Reviews for Maistrali
Review 1:Not really a complaint more of an observation.....other guests were quite noisy and inconsiderate (slamming doors/talking loud very early in the morning) but you get this in most resort hotels.
Review 2:Loved the location, close to all that Parga has to offer and no steep hills to get to the hotel. Rooms and public areas are beatiful.I would stay here again. Staff were all very nice and welcoming and the place is kept spotlessly clean.
Review 3:That we had to leave :) Really - there isn't anything I didn't like there. Everything was perfect. I even enjoyed the 10+ hours drive from Plovdiv to Parga.
Review 4:It is a small family hotel and as such you will feel the personal touch and care. Stuff is friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is just perfect - close to the beach, easy access with a car and not on the noisy street next to the beach, which makes the room really quiet and comfortable. It is very close to the street next to the harbour too and you don't have to go up and down all the time like other hotels. It may not be directly on the beach, but we had PERFECT view to the sea and the island from the attic room. Terrace was big and comfortable and was a real pleasure to sit there and drink a coffee. Room was very clean and although a bit small with the additional bed for the kid, it was cosy and was big enough for us. I already mentioned, that the view from the terrace great but I will repeat it: the view was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Just this view was worth driving 10 hours to Parga. I can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone to visit Parga and Hotel Maistrali - it is worth seeing and we really enjoyed our stay there.

Review 6:The location is perfect. Hotel staff very friendly and very polite. The room were very clean and every were smelled good. Breakfast was with many asortents, fruits, ..etc. Finally everything was very good. So we think that for the next year we will be again in this hotel in the summer season.
Review 7:In the cecond day the shower did not function well. We could not change the heat of the water.
Review 8:They had a closed parking but you may need to give the keys. Mr. Kostas took care of our car and greeted us with a smiley face. The hotel is very close to the Parga beach, 1 minute by walking. Breakfast was nice.
Review 9:After a day on the beach it was lovely to sit in the shaded seating area at the front of the hotel watching the world go by. Lovely clean hotel in great location.
Review 10:The cleanliness of the hotel the politeness of the staff and the overall feel of the hotel. Excellent location for going out and a short walk although up a hill towards valtos beach
Review 11:Breakfast was basic although great to eat it on the terrace
Review 12:Great location, interesting building with the terrace and rooms. Good wifi all making it a good choice.
Review 13:Too expensive for what it offered. Room to small. Shower too small. Do not need bath tap or handle in there took up too much room in already small shower. Staff a little standoffish.
Review 14:Great Location
Review 15:Hard beds, but that seems to be the norm in Greece. Average breakfast. More fruit, real orange juice and a nespresso style coffee machine would make a world of difference.
Review 16:Amazing staff, super clean, great location.Top floor has sea view!
Review 17:That we had to leave.
Review 18:Free parking on site, wi-fi, sea view, very helpful stuff, excelent position in Parga, everybody very friendly. Great atmosphere. I recomand this hotel.
Review 19:Wonderful town, great beaches (Lichnos), great hotel location, helpful friendly staff. We were in Parga for the first time for 7 days from June 20th, every night visited various taverns and we were never disappointed. Definitely next summer will be back.
Review 20:Hotel "Maistrali" has everything you need for a perfect vacation in Parga - excellent staff, great location with free parking and free wi-fi, simple but sufficient breakfast, nicely furnished rooms. As a frequent traveller I am eligible to give 10/10 to "Maistrali". Highly recommended!
Review 21:Nothing
Review 22:The location was perfect; the hotel was bright, cheery and very comfortable; breakfast was very nice. We will definitely come again and recommend the Maistraili to all our friends
Review 23:This hotel was a disappointment. Here is the list: hard beds, poorly stocked self-catering, poor insulation meant smoke and noise with closed windows, unfriendly staff, blah breakfast. Not a place for romance.
Review 24:The sitting areas were lovely. Satellite TV was nice until it went out during Euro-vision
Review 25:Leaving the hotel after 4 days to return to Corfu !
Review 26:great welcome from the owner and his wife the evening we arrived. Beautifully decorated and furnished hotel.
Review 27:Nothing to imagine
Review 28:Proximity to beach and all facilities. Helpful tenants. Cleanliness and comfort. Large room and terrasse. Rich buffet breakfast, which we could eat in the nice garden. Free parking in garage space. Efficient free Wi-Fi. Excellent value for money.
