Review 1：View from room not pretty out the back, gurgling noise from heating and decor a bit outdated.

Review 2：Location brilliant, left the car on carpark and walked everywhere, only over the road to the shops and restaurants.

Review 3：The hotel is very outdated. There were cigarette ash trays in the elevator, which was tiny; the rooms had 1960s intercom systems and telephones; and the doors used real keys. The hotel staff asked every time we came in and out which room we stayed in even though they saw us just exit. The floors are not marked, and the staff didn't tell us which floor our room was on, so we had to look ourselves (how room 174 ends up being on the 3rd floor when rooms start at 150 on the 1st floor is beyond me), and each floor was dark until a light is switched on. The parking garage under the building was tiny and dark. We had trouble getting out - it took us a long time to maneuver out in a standard 4-door sedan. There was no gate either so anyone could have just wandered in off the street. We stayed at far better hotels in other towns in Brittany for the price we paid here for two nights in midweek.

Review 4：We picked this location because it is very near the old city for sightseeing, and near the train station because we returned to Paris from Quimper. The front staff was very nice if a bit standoffish; at least they spoke a bit of English.

Review 6：It is impossible to put the hotel in a better position. It is right at the side of the old town so everything is within walking distance. The rooms were a very good size.

Breakfast is good, more than just the French bread, jam and coffee, also cheese, ham, fruit, cereals etc. Location is excellent for exploring Quimper. Good garage for parking the car in the shade.

Review 23：We would have welcomed having tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We could get hot drinks during the day from the machine, but they were not 'on the house'. They appeared on the final bill.

Review 24：Staff were helpful and informative and coped with our limited French. The room was clean and comfortable, with en suite facilities, and was a good size. We had a room at the front so had a view across the river Odet to the cathedral and old city wall. Breakfast (not included in the price of the room) is a cold buffet, with adequate choice, and hot drinks from a machine. The hotel was easy to find from the road that runs along the side of the river. Parking at the front was occasionally crowded, but in those circumstances, staff drove our car round the back to the garage below the hotel. A short walk across the flower decorated footbridges takes you into the old town. A five minute walk along the river takes you to the tourist office. Quimper is an interesting town - if a little touristy. It is also a good base for exploring other parts of Brittany. Overall - good value for money. We would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

The location is superb, one minute's walk from the centre, easy access to a wide range of good restaurants and a perfect view of the cathedral from our room. The other big plus is the free car parking!
