Reviews for Bintan Lagoon Resort
Review 1:Was not happy that at 7am I could hear the construction workers and leaf blowers, so there's no chance of sleeping in. Showers were dirty. Could use a bit of updates. When I went it was pretty dead, but that could be due to us going during non-peak. Food could use a bit of help, even a basic omelet was questionable. At one point we were the only ones in the restaurant, and no one was around we had to literally say hello anyone there to get our check. Prices for food are pretty high and food is not great.
Review 2:The best part of this hotel was it's location right by the beach. I liked that hammocks were on the beach and that there was a restaurant right on the beach. Staff was friendly throughout the resort.
Review 3:Rooms smelling and feeling moldy. Very big hotel, can be very crowded and feels a bit folksy and vulgar.
Review 4:Good sporting and leisure activity opportunities, polite and friendly personnel.
Review 5:the food price is very expensive for that kind of standard and the waiting time is really long. Never top up the toilet roll in our room until we request.
Review 6:The room is really big but only little sea view could be see.
Review 7:The lobby needs to be changed. How can you showcase a kiddy play area at the very entrance. It is offcourse required - but should be located on the side somewhere..... You loose the advantage of excellent location / beach etc etc ... due to the lobby. Also room service etc needs to be pulled up - v average.
Review 8:Beach - v. nice. Lagoon for water sports - v. nice. water sports staff - v good. Pool and greenery and greens - v nice
Review 9:Beach: lots of tar, we stayed around New Year and the sea was a bit choppy, which is fine, but life guards wouldn't let you anywhere near the water not mentioning trying to surf or even trying to have some fun in the waves Breakfast: you've got to queue up for ~30 min to go around the buffet table and I wouldn't say it was worth it as the food choice there wasn't generally greate. Surprisingly coffee was good. Room service is quite a rip off and takes ages.
Review 10:lots to do for kids: 2 swimming pools one of which has some slides kids indore gym kids club there was a fun fair with a bouncy castle, merry go round and other fun fair'y stuff leisure centre has got a few pool tables, table football, table tennis Decent coffee both at breakfast and from the coffee shop.
Review 11:Restaurant staffs at the burger place (Terrace?) were disappointingly slow. It wasn't just us, but almost everyone seemed to have waited for more than 30 mins for their food, and they've even messed up our bill. The rooms weren't ready when we checked in at 3:40PM when it's supposed to be ready by 3:00PM, and the staff didn't even bother to check if there're other rooms available. They've even lost the receipt while sorting it out. Spa was overpriced. We won't come back.
Review 12:I had bad experience with WiFi. No WiFi at all when I'm a businesswoman. I need WiFi for work standby.
Review 13:Bintan lagoon resort is just over rated. I'm from singapore and the food in Singapore is way more cheaper. I think they should start reconsidering about their food/drinks and leisure sports pricings. It's a total rip off.
Review 14:It was rundown and gross in parts. They clearly don't take pride in their hotel anymore.
Review 15:The view of the beach was nice, but the beach itself was full of tar
Review 16:Unavailability of internet access in the rooms. Television resolution in the room is not sharp. Door lock in my room was faulty. Conversation from adjoining room can be easily heard.
Review 17:Breakfast was tasty.
Review 18:Food is overpriced , doesn't have the quality for that price Under staffed, waiting is longer Rooms were not clean enough
Review 19:Location was beautiful Activities are plenty
Review 20:Be aware that you are going to a resort (meaning a jail) as it's very difficult to go out : outside transportation are not allowed to enter and the gate is 3 km from the resort) Do not do there during peak season as the unqualified staff is not ready to cope with the crowd. Expect to queue for breakfast buffet and wait at least 1 hour for main course in any other restaurants Very nice beach but polluted with tar. If you want to enjoy be ready to spend time cleaning your feet or sandals Food and drinks are very expensive and related to quality and standart or the resort (up to 10SGD for a bottle of water)
Review 21:Nothing
Review 22:The hotel room!!!!! We were totally disappointed the hotel room booked via booking.com. The room that we had was back at the corner of the hotel with no view and lack of sun light and felt uncomfortable. The toilet were disappointed unclean n the bath tub is dirty. We have been in Bintan lagoon for so many times and this is the first time we didn't enjoy our stays at at. The beach full of these black tar ( which stained on our shirts, slippers and feets!) hard to remove and clean it. The morning breakfast were totally disappointed with the varieties given and also the full occupancies during our stay. Just disappointed with the room!!!! Attached our room view
Review 23:We always enjoy Bintan lagoon resort as our family short gateway . Staff are very humble and good services rendered The beach is nice The terrace lounge is good n cosy
Review 24:Fuel Oil on the beach. Waste water sink into the sea / beach right after the hotel. Old hotel that require repair. Mold on the wall at the balcony. Prices in restaurant just flying.