Review 29:-noise from the main road - even though the rooms were cleaned every day, it seemed that the quality of cleaning was not good enough -taverna Arcudas recommended in the hotel was quite bad
Review 30:-good location close to the beach and promenade, very easy to find, good parking - nice appartment for a family, baby chair in the room
Review 31:Breakfast looked good but many items had run out when we got there (not late), so not much choice.
Review 32:sea view from attic room (not so good from other rooms). bright modern decor, lovely shower!
Review 33:For the first time I come across a place in Europe where you can divide people incomprehensible criteria. I made my reservation for a room with two beds on 11 June 2014. through the Booking because I was impressed with the written conditions, the pictures posted by the owners and reviews from hotels guests. Upon arrival at the hotel on 17 September 2014. I was unpleasantly surprised that it was'nt left room with two beds and three nights should be spent on not so broad and rather short double bed. The receptionist was explaining that we are for only 3 nights and they have reservations for 2-3 weeks from other people and she can do nothing. The room was small, but we still wanted to add an extra bed, which was even shorter and more uncomfortable. Then we were forgotten as guests of the hotel, until we have paid the bill, which was not even got a discount as they would do in any hotel is to blame for the client was forced to rest under conditions other than those stated by him. In conclusion, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, because the attitude they showed us can be demonstrated to everyone.
Review 34:The owners were very kind an helpful during our stay. The hotel has a great atmosphere and is situated in a cozy small street and close to the beach. It was a pleasure to have breakfast in the nice garden area.
Review 35:Room was a bit small for our family of 4. Bed backs are with sharp edges and we hit it few times. As we stayed quite long we would like more often change of breakfast menu, more fruits and vegetables you would expect in South.
Review 36:Very friendly family of owners runs the hotel, who helped us in everything we asked. Very good location: next to local shop, close to the beach, just next to the centre, but aside where no so much crowds. Every day cleaning with change of towels. Big enough balcony shaded with shed with side view to the sea. Breakfast area is in the nice garden yard, open air. It was very good destination.
Review 37:We stayed in Maistrali Hotel for 4 nighs on our way home, everything was perfect, Kostas - the owner was very kind and make us feel like home. The garden is beautiful and the sea view also. The rooms are very uniqe decorated. We would definately come back if possible. Vrtačnik family.

Review 49:Great room decoration. Great point in the centre of Parga.
Review 50:Very nice hotel with good value for money
Review 51:Excellent book seaview
Review 52:They say they have a parking but you will never ever find a place to park. Especially if you have an expensive car you have to consider that.
Review 53:Breakfast was fine but the addition of a toaster would be great
Review 54:Great: location, hotel, staff
Review 55:Excellent location and value for money
Review 56:Bathroom with problems: the water was coming out into the room, the toilet must be fixed
Review 57:Very good position, garden, balcony, parking.

Review 61:Perfect location, near to the beach and the city center, clean rooms, helpful staff
Review 62:The view The friendly staff Free parking
Review 63:Very good location and the hotel looks great!
Review 64:location, staff, clean
Review 65:Car parking was difficult due to tight underground park
Review 66:Location was very central and very convenient for the day boats.
Review 67:The breakfast area is in a pleasant garden, but unfortunately doesn't have a sea view.
Review 68:Very spacious attic room, two balconies (one each side, for shade/sun), nice view to Parga bay, excellent location close to beach, restaurants etc.
Review 69:The hosts, Kostas and Zoe, so kind and friendly. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. The location was perfect. Very close to the beach.
Review 70:The hotel accept pets, but not very happy with that. Parking space is not enough
Review 71:Large room and comfortable bathroom and bed. Everything is new and clean Close to the beach Walking distance to city center
Review 72:Everything is wonderful. The staff is great, because they make you feel right at home. The rooms are very clean. The food is excellent. And the location is very very close to the sea and the best tavernas. Definetly we will go back there. After our vacation, we recomended the hotel to my parents and they also were very happy with this choice.
Review 73:Hotel needs a total revamp very old and run-down Breakfast was of poor quality Hotel smelt of old smoke and damp Was asked to give them cash, I had to request a receipt of the cash paid Won't stay again
Review 74:Nothing.
Review 75:The location is really excellent, just a few steps off the beach and a few minutes from all the restaurants and bars. The hotel staff is truly helpful and efficient and very warm. The room is really pleasant and relaxing. Ours had a good sized balcony which is very handy in the summer months. It will sure be my first choice next time I'm in Parga.
