes windy and rainy , so a good location with the best view is important when you don't want to go outside. Considering the view , value of money, maybe this hotel is the best location for someone who is willing to spend some money for a great hotel in Oia

Review 21：What a spectacular view and sunset. Marizan villa is exceptionally clean quaint and has a lovely ambiance. You're at the top of Santorini and so close to everything. Janet and Marios provided outstanding service for whatever we needed and were the most gracious and amazing hosts. They couldn't do enough for us. We arrived after dark and when we opened up our door to our terrace and view the next morning we were awe struck. The best location and view in Oia! Loved our breakfast on the terrace and the pool was fabulous. This was Greece and Santorini in its finest. Thank you Janet and Marios from Melanie, Lesley and Angela. You made our time in Santorini the best. .

Review 22：Shower stall was a bit small, understand that it is difficult to build on the side of the hill but bathroom facilities rate high in travelling.

Its a boutique Cave Hotel in Oia with a wonderful view of Caldera and the Aegean Sea is also an ideal spot to view the famous Oia’s Sunset, privately. Giorgia, the manager is very friendly and helpful. The cave is cosy and clean. Comfortable bed and excellent Wifi. Each morning fresh baked goods were provided to accompany the continuously stocked fridge of free juices, coffee, tea, yogurt, honey, cold cut meats and cheeses. Highly recommend for couples. Review 30：Location was excellent, not too busy and quiet yet very close to the city centre and convenient. we watched the beautiful Oia sunset on our rooftop in jacuzzi!! breakfast was also very good and there is a public pool one step away from our room which was fab, strongly recommend this place to Oia virgins!

They offered us some local wine and some food that was delicious. They arranged for us the taxi to the airport and helped us for everything we needed. It was our best staying in Santorini! Review 36：Wonderful stay! The location is perfect, just at the end of Oia on cliff, on the roof balcony you will have perfect view of sunset even enjoy yourself in Jacuzzi ! The room is big enough with additional bed for my son w/o charge. The breakfast is prepared in the refrigerator with fresh bread every morning. There is a bar with swimming pool nearby, you can enjoy it with order a drink. Mario is kindness and helpful, give lots of advise for the food and sightseeing. Great hotel whcih worth to come back.

Review 37：The place was just beautiful, clean and breathtaking views. The hosts were very accommodating and gave us a lot of great advice on where to shop and eat. It's a lot nicer in person than it is in the photos. The place was very clean and tidy, tastefully decorated and had the best sunset. You can see people looking in with envy as we sit on our private terrace to watch the sunset, while everyone is lining up outside on the footpaths trying to get a good view. I'd definitely want to stay here again.

He went out of his way to help us recover our lost luggage - he had them delivered personally at mid-night. 2. Location - ideal to watch sunset and is easily acessible to all areas around the Oia village. 3. The hotel room which is actually built inside a cave is spacious - with a large bedroom, separate living and dining areas. It's cool inside despite the soaring temperature outside (June 2014). It has a beautiful 'balcony' overlooking the enchanting caldera with deep blue water- it's a wonderful place to relax over a cup of tea or coffee or wine in the evening. It's indeed a paradise on earth !

We loved the incredible views from our patio that included table/chairs, lounge chairs, as well as a couch/bench perched 1000 ft up from the Aegean Sea. Great part of Oia, it is quiet and you do not have to leave to watch the sunset. Hundreds of people congregate towards this end of Santorini each evening, and reserve spots for hours. You can relax, prepare some food and drinks, and enjoy your evening without worrying about where to watch the sunset. Georgia and the staff were fantastic, willing to help us with anything. I would absolutely stay here again. Great value compared with other hotels in Oia. Room includes small kitchen, and adequate facilities, although the view and location is what you are coming here for and they are difficult to beat. Thank you for the wonderful five days Georgia!

Santorini already a world famous destination is sent off the charts with a stay at MARIZAN. Review 85：Introduction pictures of the place are great. However a lot of places are private and not allow to take picture. Sound insurance is poor specially when room next to you flush the toilet. Breadfast is no choice.

The views were spectacular from Marizan, and the Greek music CD's in the room added to the ambiance of just where we were - beautiful Santorini!

