Review 2:Apart from the comments above, the bedrooms were five star and what a pleasure to have sheets and blankets for temperature control. Will definitely revisit.
Review 3:Extremely poor sound proofing , creaking floorboards from other room drove us to distraction. Then another room late night drink session woke us up again. We were up early and asked for Continental breakfast to be left out. Was expecting more than coffee and croissant each.

Review 39:Beautiful surrounding countryside and close to the town of Blairgowrie. The rooms are big and airy and the dining facilities are excellent.
Review 40:No shower as such only over the bath with no screen or point for shower head to be attached. No facilities to make tea or coffee in rooms.
Review 41:Lovely location, like being in a country home as a guest for a weekend.
Review 42:The price it means we can't return as often as we would like. My wife and I use it for special events
Review 43:The ambience, relaxed atmosphere in superbably furnished rooms, food and friendliness of the proprietor and the staff

Review 48:traditional country house great food, excellent wine list. overall, we were very happy with the hotel and the service
Review 49:Dining room could do with a 'make over'. Staff efficient but not a lot of personality.
Review 50:Lovely room and the hotel itself is beautiful. Food was good.
Review 51:The wine list can be improved with better quality/value wines; some of the Easter European staff are not all that friendly.
Review 52:Atmosphere, the food has improved a lot since our last stay, comfy bed, big bathroom
Review 53:Wi-Fi was intermittent
Review 54:Staff made you very welcome. Vey relaxing rooms particularly the conservatory. Excellant food. Interesting grounds to explore and great views from the bedroom.
Review 55:Much too formal approach to dealing with guests by almost all staff wemet, with the exception of the manager.Staff gave no sense of interest in you as a customer, virtually no smiles or thanks. Breakfast delivered to the table without a single word! Never asked once if we enjoyed our food or needed anything else.Hardly a word spoken when we paid our bill - no "thank's for staying with us, hope to see you again" Atrocious way to deal with guests.
Review 56:Rooms were spacious and food was of good quality
Review 57:*Felt out of place with most of the other guests that were there as mostwere substantially older than ourselves and we seemed to be frowned uponby them. *Negative comments were overheard by me and my fiance about usby an older couple in the lounge with regards to how the hotel"must be giving discounts on rooms and dinner"!!! *The hoteldid not inform us of the required attire for dining area - we did notrealise no jeans or t shirt were permitted in dining room until we gotto the hotel and read the hotel information book. *Extremely quiet inthe dining room and the lounge, felt like we had to whisper to eachother all of the time, very uncomfortable. *We wouldnt come back just tothe shear fact of some of the other guests that were there making usfeel uncomfortable with the looks and the comments. Would recommend thishotel to older couples but not couples of our age (27).
Review 58:*The hotel itself was beautiful, within lovely grounds and countryside.*Rooms were V.spacious and the bed was like a big marshmellow, extremelycomfortable. *Staff were all very attentive and dressed very smart. Theylooked after us well.* I ordered a cocktail before dinner and asked for a pina colada - this isnt what i received, i could not drink it, wasnt to my taste but, after dinner the staff had realised this wasnt the right cocktail and i was brought out the correct one which i thought was extremely nice of them. Staff were brilliant, could not fault them.
Review 59:There was nothing that I didn't like.
Review 60:I loved the building, the service and the location. The staff were excellent, even when we kept them far too long while eating breakfast one day.
Review 61:No shower or tea making facility in the room. The hole experience was a little stiff and stuck in the past. They would need to bring the service up to modern day standards. Some background music in the bar and restaurant would help the atmosphere greatly.
Review 62:Large country house situated in the beautiful Perthshire countryside , oak lined walls and grand fire place. Very inviting look to the place. Food was good.
Review 63:We would have preferred a brighter eating area, especially at breakfast. How about using the sun room at breakfast.
