Review 1：Had to leave & I am still trying to get my money back. Its dirty, the water was always cold. our room stank of animals, the heating only goes on for 2 hours? so freezing at night especially as only 1 smelly blanket is provided. Its next to a building site that operates from 7am. staff are polite but unable to do anything. The owner told the staff to tell me I had to complain through booking.com which is not the case. (she wouldn't speak to me) I asked if I could be moved away from the building site and to a room that disallows pets? I was told no as all the other apartments were booked (even though I could see empty apartments around the front) After I checked out to go elsewhere because I was sick of the smell & problems there, I was that night sent an email by them offering my another apartment!! Joke? I had already paid to go else where and moved out! I have stayed in basic apartments before and as long as they are clean, warm with hot water its not a problem. This was not the case with this apartment. Please stay somewhere else, there are plenty of other good value apartments in Vaujany.
Review 2：We asked to check in late and got an answer that reception would be notified. When we arrived in the parking lot and parked the car we walked to a door marked Reception. The door was locked, no phone number to call or other instructions. We tried calling booking.com and they tried to call the hotel but did not get through. We found out later by the hotel manager that booking.com did have an emergency number so they did not do a good enough job on helping us. To make a long story short we ended up sleeping in the cars over night and when the reception opened at 9am we found out that there was another door from the other side of the house that was open all night and where we would have found the key to our apartment.
Review 3：Carrying my girlfriends skis and poles down every morning ! ,if you hire skis top tip is to hire from ride for life near the main lifts and for a small fee a heated locker is available in store ...
Review 4：Chalet was clean and very comfortable with easy access to shops and the main escalator taking you down to the main lifts in the village , great view from the top floor apartment good value for money and nice alpine feel

Review 7：Very cramped, the appartment was supposed to be 2 bedrooms but one of those was really an alcove in the hall with a tower bed, so whoever's sleeping there will probably wake up when you go to the bathroom. You have to clean up afterwards but there's nothing to clean with except a barely functional vacuum cleaner. No chairs on the balcony.
Review 8：Vaujany is great Excellent location in the village, right next to the shop and restaurants (though we didn't realise that at first and made a huge detour the first evening) Great view on the waterfall from the big balcony
Review 9：location in village a bit far from ski lifts up steep inclines. Appartment would be cramped for 4. Charges are made if you want to use Wi-Fi in the room, it is free at the tourist office. Extra charges are made for towels and bed linen. There is a hefty 500Euro deposit required against damages etc. The booking.com price for the apartment was, as far as I could tell, no cheaper than prices advertised at the tourist office.
Review 10：location in village was OK for summer. Appartment was a good size for the two of us. Reasonably well equipped with pots/pans and cutlery. Good views from the balcony of our room.
Review 11：and only what you pay for! It seemed like there was a charge for everything. but there was a lack of simple things like dishwash detergent & cloth, or tablets for the dishwasher. with the onus to clean up, or pay another fee, I found I was constantly cleaning to ensure that it was clean as soon as I was ready to leave. Access to the key wasn't good. Had to wait til 5pm - in another place there was an automated 'out of hours' system to handle this.
Review 12：great views. Wonderful location. I was cycling and this was a solid climb but a lovely place. Small deli nearby.

It wasn't clear that we needed to bring our own sheets and towels (extra cost), make our own beds and that we had to clean the apartment on departure. As this was a business trip this was very inconvenient and time consuming. I don't think this type of accommodation should be advertised on Booking.com where potentially you could book for just a single night and have to make your own bed and clean!

Review 20：Very clean and facilities good. Views were stunning Plenty parking Resort had a good range of facilities in shop, bars, restaurants, swimming pool, ice skating, 10 pin bowling. Very easy to get aound the resort with lifts, escalators and free 'train'
Review 21：Getting back to the residence after a days skiing was a bit of atrek I.e it is not ski in and you must take a lift to get back toVaujany. This means clock watching near the end of the day which isa bit annoying.

The Fine Print
An end-of-stay cleaning between EUR 50 and EUR 90 is not included in the price and the guests need to clean the apartment before departure.A 30% deposit of the total amount of the reservation will be charged upon reservation. The remaining deposit has to be paid at least 1 month before arrival.A security deposit of EUR 500 is required upon arrival for incidental charges. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.