Review 25:Good location - easy access from Singapore. Beautiful views. Good golf club. Excellent kids entertainment.
Review 26:Wi-Fi connection may be a problem. Christmas dinner was really expensive.
Review 27:Clean, friendly and warm environment. Facilities and activities were satisfactory. Room was very tidy and clean. Housekeeping and other services were really good with friendly staff.
Review 28:Extremely weak wifi connection in room, staff like forever busy, activities are generally expensive
Review 29:Swimming pool is good, a range of facilities/activities to play with, near to sea, wide range of breakfast buffet selection, shuttle bus back to terminal
Review 30:Twin bed rooms were assigned instead of double rooms, with no notification. Finally, after complaining and waiting for a few minutes, the rooms were changed, on different floors. Breakfast is crowded
Review 31:Location is excellent. Staff is nice. Swimming pools are nice and not too crowded. Good value for money.
Review 32:The maintenance of the rooms very poor many things not working in the room. Food quality at the clubhouse and pedicure centre very poor.
Review 33:The facilities and food at the main restaurant
Review 34:Location too far from airport, overpriced restaurants, poor staff service, cold buffet food, old style rooms,1 lift out of order, poor quality food, isolated resorts.
Review 35:Wifi,Breakfast,,pool,lobby,,shops
Review 36:Bintan lagoon resort should invest in fitting jet wash in toilet seats.... Lot of inconvenience to children...
Review 37:Activities, swimming, sea sports, beach, landscaping, golf, archery, kids club...... Everything was perfect.
Review 38:Service could be better, sometimes there is a need to wait for placing an order. Food and drinks a bit expensive.
Review 39:Hotel is older but very well preserved. It has nice facilities. swimming pool, access to the beach, beach bar. Breakfast was various and tasty. Food in the beach bar delicious. Nice cocktails. Staff is polite and very helpful. Free transport from ferry terminal to the hotel. Huge property. All in all very nice, enjoyable stay in resort.
Review 40:The prices for food and drinks as well as other services like massages in the resort are totally overpriced. It cannot be that the food and drinks are the same prize, or even more expensive, than in Singapore. The quality of the food was o.k. but does not match the prize at all.
Review 41:Friendly staff. Big offer of activities to do. Good choice of restaurants.
Review 42:The price of items such as souvenirs, drinks and attractions expensive. Breakfast no change all the same
Review 43:Beach,the food area called Nelayan (the best throughout the 3days for dinner), swimming pool n bar and Mangrove Tour
Review 44:The food, every place we went, was horrible. Perhaps it's a bad oil that's being used? There were chunks in our beer at Terrace. We asked for a refill and the waitress cleaned the tap with her bare hand then poured a beer. It still had chunks. There was mold in our room - above the bed, in the coffee pot, and in the bathroom. The shower flooded the bathroom. The smell in the room was so bad (moldy) we had to open the door to get fresh air. Tiny ants got into all of our clothes. The towels at the beach wreak of cigarettes. The staff cleans the beach in the morning but the tide brings in a bunch of trash by afternoon. The beaches outside of the resort's boundaries are littered with trash. For the money we paid, we expected better. I would only give this resort 1 star.
Review 45:The staff was very nice, the massages were excellent. The drinks were good.
Review 46:The food is expensive taking advantage of no near restaurants , wifi was down . Noise of construction on the weekend where they suppose to stop working
Review 47:The beach and swimming pool
Review 48:1. The F&B prices restaurants were too steep especially the Japanese restaurant. This will put people off from solely staying in the hotel. 2. There was no shuttle service to town. 3. The free Saturday beach party was virtually empty. Maybe hotel can consider giving free Bintan beer etc to entice more people to participate.
Review 49:1. Staff especially the housekeepers were friendly. We also like the Indian chef who served us during breakfast. 2. Swimming pool and the lush greenery were immaculately maintained.
