Reviews for Riverside Apartment

Review 1:The apartment was very clean was very comfortable and welcoming there was even a small Christmas tree with lights on and every thing we needed for our short break

Review 2:There was nothing to dislike

Review 3:Central location was handy for all amenities. A well appointed apartment with good facilities. Friendly owners who offered great assistance.

Review 4:When we got there, there was a sign on the bed advising that there would be an additional charge of £20 a night for the use of the second bed. This should be advised before you have booked somewhere.

Review 5:Location and facilities are perfect, especially for such a reasonable price.

Review 6:We enjoyed our stay at the property - it was a good experience and a good base for Devon & Cornwall. The town was very pretty. The shower was a bit disappointing, with the leak on the wall, also the toilet flusher needs a new cap. Thanks for a great stay!

Review 7:I contacted the Riverside Apartment on July 9th to say that I had just received my credit card statement and saw that I have been charged an extra £40 which was not part of the original booking statement. I asked them to refund this but have had no reply. I am most concerned about the unauthorised use of my credit card details to make this additional payment and the fact that they have not responded to my email.

Review 8:All good.

Review 9:Almost a 'home from home' with all the facilities we needed. Reasonably close to local shops, pub, supermarket and chippy. Could walk to town centre but quite a steep upward incline. Steam railway easy to get to.

Review 10:None.

Review 11:I liked most the help the was given to me on how to operate things in the apartment tgat I am not familiar with.. eventhough it was late in the evening

Review 12:Only 3 easy chairs and 2 dining chairs and a dinky table, for an apartment marketed as for 4 people. Also crockery/cutlery a bit thin on the ground, you need to supply for 6 people if 4 people are staying please.

Review 13:Parking 20 metres away, comfortable beds, good shower and big TV.

Review 14:Wifi not the fastest but otherwise difficult to find fault.

Review 15:Great place to base myself whilst working in Cornwall for the week. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Much more space and better value than staying in a hotel instead.

Review 16:Riverside apartment is actually what you would call a 'starter home' in a small housing development. There are no views from any window in the property other than of other houses. The river is approximately 100m away out of line of sight. This area of Launceston is urban/light industrial. If you read the small print, it does say that there are communal areas for seating, but the property does not have any private outdoor facilities. In the small print it also tells you that there is a charge for wifi. However...If I pay £260 for two nights accomodation, I do NOT expect to be charged extra for what in 21st Century England is widely and freely available. I am not going to be spending my time downloading movies, just regular internet access as you normally have. To be charged for this is a real negative in my view, especially having paid the aforementioned £260. Notwithstanding, the fact that there is very little or no 3G access, you can only get 3G when you leave the property and walk down the road. Not helpful when you are trying to Google travel information. It isnt the additional £5 cost. It is the principle. Make sure you read the small print before you book

Review 17:Spotlessly clean and very well appointed for two people. Very good shower. Kitchen fully equipped and able, beds and sofa comfy. Shops in walking distance
