Review 5：The hotel is excellently placed for easy access to the pier and amusements areas. It is also on the seafront and has rooms with sea views. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I've stayed here a few times both for work and leisure and can recommend it.

Review 6：Was made to feel very welcome. My wife had her hearing dog with her and the staff were extremely understanding of my wife's condition. Lovely hot food cooked from fresh. Comfortable room and bed. Will definitely be returning.

Review 8：Staff very helpful. Lift was broken when we arrived but was quickly fixed. We had a meal on our first night and it was lovely. A little pricey though. The bathroom was a wet room. Great as my partner finds it very difficult to get in and out of a bath. Great will visit again

Review 33：Only criticisms are: Drinks far too expensive in the bar and breakfast/food too expensive in the restaurant. Also breakfast format poor because full English, continental, cereals, toast and juice/drinks etc are charged individually rather than one premium for all like in most hotels. Ok marine lodge is not a b&b but I find it incredible to charge guests the high amount for an individual breakfast when on regent road and marine parade you can purchase breakfast for a fraction of the price.

Review 34：Marine Lodge is a superb hotel in a great location on the promenade in Great Yarmouth. Fabulous staff throughout from the 2 guys that run it to the cleaning ladies that were spot on throughout our 6 night stay whom showed great attention to detail in the cleanliness of our room daily. Lovely room being one of the deluxe rooms.

Review 35：Had to pull the curtains in the day to stop the neighbours looking in and the hallway areas were dark and musty.

Review 38：Stayed in a king size sea view room for two nights. The hotel was quiet (early Feb ). The room was clean and comfortable. The public areas very pleasant and warm.Ate breakfast both mornings and it was freshly cooked and very nice. Have stayed once before and would stay again.

Review 43：The room, and bathroom was very small and pokey. The room smelt of damp, was decorated to a poor standard, had dirt around the drawer handles, ageing furniture, and curtains from when I was a child. The mattress was worn and noisy. The female in charge was rude and unhelpful, and the other female was overheard being quite rude to other guests over breakfast delays. The breakfast was also expensive. I won't be staying again.

Review 44：The restaurant and bar area were comfortable, although there was queuing at breakfast time. There was plenty of parking. The male staff member was friendly and communicative.

Review 114：Convenient, clean and quite good value when compared against the likes of Premier Inn, Travel Lodge etc. The breakfasts were really good with a wide and varied choice, Dinner was also quite good and reasonably priced. Very comfortable bed!

Review 115：So central for the beach and the town nice and clean room. Modern lift very handy for 1st floor rooms arrived a little early for 2pm but was able to leave car in the car park and return a little later where the room was ready .on leaving able to return key but again could leave car in car park until ready to go home . Would recommend the marine lodge.

Review 116：Excellent friendly service from all members of staff from the time we arrived until we departed , our first visit to Great Yarmouth was really enjoyable & it helped staying at the marine lodge to enjoy it . The location of the marina was spot on just a short walk to the town centre, will defiantly be returning to the marina again

Review 119：Would have liked the evening meal to have been available for longer-availability was until 8.00pm. Would have been better to have been given an itemised bill for breakfast each morning so we knew how much to allow for at the end of the holiday...you could pay for breakfast each day if you wanted to though, we chose not to as we were there for 4 nights...I did think we'd have a proper bill when settling up as you do in a restaurant as everything at breakfast was itemised.

Review 120：Location-(ideally located for all the sights and eating houses in Great Yarmouth, right on the wonderful seafront, yet really quiet and peaceful-great for a good nights sleep), bed was sooo comfy, large bedroom and bathroom-more than adequate for a family, lift-so ideal for the elderly/disabled. Own large car-park. Very good breakfast with super amount of choice. Evening meal available.