Review 50:The food is not great (except the japanese restaurant that we love) and quite expensive! As an example - We had to wait 40min to be served at the restaurant in front of the beach (Rice field) and the food was not great...sad because there is a nice view.
Review 51:The hotel has great facilities and is perfect for a family with children! There are 2 beautifull swimming pools, tennis courts, children playground...and is very closed to a wonderfull golf course. The staff is friendly. The ferry from Singapore arrives directly at the hotel - no need to take a bus or a taxi.
Review 52:The mini shop doesnt over there dont sell much things. If anyone going there, dont forget bring yr own cup noodles or crackers... If u dont mind to eat expensive foods in the resort, is much better. The breakfast, lunch and dinner abit expensive then singapore selling. Or can rent a taxi cost $46 for 2hrs to buy yr own thing to bring in to the resort.
Review 53:The staff in bintan resort lagoon mostly very friendly..nice for doing honeymoon or relax over there.. The breakfast, lunch and dinner is nice but abit expensive.
Review 54:The reception staff was unattentive and did not do a good Job helping with our queries. The value we got for the Money was horrible... we could have spent a Weekend in Bali for half the Price including flights. Foods and Drinks were overpriced (same standard as Singapore whilst being in Malaysia). The Resort has lost it´s charme, it all feels like a relict from glorious past days. The Sushi Restaurant charges top Prices and delivers very poor Quality. The main Restaurant in OK with it´s steam boat buffet.
Review 55:The bartender in the Terrace bar was a blast and our waitress in the Rice Restaurant too.
Review 56:Wifi connection was very poor, we had to go to reception area to be able to do something...
Review 57:Stuff!!! Super helpful and friendly. Especially the manager Joni, he is the best!
Review 58:Part of the Gym was undergoing renovation . Food was super expensive. Some parts of resort are undergoing renovation too.
Review 59:Hotel staff, Lenny was very helpful. Water was crystal clear and I could swim among >5 types of fish during low tide. Direct ferry to the resort was very convenient . Quite like the oxtail soup at the golf course.
Review 60:Our recent stay at Bintan Lagoon Resort was made so much more special by the friendliness of all the staff at the resort. Couldnt fault a thing. Loved the food and the beautiful swimming pool.
Review 61:A lot of reasons not to go back. massage is extremely expensive(singapore has cheaper massage). No shuttle to go to kampung to buy oleh-oleh. Taxi very expensive to go to kampung. No sailing activities. Surprisingly very limited Indonesian food option and seafood buffet dinner was the most expensive dinner we had but very limited options. Wifi connection slow. Reception staff are not so friendly. Everything expensive
Review 62:It's close to the beach and it has it's own ferry terminal. Variety of restaurant available. Cultural dance that welcomes guests upon arrival. Big rooms.
Review 63:Way too expensive for the service and quality. Concierge staff not very supportive (unless you stay in the coatliest villas). Customer satisfaction didnt seem to be their priority. Be prepared for mosquitoes.
Review 64:Fireworks, kids play area, indian food, room size, club.
Review 65:Food is too expensive. Far more expensive than a fine dining restaurants in Singapore. Food should be priced far lower. Average lunch was around SGD 50 per person which is a lot.
Review 66:Place was nice and cozy. Leisure activities were quite fun.
Review 67:Facilities not well maintain. Overprice for most item and service.
Review 68:the ferry go straight to the resort. beautiful beach. great place to relax our mind.
Review 69:Visitors are very much confined to the resort and have few chances to explore the island of Bintan. Good for families with small children but stifling for adults. Small excursions to Tanjung Pinang might be worthwhile.
Review 70:The beach was beautiful!
Review 71:Most places served same menu. Activities were expensive. Not very good WIFI signal unless you were in main reception.
Review 72:The resort was large and had lots of activities on offer.
Review 73:They organize a beach disco party every Saturday night until 1 am! It was very loud and right across from our room. We should have been warned and/or accommodated accordingly.
Review 74:Good transportation.