Review 90：First, the location is really really nice at OIA. You will have very nice view of the whole island and the sunset when you relex yourself at the balcony. The room is very spacious and cleaning, also it decoration is creative and give us an unique experience. Though the hotel is sitting beside the cliff. This hotel picked us up (few euros) and lift all of the heavy baggages. The manager is really nice and gave us a lot informations and helps. Before we were leaving, the manage made a phonecall to the next hotel and then arrange us a taxi and pick up from the next hotel. I will highly recommend this hotel.

Review 104：Beautiful spacious room. The view is incredible. Crowds form just outside the hotel at sunset to get a taste of the view you can soak up in peace. The staff really goes above and beyond, providing a substantial breakfast and help with car rentals or anything else you need.

Review 105：It's not ideal for the elderly, disabled or families with babies/prams due to the many steps one has to climb in order to go out and get back the the 'caves'. No problem for us, but just a word of advice.

Review 107：Breakfast offered is probably costing Marizan more than it is chargingfor (about 10 Euros P.P.). However my wife and I would have prefered ifMarizan charged more (around 20-25 Euros P.P.) for providing a richerbreakfast. In such a luxurious / prime property which is for us amust especially when you want to save your energy going up and down thestairs to expolre the beauty of the island starting at later hours.

It is merely The Place To be in Oia.The sceneray of the sea and the sunset one would have from any balconyor terrace is unbeatable even from Oia's castle. The value isexcellent as well. The owners, Yannis, a fine gentelman, and his larger-than-life daughter, Georgia are a valuable addition to our family. Theywere extremely and genuinely helpful and responsive, taking care oftheir guests with utmost attention to micro details. Thank you Georgiaand Yannis and we are sure that we shall see you again.

Review 111：Literally everything. I think this place is my favorite place on earth. The staff there (Yannis and Georgia) are the nicest people ever and truly make your stay incredible. They helped us get our bearings in a new city, recommended things to do, helped make reservations, were always checking to make sure our stay was great, and more. Our accommodations were fantastic- the room was large and comfortable, the front door opened up to a beautiful patio overlooking the sea, there was always fresh bread waiting for us each morning along with more breakfast food, and the location has the best view of the Santorini sunset in the entire island.

Review 112：Marizan has been the most impressive stay in the decade for me and my wife. We stayed with the Honeymoon cave type for 2 nights which is spacious and very clean. There are all necessary kitchen equipment. The hotel locates on the best sunset viewpoint , no need to reserve the seat like the public viewpoint that require to reach there 2-3 hours before sunset. Georgia and Giannis (Owners) took care us very great, we felt warm like staying at home. It takes only 10 minutes to the center of Oia. Between the stay, i had an unfortunate accident which made my arm pain. After well taking care by Giannis who took me to the hospital in Fira by himself, I got well and felt the sincere care like treating from my family. We would like to say a big thank you for making our trip unforgettable. If we have a chance to be in Santorini again, it must be Marizan Cave definitely.

Review 115：This has been one of the most memorable stay my wife and I had. 1) the owners are just amazing. They made us feel at home from the second we checked-in. Marios and Yannis are so friendly and welcoming! Marios recommended us a delicious restaurant (Sunset Taverna in Ammoudi Bay) for dinner when we arrived. He even came back and picked us up back to the hotel in his own car because otherwise we would have waited 30 min for a taxi to come at 11pm. In the morning, they would bring you breakfast and leave it at your door. Yannis, offered us a delicious glass of wine from his own personal collection that his friend produced in Santorini. 2) the location is the best in all of Oia. Because of the location of Oia and the shape of Santorini, This is one of two hotels that have a sunset view. While people were camping all afternoon at the castle to watch the sunset, we had our personal vista from the rooftop of the hotel, sitting in comfy sofa, sipping on Yannis' wine. (Alternatively, if it's hot enough, you could watch the sunset from the jacuzzi at the rooftop).

Review 116：Didn't know of the meat market until the last day, but hardly thefault of the owners or staff. Now we know for next time.

Review 117：We stayed in the three bedroom cave which had an incredible balcony.With our extended family (three generations) we had wonderful meals onthe balcony/patio. The rooms were charming and romantic. It wasperfect in every way. My mom at 83 was unable to easily navigate thestairs but was "glided" up the stairs gently by two wonderfulstaff members. Several of us had massages, mine arranged on the ownersbalcony for the view alone. The massage was affordable, first qualityand wonderful.We are in Santorini almost every year, and as a Starwood fan, stayed in Vedema until this trip. We will always come back to Marizan. There is no other place for us now.
