Reviews for Devon Hills
Review 1:This was a advertised and booked for 6 people although there were 4 beds and a put you up in the lounge. There were only 4 chairs round the table,so no eating together, 2 wine glasses and the mattress in the master bedroom definitely needs replacing.
Review 2:Clean and tidy,
Review 3:Caravan not clean. Bathroom and rooms dirty, even had cobwebs. Dont believe cleaners even cleaned in preparation for our stay.Matress on bed sank in the middle very uncomfortable! Caravan was smaller than expected.
Review 4:Location
Review 5:The caravan was dirty, had a bad smell and pets had stayed in the caravan which we were not aware of when we booked. Not worth the money!!!
Review 6:The facilities on campsite were great.
Review 7:Not enough to do with young children.
Review 8:The caravan was lovely nice and clean, surprise to have tea coffee and cleaning items never had that before. On the downside of things was disappointed not a lot of things to do with young children,I don't think this site is for a family with children, unless you want to eat and drink all day.
Review 9:This caravan is privately owned which wasn't clear on booking. Therefore it is not part of the Devon hills complex. It is actually Orchard Park which is privately owned next door. This meant that the leisure facilities advertised are not free but chargeable. The park has agreed £30 a week for a family which is good but not made clear.
Review 10:The caravan was well positioned in the park. It was a good size and good facilities in the caravan. Nice secure decking. Clean & well maintained. Good value for money available for short stays.
Review 11:Shame there wasn't any small shop on site where you could purchase few things, like bread, milk, sugar etc.
Review 12:It was in a peaceful location, caravan was in excellent clean comfortable condition.
Review 13:cleanliness was questionable, found hairs in shower and a saucepan that had not been cleaned, Wi-Fi was not free as you had to pay a fee...also found the rooms to be very small but beds comfy... also found the heating didn't come on overnight... I feel this maybe because someone had messed with the controls even though there was a sign saying not to...
Review 14:Good value for what we paid, quiet and comfortable... good base for a couple of nights.. kitchen was very workable and front room had plenty of space. Nice area outside, close to the bus route should you not want to take your car
Review 15:Broken toilet seat, missing light bulbs, cleaningnes very poor. I booked this caravan expecting to have a spacious retreat for 4 day's with my family. I wished I hadn't also you advertise with leasure facilties these also came at a cost of £30 for each person. Because caravan is privately owned and they have no passes agreed.
Review 16:Friendly staff on site and a nice spacious pub. The Blagdon Inn.
Review 17:Caravan accommodation whilst perfectly adequate was not very clean, ie dirty grill pan left by previous occupants. Also master bed a little uncomfortable but fine for a short stay.
Review 18:The pub/restaurant on site was excellent, food & service very good indeed & plenty food choices for both adults & kids. Also the indoor pool & steam room were nice & very clean.
Review 19:Welcome book could of been updated with the simple things like where to take the rubbish as I had to ask someone. And perhaps even be met by someone at the property to be shown round.
Review 20:The view we had was great. Good Location between Torquay and brixham. Enough space for our needs. Good parking space. Facilities inside the caravan was good. Owner was helpful on the phone. Devon is a fantastic place for a family holiday and this caravan made it easy. The on camp pub was very good and the staff was great. Never used the swimming pool as we was always busy out and about.
Review 21:The caravan we booked wasn't the one we thought we booked when booking our short break we thought we booked a caravan actually on site of Devon hills not off and in a private caravan.
Review 22:The facilities in an around the holiday park
Review 23:We only stayed for one night but we found the accommodation to be in a convenient location and it was spotlessly clean, in a quiet position and had the benefit of evening sunshine on the deck. Our 16 year old son loved the pool and steam room.

Review 27:We loved the view from the decking - you could put the kids to bed and sit out in the sun with a bbq.