Review 75:Quality of Food F&B overpriced combined with bad quality Staff seems to be overworked and not well trained. Breakfast is terrible and the breakfast room is far too small
Review 76:Staff is generally very friendly Location and beach is nice
Review 77:This resort in principle has good facilities - space, pools, golfcourses and a beach. However the food is worst I have eaten and theworst value I have ever experienced. The restaurant Rice - only servesprocessed and heated frozen food. I doubt there is a chef anywhere. Whenwe asked for crab they told us that it had expired in the freezer! Thewine list is overpriced petrol. If you have booked you will need to becautious about food safety standards too, especially at the pool barwhere we were served dodgy nachos. However the best food in the resortis at the golf club house. And service too. Yet the golf service iscompletely without class and despite paying $us120 a round I was askedto pay more to have an icebox on the buggy for my drink! After 2 weeks Iam still waiting for my itemised bill to be sent to me after numerousrequests. You will also need to sight your luggage on the boat. LuckilyI insisted we see our clubs as the staff lied to my face assuring methere were on the boat and they were not. I warned a couple of otherpassengers and they had the same experience. The ferry left late meaninga late night for our kids getting home.
Review 78:1. Food is expensive,19SGD for one fried rice,20SGD for 6 sticks of satay,15SGD for a hamburger worse than mcdonald, 37SGD for a lunch buffet with very limited choice of food, and still tastes awful, basically everything tastes awful. AND RMB! price in the menu is exclusive of the extra 21% tax. Average waiting time is one hour plus 2. Water sports and spa are expensive, 80SGD for half an hour jet ski 3. No transfer to other areas of the island 4. Got big cockroach in the convenience store 5. No instant noodles in convenience store
Review 79:Lovely beach, nice location, nearby ferry terminal
Review 80:The menus offered in the restaurants and the quality of the food were not up to a standard that experienced travellers who enjoy good cuisine would expect. Formalities for check-in and passport control need perfecting.
Review 81:Lovely beach. Enjoyable escape from Singapore. One and a half hours by ferry direct to the resort.
Review 82:Hotel was very 'tired' - it could really do with being maintained. Very expensive. More expensive than Singapore. No shops or restaurants within 20 minutes for cheaper alternatives. Although staff were friendly they were also very badly trained. Why have 20 staff when 2 would do if they had the proper training.
Review 83:Great location and plenty of activities. Staff were very friendly.
Review 84:F & B prices are quite expensive. I was surprised when I had a meal at the other hotel, where I paid only a half price! Towels need to be changed to new ones. There are stains and holes. Sandflies on beach.
Review 85:Staffs are very attentive and nice.
Review 86:WiFi connection wasn't the greatest, wait for ferry was long trying to get back to Singapore (not really the BL's problem).
Review 87:Lovely area, lots of amenities, staff was very helpful and friendly!
Review 88:Sea facing room is misleading. It may face the sea but you can't see it because of the trees. Should state as much when booking
Review 89:Rooms were large and comfortable. Nice balcony with furniture
Review 90:Everything was expensive in this resort. It is overprice especially forfood. My family spent over sgd500 for our dinner on the first day. Theyused to have shuttle bus to town and other resort for other food optionsbut now to get to the town we have to pay sgd100. Everything is way toooverprice from food to seasport etc. Even the mineral water which isselling sgd0.50 In their town area but the resort is charging sgd5. Forsuch rates I'm paying, I rather go somewhere further, not worth themoney for such trip at all!
Review 91:My family like the idea that the ferry terminal was just right in theresort. It is very conviencent. Overall the staffs was very friendlyand helpful.
Review 92:The Wifi was poor, the Bed is not that comfortable to sleep as not comfy. We booked sea-view but we were not provided the sea-view room :(
Review 93:The activities at the hotel.
Review 94:Had to queue for ages for breakfast, ordered an extra bed on check in and didn't receive it till 10.30pm after many reminders. Food and drinks are very expensive and limited menus
Review 95:Hotel and beach are lovely, staff are friendly
Review 96:This is the worst travel experience I have ever had in my life. Trip to Bintan is a nightmare because of this hotel. 1. The facilities are extremely terrible. The room was humid and freezing. The air conditioner was out of control. I planned to enjoy the weekend in Bintan but only to find myself catch a cold in the room. 2. The staffs' attitude was so bad that I can not believe this is a five star hotel. 3. The food in the hotel is disgusting and expensive. 4. There is nearly no wifi signal in the hotel. Can you believe that? Five star hotel with no wifi!!!
Review 97:Sorry, there is nothing I like! Not at all!
Review 98:There were no towels available in bedroom on second night. We had to call housekeeping who sent them to the room readily.