Review 76:the internt doesn't work well
Review 77:the hotel is very close to the beach, very clean, the breakfast is good, the garden in front of the hotel is very nice(you take the breakfast there)
Review 78:terrible room / back side balcony - double and single bed in the room, not removed old furniture extremely hard mattress
Review 79:closeness to beach close to main stroll area nice breakfast
Review 80:Very small rooms, the rooms are not furnished like on the pictures and NOT with a sea view like on the pictures. Only few rooms have sea view, the others are with a view on a dusty parking and on street.
Review 81:Location, free parking, staff was ok
Review 82:perfect location right in the heart of parga. good and rich breakfast. personnel was always willing to help and provide guidance for all the questions that we have. they act not only as hotel personnel but also as a very helpful tour guide for us not only for sightseeing in Parga but also for nearby destinations (Acheron river, Lafkada)
Review 83:-Putting two one-person beds together does not create a two-person bed, especially when there is a 10 cm gap in between the matrasses (which were, by the way, hard as a rock). -No WiFi and locker in the room.
Review 84:-Location. -Clean.
Review 85:Wi-fi didn't work in the rooms
Review 86:We had a wonderful stay at Maistrali. A perfect hotel placed in the middle of Parga close everything! The room was big and clean and with a nice balcony with a look to the sea. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. We will recommend this hotel.
Review 87:The hotel needs some renewal, like carpets for example..
Review 88:We liked the location and friendly staff, family atmosphere best.. İt is good that they can offer a free car park; the front sitting area where you get your breakfast is very nice..
Review 89:Nothing to dislike
Review 90:My wife and I stayed in the Maistrali in June 2013 with our two young children. We were a bit apprehensive as this was the first time we hadn't booked with a package holiday company. However, we had a fantastic time at this highly recommended hotel. The owners were really friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was really clean with probably the best showers in the whole of Greece! The hotel is perfectly located for town beach, and close enough to the hustle and bustle of the harbour while still remaining peaceful and relaxing. On a separate note, if anyone is considering making their own way to Parga, travelling by ferry from Corfu Town to Igoumenitsa, and then taking a taxi (approx 60 euros) is really easy and will probably save you money.
Review 91:The wireless network connection in the room didn't work well.
Review 92:We stayed in June. The price was very good in that period. The hotel is very clean and close to the beach, no more than 1 minutes walk. The staff is very kind. The location of the hotel is very good. There are many shops, bars and restaurants near the hotel. Close to the hotel you can get boats to visit other beautiful beaches or Paxos and Antipaxos beautiful islands.
Review 93:Absolutely nothing !
Review 94:Parga is an interesting, busy, authentic Greek town with a healthy local economy, based on tourism, fishing, local boating and ferries. With a choice of local and adjacent beaches, all accessible by ferry boat, as well as attractive esplanade lined with restaurants and cocktail bars, the town is ideal for beach activities, excursions and people-watching. Hotel Maestrali is ideally located near the town centre on a quiet road at the rear of the town beach.
Review 95:The hotel is very good!! The room was clean and comfortable, thebreakfast is big and fresh, the staff is friendly. The hotel is close tothe town-centre and to the beach. If you are by car, the hotel has acovered private car parking for free.
Review 96:Location was perfect for the beach and town. Showers were excellant hydro massage type, air conditioning was quite quiet and adjustable. Breakfast was lovely. The people who owned the hotel were very pleasant and helpful I would definately stay at the Maistrali again.
Review 97:The hotel has the best location in Parga! Very close to the beach (about 1 min. walk and most important not an uphill or downhill walk, as most of the hotels and apartments in Parga are located on the hill above the harbor) and the city harbor where all the restaurants and shops are located. The beach is sandy and well arranged, with cafes arround that offer drinks. We booked only breakfast, and although it offered the same type of food every day, it was realy fresh and tasty. The quantity was never a problem. The best thing about breakfast was that it was served on the terrace in front of the hotel, very cosy. The hotel has good wi-fi connection, that we could use even in the room. The rooms are with good size, recently renovated and an excellent value for money. If you care about rom view (for us it didn't matter much, since we didn't spend much time there, you should book in the upper floors for a sea view or hill view)Since it is a family run hotel, Kostas and Zoi were really good hosts and ready to assist us in everything we need. Another important thing about this hotel is that it has its own parking (which in Parga can be a real problem, since the city has narrow streets and a lot of tourists). All in all, since I can not think of any downsides for this hotel:) I would cordially recommended it as the BEST accommodation in town.
Review 98:The rooms facing the road were very noisy from early in the day tilllate at night. Also wifi did not work very well.
Review 99:Central location and close to the town center
Review 100:Great owners staff, and service. The location was good and if im going back to Parga, im going to stay at Maistrali! Not a single thing we didn't like!
