Review 1：the a la carte menu in the evening was very limited and some items disappointing, in particular the two vegetarian choices (a plate of semi cooked vegetables and two small pieces of cheese on toast with a spoonful of shredded ?cabbage), were extremely poor and unworthy of such a lovely hotel. If we come again we shall probably eat out, which would be a shame as the dining room itself was very pleasant and the staff delightful.

Review 2：the ambience, the shabby-chic effect in the salon, the quirky paintings, the numerous photo albums to browse through, overall gave a very relaxed atmosphere. the bedroom was very good, clean, comfortable, excellent bathroom. Excellent buffet breakfast each morning.

Review 13：Unfortunately I was taken violently ill part way through dinner, was unable to finish it and had to spend the whole night making rather too much acquaintance with the bathroom. Little remorse nor sympathy from the hotel reception when I paid the bill the next morning.

Review 17：The dinner! This is absolutely a point of improvement. We dined one evening in the hotel and went elsewhere the other evenings.

Review 18：The room, with bathroom and balcony and the spectacular view. The atmospheric building. The decoration of the entire hotel is superb, Beautiful flower arangments and nice artl. The hospitality, the fact that children and dogs are welcome gives the hotel a very homey atmosphere. Lovely tea from Palais des thes. Nice breakast. Friendly staff! For us it is a place to visit again and again!

Review 21：Parking was a little difficult because of having to use a public carpark which was very busy. However the hotel subsidised it, which helped. Whilst breakfast was very nice, I thought there would be a little bit more variety on the pastry side, given it was continental.

Review 25：Unfortunately it was sooo windy during our stay that we could hardly open the window of our front beach room!! Because of that also no outdoor seats at the cafe' which was a pity. Waiting time at the restaurant for dinner was very long. The room was a beach front one as we requested, however it was so small that only the bed could barely fit!
