Review 6:Sue was very welcoming, lovely host. We enjoyed the jacuzzi bath, hot tub, swimming pool and outdoor seating area was very relaxing. Breakfast was the best.

Review 7:both my wife and myself found the mattress a little to soft for our liking. We both suffer from bad backs. apart from that there was nothing to complain about and we will be visiting this B&B again

Review 9:Mum and I stayed at Newsham for four days in July and had a fantastic time. It's not your average b&b it's first class. The room beautiful, food excellent and a very warm welcome. Would highly recommend and would certainly return if we venture back to Yorkshire!

Review 10:We had an amazing trip. Sue and her family are so welcoming, everything was pristine and nothing too much trouble. They have great selection of breakfast items and the full english was perfectly cooked. We loved having the pool and the hot tub and spent most of our trip in the garden. We especially enjoyed the breeze house to sit in on an evening listening to the wildlife and watching the rabbits hop about in the orchard

Review 11:If i had to be picky the curtains could do with blackout linings as the sun shone through and woke us up early .

Review 12:From the moment we were greeted we could tell we had chosen a friendly , clean place to stay. The room was cosy and inviting. The breakfast was so tasty and topped off with being able to purchase champagne marmalade :) Loved the Hot Tub

Review 24:Friendly staff, great breakfast, room was fitted to a very high standard perfectly clean, and everything worked exactly as it should. When you go away you don't want hassle, you just need every thing to be logical and work how you would expect, and this is the Newsham Grange plus a bit of good old fashion care and hospitality - well done Sue and the team, in my experience this a is a rare event in the B&B industry ! I would 100% recommend staying here !

Review 62:Everything

Review 63:Extremely friendly and helpful owners, would recommend anybody to stay who is looking for B&B in the area

Review 64:The room was beautiful

Review 65:The security light was on all night just outside our window, which wouldhave affected anyone more sensitive to light than us (we both slept verywell). The weather was great but the swimming pool was still wrapped upfor winter (in mid-June), which was a shame. Couldn't get much WiFisignal at all.

Review 66:Sue and her family were all very welcoming. The room was comfortable andvery clean. We really enjoyed the location.

Review 67:Sue, Ian, staff and of course Axel were delightful. The breakfasts were excellent, including the poached eggs! The accommodation was top notch. Although we booked 2 nights stayed on for another night. Would loved to have extended again but not enought time. We loved the location, very quiet and peaceful, central to areas we visited taking photos of the area and homes our grandparents left in 1913 to immigrate to Canada. Found the locals very helpful and friendly. One of the nicest places we stayed in 3 weeks and would not hesitate to recommend. Hope to return one day. Diane and Barb

Review 68:Perhaps,a little hard to find, but not really an issue as the welcome makes up for any issue.

Review 72:Heating off on arrival but was given an electric heater Bright TV light on all night could not turn it off.. Sorry Sue forgot to mention Would have to be very picky to find anything really wrong here and would find it hard to mark it down

Review 73:Spotlessly Clean and modern decor Breakfast one of the best ever in a B&B. Good choice tea, coffee biscuits in room with a real kettle! Quite secluded location. Friendly hostess.

Review 74:A perfect stay --- for us just a little further away from our final destination than we had intended but that is not a criticism.

Review 75:Spacious, very clean, superbly appointed rooms.

Review 76:Only negative point was that the heating was too hot for us, but it was fine once we turned the thermostat down!

Review 77:Lovely spacious and immaculate bedroom and en suite, all finished to a very high spec; brilliant hot tub under the stars, and it'll be even nicer in the sun in the Summer when the new BBQ is installed!

After staying in some of the smaller B&B's on my first tripthrough England (lifetime dream), Newsham Grange was an Oasis.