Review 101:We spent 3 nights at Maistrali. Everything was perfect, private parking, excellent location, just 20 meters from the city beach, Krioneri. The breakfast was very good, fresh croissants and very fresh and tasty cheese and leek tiropita were offered daily, among other stuff as well, like different cold cuts, cheeses, fresh juices etc. The room was cleaned daily and it was very nicely decorated and comfortable. Nice garden view from our cute balcony and very friendly atmosphere thanks to the hotel manager, Kostas, who is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back again to Maistrali.
Review 102:Great location in centre of Parga. The Hotel had its own parking and with the location meant we didnt have to drive. The hotel also had a very nice front patio where we had breakfast and excellent WiFi
Review 103:The hotel is in an excellent location for the nearby beach and just afew minutes from the main town. Staff was freindly, helpfuI. I wasextremely dissapointed from Parga town however as it appears that thesewage from the city or restaurants on the port are still thrown intothe port/ocean as evidenced by the terrible smell one notices whilesitting down for dinner. It ruined my entire experience. I willdefinetly seek another place for vacation. Sivota, a beach fewkilometers north might be a better place.
Review 104:Safety box in our room was broken.
Review 105:The owners are very helpful and friendly. We had clean and nice room. It was important for me to live close to the beach, especially in july when it was so hot. I should not like to walk to some hotels which were higher up along the road. Although we lived near the beach and to all the restaurants in the centre it was even so a more quiet area. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and I am sure I will book this hotel also another time.
Review 106:I didn't like Parga in July. Too many tourists for such a small town, but the hotel though was fine. Rooms are small. Doors in the shower werefalling apart. The bathroom was way too small. Rooms are noisy becauseof the missing soundproofing in the doors towards the hall/corridor.Sheets on the beds were too small so they came off easily. The skillersbetween the balcony are transparent, so there is not much privacy.
Review 107:Very Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is good. Nice balcony size.
Review 108:1. Lack of shower curtains/doors made the entire bathroom wet after each use which needed our attention for keeping dry. 2. Breakfast materials once depleted were not replenished. The management knowingly underestimated and did not replenish the trepetia spanaki. Out of our 5 days we could only eat this delicious pastry only 2 days. 3. Eggs saganaki, omlettes etc were not offered. Good tea was not available. So, breakfast service needs improvement. 4. Also, more ceiling fans or faster oscillating fans would be nice in the outside seating area to cool off during breakfast.
Review 109:1. Very friendly staff, especially Mr. Kostas , the manager. 2. Although partially blocked, the view of the Parga bay and its two little islands. 3. Easy access to the city beach, boat tour departure points, restaurants and the numerous little coves you can go by car. 4. Availability of parking. 5. Reasonable price.
Review 110:We enjoyed every minute in hotel Maistrali. Excellent location for beach activities as well for entertainment. When going back to Parga, for sure we will stay there, price/quality cannot be better.
Review 111:Egg & bacon
Review 112:A very pleasant atmosphere with personal and honest meant service-attitude by the staff. The location close to the city and the beach isperfect. Wholemeal bread is very much welcomed
Review 113:Although the location was very close to the centre (port), the area was nonetheless very nice and quiet. The accommodation was very comfortable, quite nicely designed and spacious rooms. The breakfast was abundant and qualitative. Reasonable pricing.
Review 114:very friendly staff, good coffee and breakfast, bathroom with cosy bathrobe ( wonderful after a long trip!) beach only three minutes away; romantic location with wonderful sea view; many restaurants are in walking distance;
Review 115:The hotel doesn't have it's own pool, but you are only 50 metres fromthe beach.
Review 116:The hotel is situated close to all the towns amenities and has seaviews. The hotel is run by a friendly and helpful family who made usfeel very welcome and always available to provide us with informationabout the best tavernas, bars and places to visit. The rooms on the topfloor are only a few years old and the ones to the rear of the hotelhave lovely sea views from your own balcony.
Review 117:Price was really good: we had booked this as a last minute hot dealoffer. Everything in this hotel was good (hosts, location, room cleanand with balcony, even little sea view). Since we only spent one nightwithout breakfast, we cannot really say much more than that we canabsolutely recommend this for spending a few days in Parga.
Review 118:Very few rooms have sea-view. The room which we had was a very small one and with a balcony looking at the road. That's why we couldn't relax till the late evening because of children's cries, cars, buses and other noise.
Review 119:Good location, nice furniture, free spacious parking