Review 99:Staff are friendly and helpful--they were overworked with a full house. Hotel should train all staff to cover /double up the work--caddies as housekeepers etc
Review 100:The front desk really need improve effiency. It take long time for checking in. The staff also not friendly. we tred the rice and shocked by the slow speed of device. Wait almost one hour for our food.
Review 101:- beach towels always run out - beach has sandflies - hotel did not want to honour late check out (as listed in booking.com for genius) - dress code (no singlet, no swimming wear etc) applied at free buffet breakfast restaurant - free buffet breakfast very limited variety - bathtub drainage very slow in draining water - bed linen and towel has stains - toilet bowl has foul smell - toilet bowl cover has yellow urine stains - everything is extremely expensive - room air con not cold - reception did not mention about free wifi password until prompted
Review 102:- resort has a few swimming pools
Review 103:More can be done in terms of sea sport activities.
Review 104:Hotel was quite good and over my expectations. free wifi in the rooms, clean room, good breakfast, multiple variety of cuisines, shuttle service to the ferry terminal
Review 105:The 'free' wifi in the lobby connection was irregular, but it's free so can't complain too much. (There is paid WIFI, not sure if that is any good). Food and drinks is generally very expensive (ie/ 2 sandwiches, a soft drink and beer cost around SGD 70. 2 pax dinner buffet SGD 140. You might get a good deal on your hotel room, but you will spend more on food and drinks. Spa (despite friendly and attentive service) quite overpriced. Bathroom bathtub was leaking.
Review 106:Friendly staff all around, always service with a smile. I love the beach. Comfortable bed, clean room and appreciate the free amenities (toiletries/coffee & tea). Easy and fuss free check-in and check-out, free shuttle bus service to and from the Ferry terminal. Though a few faults in this place, it is overcome by the genuinely friendly and caring service of all the hotel staff.
Review 107:The resort was comfortable, clean and had lots of activities available for guests. The beach was awesome and water was clean and shallow. Love the beach!
Review 108:The place is overpriced!!! The restaurants have the same price as Singapore. Going for a 45 minutes snorkeling costs around 40 SGD (in another part of Indonesia or Thailand you get a full day trip for that price). Cleanliness could be improved. There were ants in our room and my boyfriend got an infection from the swimming pool. Night club was not operating during our stay and they said because the hotel is full. What's is the point in that?
Review 109:Nice and big swimming pool, close to Singapore
Review 110:Resort too expensive for it was. Food and drink pricey. The room wasn't great for the price. Brochure and advertising misleading. Loud music in bar. Family resort quite noisy. Suit families for holiday and not too fussy. In the evening groups of men drinking and on the prowl. Not very savoury. Wifi didn't work in rooms so we had to sit in a noisy bar.
Review 111:Most staff were friendly. The manager tried to be helpful.
Review 112:Room and bed sheets smelled of smoke. Generally dingy appearance both in the rooms and throughout the hotel- can do with an update.
Review 113:Good swimming pool, tasty food options.
Review 114:Food wise is expensive and with limited choices. Spa is good but expensive and environment is noisy. 2 of our 4 rooms suffers from ants attack n damp floor.
Review 115:The beach and swimming pool were good. If the pool has some slide, it will be even more enjoyable. Also like the recreational center.
Review 116:Not much selection on breakfast and dinner. Buffet dinner was really expensive but not worth it. Not a lot of activities and you need to pay for almost everything (even the wifi). Everything is quite expensive.
Review 117:The place is really nice and easily accessible from Singapore. The staff were also very friendly. Also very clean and relaxing.
Review 118:1) Very very expensive !!!!!! All the sports, food are extremely expensive. 3 ~ 10 times higher than Singapore !!! 2) staff response is slow and un-professional, though they all try to seems to be very busy and kind 3) too many mosquitoes and un-know bugs 4) dirty beds. Not sure whether got bed bugs or not. I got so much bits by un-know insects
Review 119:1) nice view and hotel (excluding the extreme expensive price factor) 2) quite placce
Review 120:Check in was very slow. Not much variety where food was concerned. Overall slowness of service. Waited for above 40 mins for food. Quality of food left much to be desired.
Review 121:The room was clean.
Review 122:WiFi should have been available also in the room, but was not. No safe box available at the reception, which is expected from 5 stars hotel. Room with view to nowhere, even if we choose a room with view. Very expensive food with service fee and tax on top, which was not the case egg. in Nirwana Gardens. We were not able to do anything with air con, it was very cold there and when a room to balcony was open everything was wet.
