The family-run Rockview Guesthouse is situated in the heart of Paignton, just a 5-minute walk from both the Rail Station and the coast. Free private on-site parking is available for guests.
The colourful bedrooms all feature an en suite bathroom and some offer views of Queens Park, which is home to the local Rugby and Cricket teams. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV.
Rockview’s dining room is where guests can enjoy the full English breakfast served each morning. It consists of sausage, bacon, hash browns and eggs, cooked to preference. An omelette option is also available.
Guests can take a 10-minute stroll along the seafront to Paignton Pier or the picturesque harbour in half the time. Sightings of the rare Cirl Bunting can be seen in the reed beds of Broadsands Beach, just 2 miles south of the hotel.

Review 1：Rooms could do with being updated to a higher specification, bit of wear & tear to the property.

Review 7：Lovely b&b really close to the beach Nigel and Karen were just lovely and couldn't be more helpfully and brilliant with our young children. Our daughter dropped her night time pillow in a puddle on arrivalshe was really upset because she can't sleep without it and the popped it thought their washing machine for us so she could have it that night. Family room downstairs was great so we didn't feel like our children were disturbing anyone else. Breakfast was lovely perfectly cooked. Will defiantly go back. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Review 22：I was due to arrive in Paignton on the overnight coach from London so when I made my booking I asked if there was any chance I could leave my luggage at 7.30am, no problem they said. When I returned at 7.00pm to check in they had already taken my suitcase up to my room. The room was spotless and so very comfortable and quite I had 2 great nights sleep. And on departure day as I am a bit infirm while I ate my superb (early) breakfast they fetched my luggage downstairs for me
Review 23：We were taken to back of house by sat nav.and because I called out not knowing where to go.was spoken to very rudely.Stayed in family room,far to small.Very noisy- floors,fans.got no sleep very uncomfortable sleeping.Breakfast ok,but think frozen sasages cheap bacon.When pointed a few things out in email.Had a very rude email sent back.Very bad customer Service

Review 26：I arrived at 10 pm after a delayed flight to Bristol and I was given a wonderful and warming welcome. Having explained that I needed to leave early the next day arrangements were made for my breakfast which was delicious and plentiful! The location is amazing to explore Paignton and the surrounding areas. The tea and coffee supplies in your room are plentiful and I will definitely stay on my next visit to torbay

Review 31：Stayed one night as part of a surprise birthday and wedding anniversary trip next day on the Dartmouth steam and cruise. Arranged bottle of champagne in room and nothing was too much trouble. Room bright and so clean and the En suite spotless !! Owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well cooked hot and delicious and plenty of it. Would certainly recommend as great value and made to feel really welcome. Had no intention of returning at time of booking but now plan to come back to Paignton on another trip. Thank you so much for helping make my surprise a real success. Paula xx
Review 32：Unfortunately, we were on the top floor and the constant noise from the toilet system along with the hard bed, made it difficult to get much sleep. Also, we could hear the person in the next room flushing their toilet, even blowing their nose.

Dangerous hand rail - held on with nails and falling off 3 Very dirty shower - hate to think what germs there were there. 4.Chipped and dirty furniture and paintwork - basically run down. 4.No WiFi. Not bothering to list any more issues ..... Frankly this place is in the dark ages - not what you'd expect in this day and age ......
Review 35：We stayed during one of the hottest days of the year, our room was on the top floor and as we all know heat rises so a very sticky nights sleep, would recommend that a fan is offered in the rooms for a more comfortable night during the summer.
