Review 1:No bad experiences here.
Review 2:The owners were very friendly and helpful, great to chat with. Our clean and modern room made our stay in Swanage a delight. Delicious breakfast.
Review 3:The staff are very friendly & helpful and make you feel welcome. The room was nice & clean. Tasty breakfasts with a big pot of tea topped off our stay.
Review 4:Nothing at all to dislike.
Review 5:The B&B was decorated and fitted out to a very high standard, the staff were very friendly and happy to advise on places to eat out etc and the breakfast was wonderful.
Review 6:Breakfast was served between 8.30 and 9.15 we felt was a little early for the weekend
Review 7:Lovely family run guest house, we were made to feel very welcome. Fantastic room especially the enormous bed need one at home. Breakfast was great only one criticism was too early for us.
Review 8:Everything was fine.
Review 9:The people were friendly and helpful. The room was fantastic with a really comfy bed and a great breakfast in the morning. Location was good being a very short walk to the beach and the town.
Review 10:Very friendly welcome. I was down for a few days fishing and this was just a few minutes walk to the seafront and all the local shops and pubs. Free on road parking in front of the accommodation. Breakfast buffet to help yourself from for cereals, juice, coffee etc plus they'll make you a pot of tea and cook either a full English breakfast or just something like eggs on toast if you're not that hungry. Very nice on-suite room. Great value for money. I would not hesitate to book the Millbrook again when I return to Swanage.
Review 11:Comfortable, homely, family run B&B. We had a twin room with a shared bathroom. I was a little apprehensive about the shared bathroom because of low quality experiences in the past, but I had nothing to worry about - it was a high quality wet room. The room was cosy and comfortable; and despite it being one of the warmest weeks of the year, Anthony and Tracey had made sure that it was well ventilated so that we didn't arrive to a heat box. There was a good choice for breakfast and the service was speedy. Short walk to town and the sea front.
Review 12:Shower a little week but we are use to a power shower.
Review 13:Great location only a few minutes from the centre of Swanage, good breakfast and comfortable bed we hope to return next year.
Review 14:Our room was very small - no space for luggage.
Review 15:Excellent location, wonderful breakfast, very friendly hosts. Swanage is a lovely, low-key seaside resort town. The area has beautiful walks. Take the birding cruise on Friday evening to see puffins nesting in the cliffs south of town.
Review 16:The room was spacious, with TV, coffee, tea, biscuits. We had en suite, shower was good. The bed was ever so comfortable, nearly brought it home with us. Plenty to eat for breakfast. Good hosts, Anthony and Tracy, made us feel at home
Review 17:It was very friendly and welcoming. Lovely people. Excellent room. Very clean. Good location few minutes walk from the beach and town. Bus stops just outside. We have booked to go back next year.
Review 18:The cacophonous tuneless neverending church bells all day Sunday right across the street. uncomfortable pillows. poor shower pressure.
Review 19:Was close to town.
Review 20:Al thou breakfast was very good and filling just expand the menu a little bit more. Fresh fruit starter could be a little bit more. but that,s being picky.
Review 21:very quiet, not far from railway and short drive to great walking and small villages
Review 22:The en-suite was quite small with no bath, a shower only, but it did not detract from the overall visit.
Review 23:Fabulous, super clean house in a wonderful location very close to the steam railway. Very tasty, generous breakfasts served by the owner Anthony. We felt very welcome and had a lovely time.
Review 24:Nothing. I can't fault a thing.
Review 25:The location was excellent being a very short walk to the high street and beach. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Anthony is very friendly and his recommendations on places to eat are spot on. Breakfast service was very efficient and a really good breakfast. Extra toast if you want it. Nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely go back.
Review 26:Bedroom was rather small and crampted
Review 27:Good location with a nice outlook. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. A good base for the beach or coastal walks.
Review 28:Breakfast only between 830-9 so no relaxing if you wan to eat. If you don't appear you get a loud knock on the door asking if you are coming down. I felt like a teenager rather than someone who gets up at 6am every weekday to go to work and likes to relax at the weekend. Also shower was very small and weak although hot.
Review 29:Room very clean
Review 30:We stayed for 2 days. Had full English breakfast, fresh and delicious. Personnel was helpful, suggested great options to explore the cliffs. Location is also perfect: city centre, pubs, and shops are near.
Review 31:Limited time slot for breakfast....between 8.30 and 9.00 only.
Review 32:Ideal location with free parking. Spotlessly clean and well decorated. Excellent breakfast

Review 34:Staff were very welcoming and very pleasant . they were very informative in what was going on in the area including diving conditions . Nice hearty breakfast (cooked to order) with a varied selection of fruits, cereals, yogurts toast , tea and coffee(which was surprisingly good for a B&B ) , will most certainly stay at Millbrook Guest House the next time I an in Swanage .
Review 35:Beds are very comfortable Breakfast Close to town centre Quiet Tea/Coffee in rooms Even in a room with shared bathroom, you still have your own sink
Review 36:Not enough room for all guests to park their cars, otherwise great.
Review 37:Clean hotel, friendly staff, comfortable room, good breakfast. Perfect for Swanage, all within short walking distance, next to bus station and Swanage railway. We didn't have to use the car. We love Swanage. Within short travelling distance to Corfe, Wareham, Poole, Bournemouth and lots more. Would go back to Millbrook any time.
Review 38:No lounge area available, but rooms did have TV.
Review 39:Location was excellent. We parked our car and did not use it for 3 days. Close to station for steam/diesel trains and close to pier for ferries. Our room (4) was large, light and airy. Breakfast was excellent.
Review 40:The room was too hot over night and we had shared bathroom facilities. The breakfasts were only served between 8.30 and 9.00am not enough time and too early for people like us wanting a restful start to our day.
Review 41:The friendly and helpful family staff. The location.
Review 42:Nothing
Review 43:The number of repeat customers they obviously have. The room and en-suite was very clean in fact the whole building looked very well looked after. We were particularly impressed with the owners. We felt as if we were long lost friends rather than new customers.

Review 99:Both the room and shared bathroom were great, delicious full english breakfast and friendly staff who didn't mind that we were checking in quite late. Bench outside for smokers :)
Review 100:Price at the very upper limit of what I would pay for a B&B. But I guess Swanage is expensive?
Review 101:The owners/staff were all helpful and friendly. The bed comfortable and all facilities good. Gave us good advice on where to eat and what to do.
Review 102:Very weak shower, short breakfast time 8.30-9am, partner wasn't impressed with the full English (quite fatty).
Review 103:Perfect location, incredibly clean bedroom and bathroom, friendly staff, scrambled eggs with breakfast!
Review 104:If there was anything it would be that the bed was too firm, but this is personal preference.
Review 105:The room was nicely decorated & very well laid out. The room was very quiet, we stayed two nights and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delicious. All the staff were very friendly. We will stay here again on our next visit to Swanage. Many thanks to the owner and staff for an enjoyable visit.