Review 123:Beach and pool area are almost empty, very nice. Very nice staff.
Review 124:High prices of food deter many of my friends from joining us on our golf escapades.
Review 125:I love the 2 golf courses which are located within walking distance from the hotel. Staff is wonderful and always ready to serve golfers.
Review 126:1.) extremely expensive food. like seriously? with the quality of taste and service..its too not worthy 2.) old and musty rooms. first time we opened the faucet, rusty water came out. 3.) poor customer service
Review 127:the beach, nothing else
Review 128:THE FOOD ARE WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Worst is, we paid so much for the food that isn't taste good! I havent tasted any food that really taste good in this hotel, and yet the price is so HIGH
Review 129:The staff are friendy and very accomodating. The facilities are nice, swimming pools, and the beach is very nice.
Review 130:room is a bit far from beach and swimming pool ,there is no entertainment facility as its ads tell, feel been cheated .Limited food selection and expensive. Traffic is bad and not convenient to other place of this island.
Review 131:nice beach and swimming pool ,room has a balcony with beautiful view.
Review 132:1.fairly old facility, on first instance, found bed bugs and ants all over the bed and a damp smelly room. 2. Stained linen and upholstery 3. over priced food - they basically make up for the room costs. 4. though their website says they have a "ferry landing directly at the resort's doorstep", they actually charge substantially for dropping you off at the ferry terminal, which is actually a 25 min ride away from the resort. 4. Attitude of senior staff - i was told bugs, etc were to be expected since this resort was in a jungle like area. Am not sure that argument is good enough to accept bed bugs..!!
Review 133:the beachside location and the pools.
Review 134:1) Buffet lunch cost at S$ 48 ++ and dinner at S$88 ++. All foods are quite expensive. Only thing affordable is one of the restaurant, which have limited seats/fully booked. 2) No wifi access in the room at all. Even at the lobby, unable to connect as well. 3) No shuttle bus to other areas, taxi is charged at S$ 25-S$30 for 20 mins ride. 4) Waited 2 hours for the hotel staff to send us the room service menu, then another 1 hour for the food to be served. 5) Land transfer (2 ways) to hotel from ferry terminal is chargeable.
Review 135:The room is not bad...spacious room with a big sofa.
Review 136:Horrible live band at the Beach Bar. Humidity, hence mold, in the room. Food and beverages a bit pricey.
Review 137:Breakfast and Dinner buffet, but get ready for queuing. Fresh Coconuts. Nice pools. Game boards and Billiards
Review 138:The whole place is in need of an update - walls look scruffy and need repainted; towels are old, no longer white and fraying; sheets are greying and stained - I would usually ignore this for a cheaper hotel but expect better for the price of Bintan Lagoon. There is absolutely no wifi anywhere in the hotel - we were told we could access it in the hotel reception, but never managed to get a signal. The beach is gorgeous but there are only a handful of sun loungers there - what a waste! I paid for a beach front hotel and yet was never able to fully enjoy sitting on the beach as I had to lay a towel down on the sand.
Review 139:Staff were very helpful, transfer to and from the ferry is very organised. Breakfast is alright, room was clean, pools are big and clean.
Review 140:It was a stand alone resort with no town around so all meals and drinks had to be purchased on site. Prices for food and drinks were unreasonably high. The property was so beautiful it wouldn't stop me from returning but if you have a limited budget be prepared for $100 to $150 a day minimum for food and drinks.
Review 141:Really lovely resort. Huge pool and deserted beach. Every member of the staff that you passed stopped to ask you where you from and how are you. Do you need anything. The transfer from the ferry to hotel was easy.
Review 142:You have to pay for everything (even feeding the fish) and the value for money is not good. A pasta in the Med.Restaurant for 480,000 ruphias :( The resort is also isolated.
Review 143:We had a weekend away from Singapore and Bintan Lagoon resort was very relaxing. The room was very comfortable and the bed was so nice! Swimming pool and beach were also very nice. And the breakfast was very hearty.
Review 144:Buffet in main restaurant had few meat choices. Other 'captive' restaurants were quite expensive - pretty much Singapore prices. Beach outside of resort limits not cleaned with lot of tar deposits.
Review 145:Friendliness of staff. Willingness to respond to questions. Grounds and swimming pool kept in excellent order.
