Review 1：We we're looking for wedding venues the following day, after a very long drive we we're made to feel welcome as soon as the door was opened to us, not one thing to complain about the location and the vies 'amazing'. and the breakfast was yummy.

Review 5：A very friendly welcome and good location for exploring the Lake District or North Pennines. Our room was excellently appointed and comfortable with a balcony! Good en-suite and excellent breakfast.
Review 6：Our stay was perfect. We booked at the last minute but arrived to a warm and efficient welcome. The room had everything needed and was clean and comfortable. The host recommended, and booked for us, a table at the excellent local pub, the Royal Oak. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast even had homemade marmalade!

Review 15：This is the best B&B i have stayed for some time. Immaculately appointed, facilities superb and beautiful gardens and aspect. Courteous service and great value for money.
Review 16：I needed only a simple room for an overnight stop, and had booked a no frills single, but on arrival, John advised that as they were not quite full, he would upgrade me free of charge, and gave me a very spacious, immaculate double with full facilities. Breakfast was as good as it gets. Highly recommended.

Review 20：Friendly, helpful, efficient service Well positioned quiet spot. 10 min walk from the train station or the town. John was really helpful with providing transport to Dufton and back for our planned walk to fabulous High Cup Nick. This meant we were able to leave the car at home and travel stress-free by train from Leeds on the Settle to Carlisle railway. A good packed lunch was also provided at a cost of £5 each

Review 23：I booked several rooms for my wedding guests. I forgot to let the owners know that they wouldn't arrive until very late until 7pm of the day of arrival. The owners were very understanding and accommodated this. All my guests reported that everything was excellent. Thank you very much.
